  • Germany: North German Practitioners Expose the Persecution to the Residents of Kassel

    On October 29th 2005, North German practitioners congregated to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China to the residents of Kassel. Kassel has a population of around 200,000. By the end of the day, so many people had wished us “All the Best” and “God speed,” and they let us know that they valued our efforts.
  • Russia: Introducing Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution at the Fourth International Cultural Festival in Moscow

    On October 16th and 17th, Falun Gong practitioners in Moscow were invited to participate in the Fourth International Cultural Festival. The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed a lot of leaflets to participants regarding the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong.
  • France: Appealing for the Orphaned Children of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners on World Children's Rights Day

    Many Falun Gong practitioners came from all over France to participate in activity called “Rescue the Children” held in Paris' Human Rights Square. In China, due to the Chinese Communist regime’s illegal persecution of Falun Gong, nobody knows how many innocent children have lost their parents or become destitute and homeless.
  • Mainpost (Germany): Will there be a miracle for Jiang Renzheng?

    "For years, Chinese citizen Jiang Renzheng and his wife Ms. Rui Guo fought for their right to stay in Germany, but in March of 2005, the Falun Gong adherents and their two children, one and two years old, were deported from Würzburg. That they would not face any danger was the reason for the refusal of their request for asylum. Until September, the belief was widely held that only Falun Gong adherents that have appealed publicly for the banned group would be in danger."
  • Germany: Exposing the Persecution Against Falun Gong to People in the Business World

    German practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in front of Siemens headquarters before President Hu’s visit. The purpose was to show employees what Falun Gong is, the persecution Falun Gong practitioners have been suffering in China and why the Chinese Communist regime has committed the crime of genocide against Falun Gong. The practitioners tried to awaken people’s sense of justice and called upon them to help stop the persecution.
  • Holland: Practitioners Read Falun Dafa Association Announcement in front of the Chinese Embassy

    The Falun Dafa Association published an announcement warning all those who assist the Chinese Communist regime in persecuting Falun Gong, including officials in Chinese Embassies and Consulates, to stop doing evil. Falun Gong practitioners read the announcement in Chinese and English in front of the Chinese Embassy at the Hague.
  • Germany: Telling People in Eastern Bavaria about the Persecution of Falun Gong before Hu Jintao’s Visit

    Before Hu Jintao’s state visit to Germany, practitioners from Eastern Bavaria organised activities on November 4th in Regensburg and on November 6th in Cham. Since schools in Bavaria were closed for holidays last week, many young people came by who were very interested. They expressed sincere outrage in the face of the torture of peaceful people.
  • Westline, Ruhr News (Germany): Protest at the Roadside

    "Human rights activists from Amnesty International and the spiritual practice Falun Gong demonstrated behind barricades in Eving’s downtown against China’s continued human rights violations. The spiritual movement Falun Gong has been banned in China since 1999, and the regime is persecuting its members. Adherents are sent to re-education or forced labour camps, said Angela Xie- Großjohann, who has lived in Germany for four years."
  • Germany: Helping the Police to Learn the Facts and Make a Just Choice

    In the morning of the 13th of November, Hu left the hotel in Dusseldorf for the airport. After the motorcade left, a policewoman commented, “We understand you well. We know about what is happening in China and that you are peaceful. If I were not duty, I would also take to the streets to protest against the CCP leaders.”
  • Germany: Large Scale Falun Gong Parade in Düsseldorf

    Falun Gong practitioners from different countries held an enormous parade when President Hu was visiting Düsseldorf. The parade was composed of a drum team, a group of practitioners in white holding photos of those persecuted to death, girls in traditional Chinese costumes and hundreds of banners and picture boards.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Workshop at Dumbarton Academy in Scotland

    Students signed the petition and the class warmly thanked the practitioners. The teacher enthusiastically thanked them saying the presentation had been excellent. She suggested that they visit other schools in Scotland and, although she was shocked to find out about the persecution, she was glad that they had come to raise awareness about it.
  • During Hu Jintao’s Visit to Germany, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs were to Request the Release of Jiang Renzheng

    On the eve of Hu Jintao’s state visit to Germany, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs took measures to help Jiang Renzheng and his family to leave China. Jiang and his family are Falun Gong practitioners who wee deported from Germany after the German Government mistakenly thought that they would not be in any danger. Upon their return to China, persecution started and Jiang was put in a forced labour camp. But after the German Government's intervention, Benxi Labour Camp of Liaoning Province hampered the departure of Jiang Renzheng and his family. The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs assured a local Falun Gong representative that Jiang’s release would be brought up during official meetings with Hu Jintao.
  • Germany’s New Chancellor: Germany will continue to pay attention to China’s human rights violations including Falun Gong issue

    Mr. Lackamp, Head of human rights Affairs of the Christian Democratic Union, sent a letter to the practitioner on behalf of Ms. Merkel, to the effect that she was regretful to learn that Falun Gong practitioners are still persecuted in China. The letter also indicated that the Christian Democratic Union has raised the issues concerning the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners many times in Germany’s Parliamentary sessions and various levels of the Sino-German dialogue. In the letter, she also assured the practitioner that the Union will continue to pay attention to China’s human right problems including Falun Gong issues in the future.
  • Germany: Anti-torture Exhibition Toured Government Buildings

    Before President Hu’s visit to Germany, practitioners toured government buildings with an anti-torture exhibition to let the staff know about the persecution. By November 2nd, the anti-torture exhibition had visited the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Ministry of Domestic Affairs, the Presidential Palace and the headquarters of political party CDU.
  • Spain: A Police Officer Cherishes "Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance"

    During Chinese President Hu Jintao’s visit to Spain, some practitioners came all the way from Switzerland to participate in the activities. They intended to take advantage of this opportunity to call on the Chinese President to bring an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Throughout the activities, Spanish police stood in line in front of the practitioners participating in the petition. Practitioners knew that it was because of China’s pressure that the Spanish authorities ordered the police to do so.
