Communist Regime Agents Make More Unjust Arrests after Causing a Practitioner to Fall to Her Death in Hebei Province

On August 7th, the police launched a mass arrest of local practitioners. While the police were ransacking the home of Shijiazhuang practitioner Yang Yinqiao, her husband returned and discovered that his wife had fallen from their fifth-floor apartment. When he confronted the police, they all ran away. A number of armed police officers suddenly appeared and cordoned off the area. Even their son and his mother-in-law were not allowed to see Ms. Yang’s body. The police gave her son a savage beating and then summoned the family’s relatives to the police station, ordering them not to disclose any news about Ms. Yang’s death. On August 13th, more arrests of practitioners followed. -
Wife Suspected to Have Been a Victim of Organ Harvesting, Husband Killed to Conceal the Truth
2012-10-05Falun Gong practitioner Ms. He Xiuling was transferred from a detention centre to a hospital in March 2004 for meningitis. She was later taken to the morgue while still breathing and her lower back was bandaged. Her husband Xu Chengben suspected that his wife had her kidneys harvested while she was still alive. The police tried to pay him 100,000 yuan to keep him quiet, but he refused. When Mr. Xu published an article online two years later, questioning his wife's death and expressing his suspicion of his wife being a victim of organ harvesting, he was arrested the very next day. Other family members were then forced to agree to cremate Ms. He's body. -
76-Year-Old Woman Arrested, Dies after Unscheduled Surgery
2012-10-05A 76-year-old Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Fang Qiuju, was arrested at the Production and Construction Legion in Xinjiang Autonomous Region and taken to the legion's brainwashing centre in September 2011. Early in the morning on October 4th, Ms. Fang was wheeled into surgery. Her family waiting at the door saw three plainclothes police go into the operating room through a back door. Her family thought that something was not right and tried to enter the operating room, but the nurses would not let them in. Ms. Fang died of a high fever the day after. Her family members have always felt that there were many suspicious points regarding her death, but they hadn't contacted the outside world for the past year so no one else has known about it. -
Wife and Daughter of a Practitioner Who Was Tortured to Death Have Themselves Been Physically Abused and Tortured in a Forced Labour Camp
2012-09-28Ms. Wang Xiuqing and her youngest daughter Ms. Qin Hailong were both sentenced to 18 months of forced labour because they sought redress for the death of their husband and father, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Qin Yueming, who died in Jiamusi prison as a result of torture on February 26th, 2011. -

2012-09-25Ms. Wang Xiuqing and her youngest daughter Ms. Qin Hailong were both sentenced to 18 months of forced labour because they sought redress for the death of their husband and father, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Qin Yueming, who died in Jiamusi prison as a result of torture on February 26th, 2011. Ms. Qin Hailong showed very obvious signs of being subjected to physical abuse and torture when her older sister visited her in Qianjin Forced Labour Camp. The guards had beaten and shocked her with electric batons in attempts to force her to give up her belief in Falun Gong. -
Falun Gong Practitioners Tortured and Killed in the Name of “Medical Treatment”
2012-09-11Zhengzhou Prison is persecuting Falun Gong practitioners by injecting them with “treatments” of unknown substances. The guards examine the practitioners, and then collaborate with the prison doctor to treat minor ailments with major medical treatments. Even when practitioners have no illness, unknown medications are forced upon them. If they refuse the treatment, other inmates are ordered to beat them. Many Falun Gong practitioners were healthy before, yet once forced into prison, they developed illnesses, and after the “treatments,” they became seriously ill. Some Falun Gong practitioners have died or been seriously harmed by such treatments. -
Older Mr. Li Hongkui Persecuted in Daqing Prison, Passes Away Just Before End of Prison Term
2012-09-07Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Hongkui was serving a seven-year prison term at the Daqing Prison. His term was to end on September 21st, 2012. However, he passed away on August 28th as a result of brutal persecution, just 20 days before his scheduled release. Mr. Li was 61 years old. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, Mr. Li was arrested three times and sentenced to prison twice. In total, he spent ten years in prison and suffered torture. -
My Three Years of Suffering in a Labour Camp; Bearing Witness to Practitioner Mr. Chen Baoliang’s Death from Beating
2012-09-07My name is Wang Zhe. After the persecution of Falun Gong began in July 1999, I was arrested in November 1999 for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was subsequently imprisoned at Tianjin City’s Beichen Police Branch Office for one month. My workplace fired me after my release. On July 20th, 2001, police forcibly took me away from my new workplace. During my three years of forced labour, I witnessed the beating to death of practitioner Mr. Chen Baoliang in August 2002. -
The Persecution Suffered by Mr. Lian Yikun Before His Death
2012-09-07Because of the persecution of Falun Gong, practitioner Mr. Lian Yikun was forced to become homeless for many years. He decided to return home to apply for an ID card on April 26th, 2012. However, he was arrested by the local police department and taken to Suihua Forced Labour Camp 15 days later. In just a little over a month, Mr. Lian died at the labour camp at the age of 39, apparently tortured to death. His family received the notification on July 14th and all they saw was his disfigured corpse covered with wounds and both legs broken. -
Mr. Sun Shaomin, 54, Passes Away After 13 Years of Abuse
2012-08-31Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Sun Shaomin from Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province has been repeatedly arrested and detained during the past 13 years, and subjected to forced labour. He was sentenced to ten years in prison, where he was brutally tortured. He was mentally and physically worn down by the abuse and eventually passed away on May 29th, at the age of 54. -
Ms. Yang Yinqiao Plunges to Her Death from Building During Recent Mass Arrest Targeting Falun Gong
2012-08-21Over 700 villagers from Dong'anfeng Village, Zhengding County, Hebei Province, signed a petition in support of rescuing Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Lankui. The Chinese regime ignored the will of the public, and instead they sent personnel to harass and intimidate villagers. They pressured the villagers who signed the form. They claimed that they would find the one who sent the news about the petition to be published on the Internet. They arrested Mr. Li's wife and second daughter on August 2nd, 2012, then arrested two Falun Gong practitioners from the village. They started another round of arrests on August 7th. During an attempted arrest, Ms. Yang Yinqiao plunged to her death from a building. -
Mr. Bai Shijun Died Five Years Ago from Torture at Tailai Prison in Heilongjiang Province
2012-08-21Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Bai Shijun from Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province was sentenced to four years in prison. He suffered tortures at the Tailai Prison which resulted in heart disease, renal atrophy and pulmonary inflammation, and his life was in danger. The prison phoned his family on April 24th, 2006 to inform them that he was in critical condition. However, the prison used all kinds of excuses to disallow his release for medical treatment. He was not released until December 2006. Mr. Bai died on April 23rd, 2007 at the age of 55. -
Ms. Ma Zhichai Dies in Police Custody under Suspicious Circumstances
2012-08-17Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ma Zhichai, 42, died in police custody on August 1st, 2012. Her body is being held at the Jiyuan City Funeral Home, but her family have not been allowed to view the body. Funeral home personnel have said that it is not allowed to see her body without the permission from the director of the police department. Ms. Ma had been in the intensive care unit after her health deteriorated in detention, but she was beginning to recover. Her sudden death, and the police department's refusal to allow the family to view the body have raised serious concerns about the cause of Ms. Ma's death. -
Sixty-Nine-Year-Old Practitioner Ms. Zhang Guilian from Dalian City Dies One Month After Arrest
2012-08-17Sixty-nine-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Guilian was taking a shower at home on July 6th, 2012 when the police broke in. They arrested her and took her to a detention centre. Ms. Zhang Guilian was detained for 17 days before she developed symptoms of a stroke. Her life was in danger. To avoid responsibility for her possible death, the detention centre officers sent her home. Ms. Zhang passed away on August 5th, only 29 days after she was arrested. -
Details Regarding the Persecution and Death of 66-Year-Old Mr. Zhao Shenxing from Wu'an
2012-08-17Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhao Shenxing was sent to a forced labour camp three times. Guards shocked Mr. Zhao with electric batons and beat him with rubber batons for a very long time. They tortured him without restraint. Mr. Zhao suffered a mental breakdown as a result of torture at the Handan City Forced Labour Camp. He passed away on November 20th, 2011, at the age of 66.
