Prison Guard Reveals How Falun Gong Practitioner Bi Wenming Was Tortured to Death in 30 Minutes

On September 3, 2004, the guards at Dingxi Prison brought Mr. Bi Wenming into a room and tied his limbs and neck onto a homemade "tiger bench". Beginning at noon, five or six guards took turns shocking Mr. Bi's limbs and head with electric batons. He shouted in agony with each round of shocks. In order to keep other prisoners who were working outside from hearing, the guards covered Mr. Bi Wenming's mouth with a towel and pressed the towel down with their hands so that he could not shout. Mr. Bi could not breathe and tried to shake his head to throw off the towel. By about 12:30 p.m., Mr. Bi Wenming's face turned dark and his eyes opened wide. He had stopped breathing. A 36-year-old man was tortured to death in less than 30 minutes by the guards of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). -
Elderly Ms. Tai Bingxiu from Jilin Province Dies from Persecution
2005-07-05Ms. Tai Bingxiu was 60 years old. On the morning of June 24, 2001, Ms. Tai picked up a banner with the words, "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" on her way to a relative's house. She attached the banner to a wall, and was seen by the deputy director of the local police substation, who was following her. Ms. Tai was deceived into going to the police station and was detained there for 15 days. Soon thereafter, the police ransacked her home three times, confiscated all her Falun Dafa books, and extorted more than one thousand yuan from her. She was forced to write a "guarantee statement" to give up practising and was threatened with further torment. These actions severely damaged her health. She passed out in her yard, and was found by her family members. When the ambulance came, she was suffering a heart attack. She passed away on November 2, 2001. -
More Detailed Information on Mr. Cheng Jingshan Who Was Persecuted to Death
2005-07-05On April 8, 2004, Mr. Cheng was locked up in the county detention centre for telling people the truth about Falun Gong. He was brutally beaten by the criminals there. On May 9, when he was in critical condition, Mr. Cheng's family was notified to take him home. But even still, the "610 Office" and the County Public Security Bureau did not leave him alone. Right before he passed away, they still continued to send people to harass Mr. Cheng. Under extreme physical and spiritual pressures, Mr. Cheng Jingshan died on January 11, 2005. -
Information on Thirteen Practitioners in Shandong, Hebei, Heilongjiang, and Sichuan Provinces Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-07-05Mr. Huang Anwen, and his wife, Ms. Ma. Guixiang, lived in Shandong Province. They learned Falun Dafa in 1998 and gained many benefits, especially improved health. After the persecution of Falun Gong began, they were harassed frequently. They were threatened and their home was ransacked. Once, Ms. Ma was abducted and taken to the police station and handcuffed to a chair for one day and night. Due to the intense stress from the ongoing harassment, the husband and wife passed away one after the other within the two-week period between April 15 to May 1, 2003. -
Practitioner Zheng Lin from Jilin Province Has Died as a Result of Torture at Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp
2005-07-0458 years old Mr. Zheng Lin was sentenced two years of forced labour "re-education." He was jailed in Changchun City's Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp. Zheng was severely tortured in the forced labour camp. Even when he was very weak, the policemen still forced him to work. Because Zheng refused to write the so-called "five statements", the authorities refused to release him when the sentence was over. Because his body was so severely injured, the hospital was unable to rescue him, though many treatments were applied. Zheng Lin passed away on April 4, 2005. -
Seven Practitioners from Hebei, Heilongjiang, Shaanxi, and Liaoning Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution
2005-07-04Ms. Liu Qingrui, who is in her 60s, began practising Falun Gong in 1996 and benefited physically and mentally from the practice. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, she was harassed many times by Public Security Bureau and the 610 Office. In September 2000, the Haixing County Public Security Bureau detained her without legal process for two weeks and extorted several thousand yuan from her because she appealed for Dafa. For the past several years, the Haixing County Public Security Bureau and 610 Office have used a number of methods to prevent her from practising Falun Dafa, including intimidation, surveillance and levying fines. Liu Qingrui died on April 8, 2005. -

Ms Gao Rongrong was arrested near the United States Consulate on March 6th 2005. After her death, several officials visited Ms. Gao's home and coerced the family into having her body cremated immediately. Once her body was at the funeral home, her family members were strongly discouraged from paying their respects. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Lin Deming Dies after Prolonged Persecution
2005-07-02Mr. Lin Deming, a 53 year old doctor was kind-hearted. He suffered from many diseases, and he even had his spleen surgically removed. Less than one month after he started practising Falun Dafa, the diseases that had tortured him for many years all vanished and his health naturally returned. In 2000, Mr. Lin Deming peacefully appealed for Falun Gong in Beijing with his six other family members. From then on he suffered terrible persecution. After several years of torture in a forced labour camp, Mr. Lin Deming became debilitated, losing the use of his left eye. Under the stress of prolonged harassment and persecution, Mr. Lin Deming passed away on June 9, 2005. -
More Information on the Death of Falun Dafa Practitioner Jin Zunyi from Jiangxi Province
2005-07-02Jin Zunyi, a Falun Dafa practitioner died from persecution. When he went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong on September 25, 1999, he was arrested and detained in a detention centre in Beijing. In October 1999, under orders from their superiors, the Public Security Bureau and an officer from the local police station accompanied Mr. Jin's family to Beijing to identify his body. The police officer in Beijing told the family, "During a train ride, your son jumped to his death." They were also warned not to talk about it with other people. Mr. Jin's father, a simple farmer, lost his son and didn't know how and where he could appeal for justice. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Jiabin Dies from Toxic Drug Injections
2005-07-01On August 18, 2004, the local authorities arrested Mr. Li Jiabin and sent him to the Shuangliu Detention Centre, where he was tortured for 4 months. Then they sent him to the No. 1 People's Hospital and tortured him. They injected him with drugs and beat him for half a month. As a result, Mr. Li's mental clarity was shattered and his entire body became swollen. He died on May 26, 2005. -
Upon Witnessing the Illegal Arrest of her Daughter, Mother, 80, Passed Away in a State of Extreme Fear
2005-07-01An elderly lady in her eighties passed away in a state of extreme fear after witnessing the illegal arrest of her daughter, Ms. He Rongtao. The group of thugs broke in to her home twice. The first time they forcibly removed her daughter and the second, they searched her home. He's mother was extremely scared and fell ill. Not long after, her mother heard that a Falun Dafa practitioner in the village had been tortured to death during detention. This news terrified her even worse. On January 11, 2001, she passed away. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Jin Xingbo Tortured to Death in 2001
2005-06-30On November 27, 2000, Mr. Jin Xingbo was arrested at his home and jailed in prison. He went on a hunger strike to protest and was brutally force-fed. On July 3, 2001, he was suddenly sent home by the local police, who said he had a lung infection and was dying of lung cancer. Mr. Jin could not take care of himself and was dying. On July 21, 2001, Mr. Jin left this world. The family requested an autopsy to properly determine the true cause of death. Local police and government officials, however, ignored his family's requests, and forced them to take his body on the afternoon of July 23, 2001, and have it cremated. -
Seven Falun Dafa Practitioners from Xinjiang, Beijing, Sichuan, and Liaoning Provinces Die Due to Persecution
2005-06-3065 year old Mr. Li Xingquan was from Sichuan Province. His wife was repeatedly persecuted because she appealed and told people the truth about Falun Dafa. In May 2003, she was again sentenced to four years because she distributed leaflets exposing the persecution, and was severely persecuted at the Chunxi Prison for Women. She was incarcerated in solitary confinement for a long time, and her family members were not allowed to visit her. Mr. Li Xingquan persisted in cultivating Falun Dafa, but because he bore such extreme psychological pressure for so long, he suffered from sudden apoplexy and passed away on June 16, 2005. -
Police from Chengdu City Arrest Ms Zhang Weihua, Her Husband and Her Mother - Her Father Passes Away Due to the Persecution
2005-06-29In May 2005 the police in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms Zhang Weihua, her husband, and her mother. Even her father, who does not practise Falun Gong, was affected. He passed away due to the persecution. After Zhang Weihua was detained, she had to start a hunger-strike to resist the persecution. The police attempted to force her to eat by beating her and cursing, but it was no use. They then sent many criminals to persuade her to eat. Seeing that Zhang did not listen to them, they force-fed her.
