Nine Falun Gong Practitioners from Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning and Jilin Provinces Die as a Result of Being Persecuted

Ms. Wang Xia, 36, lived in Guizhou Province. She had illnesses throughout her body before she learned Falun Gong, and became healthy after she began practising. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, policemen savagely beat Ms. Wang because she was steadfast in her Falun Gong practice. The beating broke her wrist and she was incarcerated for 15 days. After Ms. Wang returned home, her whole family regarded her as a bad person. People from the government monitored her, and personnel from her work unit went to talk with her and threaten her. Due to many forms of pressure, Ms. Wang's physical and mental state deteriorated. She died on March 29, 2003. -
Sun Jihong's Daughter, Sun Yubo, Learns the Truth of Her Father's Death

Sun Jihong and his wife both practised Falun Gong. Both were tortured to death, Sun Jihong in 2002 and his wife, Yuan Hezhen in 2003. Until recently their daughter Sun Yubo did not know the details of these horrible murders. Under the threat of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), her grandparents and other relatives feared telling her the truth of her father's death. -
More Details Surrounding the Death of Practitioner Mr Zhang Zhagen
2005-07-10Mr Zhang Zhagen was sent to the Kaifeng Medical College Hospital for emergency treatment. According to the doctors, Zhang Zhagen was nearly dead when he arrived at the hospital. The doctors did all they could. If he survived, they felt he would have remained in a vegetative state. The labour camp assigned a guard to police the entrance of the intensive care room 24 hours a day to prevent family members from visiting. On the night of June 27, 2005, he passed away. -
Ten Practitioners from Hebei, Jilin and Liaoning Provinces Persecuted to Death
2005-07-10Mr. Li Xiaodong was around 30 years old. In 2002, officials from the Siping City Public Security Bureau arrested practitioners on a large scale. Mr. Li Xiaodong and his brother were arrested at their home and sentenced to forced labour. They were detained and tortured in the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City. Because Mr. Li Xiaodong refused to renounce Falun Gong, the police ordered the inmates to beat him. An inmate hit him on the back of his neck so hard that he could no longer raise his head. His younger brother had to help him walk. His health deteriorated. The labour camp authorities feared to have to take responsibility for his death and released him. Mr. Li Xiaodong died one month later. -
More Information on the Torture Death of Practitioner Mr Liu Baoyuan
2005-07-09Mr. Liu Baoyuan was thirty-three years old. During the end of August and early September in 1999, he was detained at the Gaoli Town Police Station. He was brutally beaten every day during the interrogation, leaving wounds all over his body. In 2000 he was detained again. Upon his release he was forced to leave home to avoid recapture and further persecution. In September of 2002, when trying to escape from the police, he accidentally fell from the third floor and died. -
Five Practitioners in Liaoning and Heilongjiang Provinces Passed Away as a Result of Persecution
2005-07-09Ms. Yang Guizhi was seventy years old. Before practising Falun Gong, she was very weak and suffered from various diseases. After she started practising Falun Gong in 1998, all of her diseases were cured and her complexion became rosy. When Jiang Zemin's regime started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, she lost the environment for cultivation. In addition, witnessing her family members who also practise Falun Gong being brutally tortured, Ms. Yang was devastated mentally and physically. She suffered serious disease in 2003 and passed away in 2004. -
Ms. Jin Xiuqing Tortured to Death Within One Day of Arrest by Police Department Political Security Office in Liaoning Province
2005-07-08Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jin Xiuqing age 60, from Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province was tortured to death in little more than ten hours in Fengcheng City. On the afternoon of June 28, 2005, at around 3:00 p.m., the Political Security Office head Mr Guan Wei and another policeman arrested Ms. Jin while she was walking in her apartment hallway on her way home. It is estimated that Ms. Jin was tortured to death sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on June 29, 2005, while in police custody. Her family strongly requests that the killer be identified. Her body is still at the funeral home. -
Eleven Dafa Practitioners in Several Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution
2005-07-08Ms. Tian Xierong, 50, was a Dafa practitioner from Daqing, Heilongjiang Province. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution started, she was forced to stop practising. She then became seriously ill. Later, she started to practise Falun Dafa again. On June 25, 2000, Ms. Tian was arrested while doing the Falun Dafa exercises in a public park. She was detained for nearly two months in a detention centre, where she was made to suffer extreme mental and physical torture. After her release, she died in December 2002. -
Information on Five Practitioners Who Passed Away Due to Persecution
2005-07-08Ms. Cai Banghua, was a 30-year-old practitioner from Kunming City, Yunnan Province. She previously had a severe kidney disorder (nephropathy). After she began to practise Falun Gong in 1997, the nephropathy and all other symptoms of illness disappeared. In 1998, she was selected as the vice-director of a street committee and she performed her duties well and worked very hard. After the persecution started on July 20, 1999, the director, Zhang Hui, created much difficulty for her by increasing her workload and assigning tasks to her just when it was time to go home. He forced Ms. Cai to write "repentance letters" repeatedly. Finally, he forced Ms. Cai to resign from her position. Because Cai Banghua had no job, she experienced economic hardship on top of the mental suffering caused by the constant harassment. Thus, her old illness recurred and she died in June 2000. -
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhagen Tortured to Death in the Kaifeng City Forced Labour Camp
2005-07-07Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhagen was tortured to the brink of death in the Kaifeng City Forced Labour Camp in Henan Province. Although Mr. Zhang had gone on a hunger strike to protest the persecution he was subjected to at the forced labour camp, the officials and police guards there kept torturing him. At that time, Mr. Zhang Zhagen's bloodshot eyes were wide open, his face was swollen, and he had difficulty catching his breath. His arms were covered in purple bruises from the beatings he had received. He was sent to the Kaifeng City Medical Institute Hospital for emergency treatment on June 24, 2005. On the night of June 27, 2005, he died. -
How the 610 Office Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Wei Xingliang until He Died in Inner Mongolia
2005-07-07The "610 Office" in Chifeng City arrest practitioners and take them to a brainwashing centre, extort money from their townships or workplaces and use all kinds of other method to force them to give up their belief. Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wei Xingliang was arrested and sent to a brainwashing centre at least five times. He was severely persecuted to the point of a mental collapse. On May 24, 2005, when he was cleaning a balcony window, he fell from the fourth floor and died, at only 51 years old. -
Persecution Causes the Death of Eleven Falun Gong Practitioners from Jilin Province, Liaoning Province, Beijing, and Xinjiang Province
2005-07-07Ms. Gao Shulian, was a seventy-year-old lady. Someone informed the police while she was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. As a result, she was arrested and detained in a detention centre for 15 days. After she was released, she continued to tell people the truth about Falun Dafa and distribute leaflets. The police arrested her again and beat her while she was at the police station. Due to being extremely frightened, her health was affected. She suffered from serious illnesses and passed away in the latter half of 2004. -
Mr Fan Dacheng Was Tortured to the Brink of Death at the Changji Forced Labour Camp and Later Died
2005-07-06Mr. Fan Dacheng, a Falun Gong practitioner in his 50s, persisted in practising Falun Gong and telling people the truth about Falun Gong. As a result, he was persecuted many times. He was forced to perform high-intensity work for as long as 20 hours every day in a forced labour camp. Guards grossly abused him until he almost died; then a family member carried him home. He passed away on September 12, 2004. -
Five Falun Dafa Practitioners Die as a Result of the Persecution
2005-07-0670 year old Mr. Hou Hei was resident in Henan Province. He was a technician at the No. 1 Paper Mill of Tahe City. In 1999, Mr. Hou went to Beijing to appeal, after which the police arrested and took him to a brainwashing centre. After he was released, he went a second time to Beijing. The police arrested him again and took him to a brainwashing centre. The persecutors tortured and threatened him, and also ransacked his home many times, causing him intolerable stress. Mr. Hou died in 2004. -
Disabled Young Woman Persecuted to Death in Yunnan Province
2005-07-05
Police arrested Dafa practitioner Ms Yang Suhong and took her to the Yunnan Provincial Women's Forced Labour Camp in November 2004. During her six months in the labour camp, Yang Suhong was forced to participate in the same hard physical labour as other prisoners. After enduring enormous mental and physical torture, the innocent 24-year-old woman passed away on June 11, 2005.
