  • Ms. Wang Chunxiang, 53, Tortured to Death in 2011 in Liaoning Women's Prison

    Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Chunxiang was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2006, and incarcerated at the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. She died in prison on September 25th, 2011. On April 5th, 2011, Ms. Wang was taken to the storage room, where inmates beat her severely. The guards were watching outside the room. Ms. Wang ran out of the room, telling the guards, “They are beating me.” The guards said, “Who beat you? Who saw it?” “Who let you not do labour in the workshop?” Ms. Wang was dragged back to the room and beaten continuously. When she was taken back to the cell, bruises covered her body. Her buttocks had been pierced by needles and was festering and turning black.
  • Wife and Son of Just-Killed Engineer Frequently Harassed by Police

    Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Hongkui passed away on August 28th, 2012 because of intense persecution. His body is not even cold yet, yet his wife and son are frequently harassed by officers from the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong), sub-district office, the justice bureau, and other organizations. It was said that an order was given internally during the 18th Party Congress, “One will be dismissed from one's post if a person appeals and files a complaint against him.” These people are afraid of Mr. Li's family going to Beijing to appeal.
  • Mr. Wang Linjiang Dies after Six Years in Prison

    Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Linjiang was arrested and sentenced to prison in 2005. He was incarcerated in Xinjiang No. 5 Prison, where he became severely ill as a result of abuse and inhuman living conditions. He was released in January 2011, but could not recover his health and died on October 28th, 2012. He was 43. Xinjiang No. 5 Prison threatens and intimidates Falun Gong practitioners in an attempt to “transform” [forcibly renounce Falun Gong] them and force them to write the three statements to renounce practising Falun Gong. The guards force practitioners to watch videos that slander Falun Gong.
  • Details Regarding the Persecution and Death of Older Mr. Wang Kaiming and His Wife, Yao Guilan

    Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Kaiming had a brain haemorrhage for the second time in January 2011 in Panjin Prison. He became unconscious and went into a vegetative state. Mr. Wang passed away on December 20th. Mr. Wang Kaiming's wife Ms. Yao Guilan was arrested in March 2009 because she was speaking the truth about Falun Gong in public. Ms. Yao was sent to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp , where she started to have illness symptoms. She passed away on August 9th, 2009.
  • Shandong Province Police General Hospital Persecutes Falun Gong Practitioners to the Brink of Death

    Shandong Province Prison sent the body of practitioner Lu Zhen, who had already been beaten to death, to the hospital in a car. To fabricate false evidence, they put his body on an intravenous drip then did an ECG and took photos of his body. This took nearly two hours. They finally declared that he'd had a relapse of a heart attack and died after efforts to save him failed. Over 50 convicts were present and saw wounds as well as bruises all over Lu Zhen's body.
  • Ms. He Yingtao’s Personal Account of Persecution--Husband Wrongfully Indicted and Dies As a Result of Torture

    Falun Gong practitioner Ms. He Yingtao from Xiapu County, Fujian Province, has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for 13 years. She was given a two-year prison term and twice forced to leave home and become destitute for a year. Her practitioner husband, Mr. Zheng Xidi, was given a three-year sentence while he was critically ill. He passed away in late 2009.
  • Investigation Lead: Organ Harvesting in Shijiazhuang First Detention Centre

    Shijiazhuang First Detention Centre executed two groups of criminals in late March and late June 2009. The executed were required to sign “voluntary” organ donation agreements. One of them refused to sign. All were told to get agreements from their families so their organs could be donated, but they were executed before responses were received from any of the families. The inmate who refused to sign was executed on March 29th, 2009. Both groups were taken out of the detention centre at around 8:30 a.m., but weren't executed until noon. What happened before noon on those days is not known.

  • Ms. Su Xiaoping, 54, Dies after Being Abused in Maoming Brainwashing Centre

    Ms. Su Xiaoping, 54, was reported to the police on August 13th, 2012, for speaking with people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by police and taken to the Xinyi Drug Rehabilitation Centre to serve a 15-day detention. Fifteen days later, on August 28th, Ms. Su was released and returned home. Police went to her home that same day and tried to force Ms. Su to admit her guilt and sign some forms. She refused, so the officers then forcibly took her to the Maoming City Brainwashing Centre. Ms. Su developed urinary incontinence in the brainwashing centre, becoming swollen all over and unable to walk. Ms. Su died on October 7th.
  • Epoch Times: US House Members Seek Answers on Transplant Abuse in China

    Approximately one-quarter of the membership of the U.S. House of Representatives has co-signed a letter asking the Secretary of State to “release any information” the department has “relating to transplant abuses in China.” Congressmen Andrews and Smith refer to “testimony implicating Chinese hospitals and doctors in the practice of forced organ harvesting from prisoners, to allegedly include from living practitioners of the Falun Gong spiritual movement, Uyghurs, Tibetans and House Christians.”
  • Ms. Jiang Meilan, 65, from Yongzhou, Hunan Province Dies After Being Persecuted at a Brainwashing Centre

    On September 7th, 2012, polce went to 65-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Jiang Meilan's home and dragged Ms. Jiang away to a brainwashing centre. Ms. Jiang was down to her last breath by late September, and was in critical condition. Her family took her out from the brainwashing centre on October 1st and took her to the hospital emergency department. Ms. Jiang passed away on October 2nd. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong in 1999, Ms. Jiang was imprisoned at Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Zhuzhou, from 2001 to 2003, where she was subjected to much physical and mental torture. Ms. Jiang was arrested in 2005 and was sentenced to one year of forced labour and sent to Baimalong Forced Labour Camp again.
  • Ms. Xu Guifang, 66, Dies after Being Detained in a Forced Labour Camp for Six Months

    Ms. Xu Guifang, 66, was incarcerated in the Shaanxi Women's Forced Labour Camp in 2012. She was very weak and lost her senses after six months of detention. She was released on September 14th, 2012. She couldn't remember how to get home and was unable to recognize her acquaintances. She died on October 3rd.
  • Ms. Hao Yuzhi, 58, Dies after Abuse by Guards at Hebei Province Women's Forced Labour Camp

    Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hao Yuzhi died on September 6th, at the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labour Camp, at the age of 58. She was arrested by officers from the Guantao County Police Department on July 16th, 2011. Her home was ransacked and she was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labour. According to sources, guard Wu Lina struck Ms. Hao on her chest with a club in May. Ms. Hao suffered from chest pain afterwards and had bleedings in her lower body. Chief Zang Zhiying brought Ms. Hao to the camp hospital for a checkup, but no medical treatment was given. Zang then forced Ms. Hao to go to the fields and perform hard labour.
  • Falun Gong Practitioners in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province Injected with Unknown Drugs

    Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Jiaju, 58, was arrested and sent to the brainwashing centre in May 2011, by police. Ms. Li protested the persecution by immediately going on a hunger strike. Two weeks later, personnel from the brainwashing centre injected her with an unknown drug and released her. When she got home, her health deteriorated. In September she began to bleed from the lower part of her body. The bleeding occurred a few times a month. After the 2012 New Year, it became more serious and she started passing blood clots. The bleeding occurred more and more frequently. She soon became completely bedridden and died on April 16th, 2012. The cause appears to be a slow-acting, lethal injection.

    The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners shocked the international community when it became known in 2006 and has been condemned ever since. Recently, the United State Congress held a hearing on the CCP’s harvesting of organs from political dissidents and religious believers. At the United National Human Rights Council meeting, international organizations proposed to conduct an immediate investigation into the CCP’s live organ harvesting. This development drew people’s attention to this issue again. Doctors, lawyers, judges, elected officials, movie directors, and the public strongly condemn the CCP’s reprehensible practice and call for an end to the atrocity.
