Practitioner Ms. Guan Shujuan Relentlessly Persecuted - Her Grief-stricken Teenage Son Commits Suicide

Ms. Guan Shujuan and has been abducted multiple times and sent to brainwashing classes, placed under house arrest or had money extorted by the police. In January 2001, Liaolan Town Police Station officials fabricated an excuse to secretly send Ms. Guan Shujuan to the Jinan City Forced Labour Camp to serve three years of forced labour. During that time period when Ms. Guan was serving the term, her fifteen-year-old son (not a practitioner) could not bear the injustice committed against his mother. He took poison and died on August 30, 2001. -
Twelve Falun Gong Practitioners from Shandong, Jilin, Hebei and Helongjiang Provinces Died Due to the Persecution
2005-06-28Ms. Wang Shuzheng, 63 years old, was a practitioner from Yitong County, Jilin Province. She began to practise Falun Dafa in April of 1996. After practising she no longer suffered from many of her illnesses. She was in good physical and mental health. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the police detained and interrogated Ms. Wang many times. She was kept away from home and from taking care of her husband, who had suffered a stroke and was an invalid. The police often searched her home. Her entire family was affected and under constant pressure. Due to the prolonged persecution, Ms Wang's illnesses recurred. She died in July of 2001. -
Sixteen Dafa Practitioners Died Due to the Persecution
2005-06-28Ms. Sun Jihua, 64 years old, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Hebei Province. She started to practise at the end of 1996 and recovered from all of her diseases. In October 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, and the police arrested her. She was illegally held for more than ten days in a detention centre, and fined more than 1,000 yuan. After she returned home, officers from the local police station and the local community leaders visited her home and harassed her many times. She suddenly died in March 2002. -
Mrs Li Ling Died of Persecution Shortly After The United Nation's "Team for Investigating the Issue of Arbitrary Detention" Left China
2005-06-2751 year old Mrs. Li Ling peacefully appealed on behalf of Falun Dafa but was unjustly sentenced to one and a half years in prison. She was arrested again and was again unjustly sentenced to four years in prison. Li Ling was persecuted to death on November 17, 2004. Shortly before she was persecuted to death, from September 18th to the 30th, 2004, the United Nation's "Team for Investigating the Issue of Arbitrary Detention " came to China for an on-site inspection. At the time, Li Ling was suffering brutal torture and persecution, and the Chinese government not only lied about her condition, but also refused to arrange an interview between Lin Ling and the United Nation Investigation Team. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cao Jinxian of Shanghai City Died Due to the Persecution
2005-06-2748 year old Ms. Cao Jinxian remained firm in her cultivation of Falun Dafa. Because of this, she was persecuted by the Shanghai City police. They sentenced her to a forced labour camp without any legal process, where she was tortured. After being granted medical parole, Ms. Cao was forced to become homeless in early 2005 to avoid being persecuted further. Later, the police arrested her and brought her back home, where they monitored her closely. Her health deteriorated from that time onwards. Cao Jinxian died on June 18, 2005. -
Hebei Province Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Wang Houge Died after Long-term Persecution
2005-06-27Mr. Wang Houge was sent to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp where he suffered from all kinds of cruel tortures, because of his steadfast belief in Falun Dafa. To force him to renounce Falun Dafa he was tortured with the method called "tying the ropes" three times in the same day. In May 2002, the police released Mr. Wang to his family. He was by this time extremely skinny and frail. The police did not stop their constant harassment and intimidation of Mr. Wang and his family. After long-term persecution, Wang Houge died in May 2005. He was 42 years old. -
Five Elderly Practitioners in Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, and Shaanxi Provinces Pass Away as a Result of Persecution
2005-06-27Ms. Wang Yanling, a 72-year-old practitioner from Beijing, got rid of all of the illnesses that had bothered her for over 40 years after she learned Falun Gong. Every day, she happily told people how Falun Dafa had saved her, telling them that this was the reason she was in such good shape. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution of Falun Gong began, the local neighbourhood association and the police station repeatedly went to Ms. Wang's house to harass her and threaten her. They confiscated her Dafa books and materials, and forced her to go to a brainwashing class, which was quite a distance from her home. She was required to attend four times a day. At noon on November 24, 2004, the neighbourhood association went to her house again to harass her. Ms. Wang died that afternoon after the visit. -
Practitioner Ms. Jiang Shufang of Changchun Died after Her Younger Brother Was Persecuted to Death
2005-06-26After having suffered endless persecution, practitioner Ms. Jiang Shufang from Changchun City, Jilin Province, died on March 2, 2005. Her death was a result of injuries she received from electric shocks administered by police and exhaustion. Her younger brother Jiang Yong had suffered eight days of continuous torture and was persecuted to death on July 2, 2004. When the family saw his body, his neck, however, had ligature marks; and there were numerous blue and purple spots on his chest and back; both of his eyes were wide open; when his body was turned over, blood flowed from his mouth; his anus was padded with toilet paper. -
Inner Mongolian Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Shuyan Forced into Exile and Died; Husband and Daughter Detained
2005-06-26Forty-three-year old Ms. Wang Shuyan was a Falun Gong practitioner from Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia. In March 2004 she was arrested for practising Falun Gong. Later she escaped. After that, the police raided her home, took her husband and daughter away and posted a reward for her capture and arrest. Ms. Wang was compelled to go into exile. She died on March 1, 2005, due to the trauma from long-term persecution and having to live in exile. -
Supplementary Information on the Case of Elderly Mr. Guo Huailing Who Was Persecuted to Death in 2003
2005-06-2660 year old Mr. Guo Huailin was forcibly taken away from his home by local police officers in March 2002 and detained in a detention centre. There, the prison guards tortured him with the "Big Hang Up" for eighteen days, a torture method where with both hands cuffed behind the back and only the toes touching the ground, one is hung up by the arms by a rope. The guards also damaged Mr. Guo's teeth with a tool. He was sent to a forced labour camp in Heilongjiang Province in June 2002, where he suffered appalling persecution. Guo Huailing died in hospital on July 18, 2003. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Han Junmiao from Hebei Province Dies from Persecution
2005-06-2553 year old Ms Han Junmiao was severely persecuted between July 1999 and May of 2005 for her belief in and the practice of Falun Dafa. Over that period of time, the local 610 Office put her in Baoding City Mental Hospital, Baoding City Forced Labour Camp, the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp, Shijiazhuang City Forced Labour Camp, the Xiong County Brainwashing Class and the Baoding City Brainwashing Class. She endured harsh torture and still firmly believed in Falun Dafa. After she returned home, Ms. Han was still watched, monitored and harassed by the "610 Office." Han Junmiao passed away early in the morning on May 6, 2005. -
A Former Engineer from the Xi'an Aircraft Manufacturing Company Was Beaten to Death and His Wife Was Twice Detained in a Forced Labour Camp
2005-06-25Mr. Wang Weizhen, former senior engineer of the Xi'an Aircraft Manufacturing Company, was arrested by the police on September 1, 2002. Five days later he was beaten to death. During the same time period his wife, Mrs. Ma Jie, was tortured by police, who hung her off the floor and brutally beat her. She was forcefully brainwashed, detained to a forced labour camp, and officially confined to house detention. -
Nineteen Practitioners from Beijing, Jiangxi Province, Hunan Province, Shandong Province, Sichuan Province, and Other Areas, Died of Persecution
2005-06-25Ms. Sun Jiying, 69 years old, was a retired employee of Jiujiang Metre Plant, Jiangxi Province. In 2000, she was detained for almost a month for having gone to Beijing to appeal. When she was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution of Falun Gong in the neighbourhood of 707 Plant employees' residence, she was reported to the police and detained again. When she was released, the unlawful officials continuously interfered with her practice and study of Falun Dafa. Physically and mentally pained, she died at the end of October 2004. -
Nineteen Falun Gong Practitioners from Hebei, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan Province Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-06-25Ms. Tang Manyuan, 65 years old, lived in Hunan Province. She began to practise Falun Gong in 1997. Somebody reported her to the police. Therefore, policemen from the Daxiang Police Department and Security Office of the factory arrested her. The police transferred her to a number of detention places and beat her constantly. They beat her with bamboo sticks. Her entire body became swollen. When she returned home at the end of 2002, her head and face were swollen and her inner organs were severely injured. She passed away in the spring of 2003. -
Eleven Female Practitioners from Liaoning, Hebei, Henan and Hunan Provinces Pass Away as a Result of the Persecution
2005-06-2555 year old Ms. Wang Yu'e, lived in Liaoning Province. She started to practise Falun Dafa in 1996. In 1999, the authorities detained her twice for her belief, sending her to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labour Camp where she was severely persecuted. In 2000, the authorities at Masanjia called Ms. Wang's family and told them to get ready for her funeral. The labour camp released Ms. Wang to her family, and she slowly recovered from a critical state of health caused by the police torture, however, the local police still did not leave her alone and harassed her repeatedly. She died in August of 2004.
