Russia: Introducing Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution at the Fourth International Cultural Festival in Moscow

On October 16th and 17th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Moscow were invited to participate in the Fourth International Cultural Festival, which was held at the Moscow Art Centre. The practitioners spent two days demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and distributed a lot of information materials. They took the opportunity to tell people about the truth of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong.

Before demonstrating the exercises, practitioners said, "What we are demonstrating are the five exercises of Falun Gong. Falun Gong is an ancient cultivation way. By practising Falun Gong you can not only help people get rid of illness and build up health but also improve their morality, making people become honest, kindhearted, and tolerant. It has already spread to more than seventy countries and regions in the world and practitioners exceed one hundred million. In Russia at present, there are more than twenty cities and areas, from Saint Petersburg on the Atlantic coast to Karput island of the Pacific Ocean, in which there are Falun Gong students who practise the exercises and studying the principles of Falun Dafa"

"However, since the July 20th 1999, Jiang Zemin and the CCP have persecuted hundreds of millions of kindhearted Falun Gong practitioners, put tens of thousands of people,in prison, asylums, and labour camps. So far 2778 people have been persecuted to death. This persecution was not only directed against Falun Gong practitioners, but also trampled on human morality, justice, and conscience. We hope all kindhearted people can know the truth about the persecution, support justice and help stop the persecution."
