Persecution Suffered by Chen Anrui While He Was Alive

65-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Chen Anrui died while trying to rescue two elementary school students who were drowning in a water reservoir. For a long period of time Chen Anrui was persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party for insisting in his belief of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance". He was subjected to repeatedly having his house ransacked, being arrested, sent to detention centres, subjected to forced brainwashings, and torture. The Authorities Arrest, Torture, and Cause the Death of Mr. Chu Guilin of Changyi City, Shandong Province

Mr. Chu Guilin was a practitioner in Changyi City of Weifang, Shandong Province. On November 11th, 2005, he was arrested, and his home was searched because he informed people about the wrongful persecution of Falun Gong. In November 2005, he was sent to the Wangcun Forced Labour Camp. In November 2006, he was tortured until he became paralysed. He lost all sensation in his upper torso and he required assistance to live. On November 11th, 2006, those responsible for torturing him until he was disabled were afraid of being charged and released him. Six days later, he died. Mr. Chu Guilin was 56 years old. -
Older Ms. Guo Jingtai from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Died as a Result of Persecution-induced Mental Trauma
2007-07-2165-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Guo Jingtai was a teacher in the Tonglian Company school in Shihezi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (AR). She was savagely persecuted several times between January 2003 and November 2003. Agents of the 610 Office were responsible. She was mentally traumatised and developed a persecution-induced illness. She died on July 19th, 2005. -
Police Try to Cremate Zuo Zhigang's Body, Family Members Seek Another Autopsy
2007-07-20Mr. Zuo Zhigang, a Falun Gong practitioner in Shijiazhuang City, was a certified engineer for repairing computer monitors for Phillips Corporation. On May 31st, 2001, the day before his wedding, Zuo was taken away by police from the Qiaoxi District National Security Team of Qiaoxi District Police Department in Shijiazhuang City. He was tortured to death overnight at only thirty three years of age. His parents still keep the rooms that were prepared for the newlyweds. Zuo's ninety-year-old grandmother still believes her grandson will come home after he finishes his work overseas. His entire family is devastated by his death. -
Thirteen Falun Dafa Practitioners' Deaths from Torture in China Confirmed on May 2007 (Photos)

In May 2007, it was confirmed that 13 Falun Dafa practitioners in China died as a direct result of torture. Among these practitioners, nine died between January and May 2007, and three died in May. Among the victims, eight were women, representing 61.5 per cent of the total and ten were over 50 years of age, representing 76.9 per cent of the total. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Huiqi from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, was paralysed in 2002 from torture at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp. She died on April 27th, 2007, at the age of 40, after enduring five years of excruciating pain. -
Police Arrest and Kill Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wang Minli from Jilin City, Jilin Province

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Minli was arrested on March 15th, 2007 by the Changyi District Police Department and National Security agents savagely beat and tortured her. They poured a bottle of spicy mustard oil into her eyes, causing blindness in one eye. They also broke one of her legs by beating her with wooden sticks and she became disabled. Later they sent her to Jilin City Detention Centre. Wang Minli passed away on the way to the hospital on June 19th, 2007. She was 43 years old. -
Ms. Tang Xingyun, 65, Tortured to Death by 10 Policemen in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province
2007-07-17At eight o'clock in the evening, March 10th, 2007, policemen from Shashan Police Station abducted Tang Xingyun, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Someone had tipped the police that Tang had been seen distributing leaflets exposing the persecution in the area. She had only handed out two copies. Ten thuggish policemen shocked her with eight electric batons, and the 65-year-old lady died in the police station before she could utter a word. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Jiang Bai Dies after Persecution in Daqing Detention Centre in Heilongjiang Province

Ms. Jiang Bai, age 30, was a staff member of the Daqing Main Petroleum Industry. She was forced from her job in October 2000 because she firmly held to her practice of Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang had been homeless, was arrested and persecuted many times. On April 26th, 2007, she was arrested at her work place by the Daqing Public Security Bureau, Wolitun Subdivision, and held in the Daqing Detention Centre. She began a hunger strike against the persecution and was force-fed against her will. During the brutal force-feeding, Ms. Jiang vomited, coughed blood and passed out. Jiang Bai passed away on June 28th, 2007. -
Mr. Kong Xiangzhu from Heilongjiang Province Tortured to Death

On the evening of May 1st, 2002, police officers deceived Mr. Kong Xiangzhu into going to a construction site and arrested him. They claimed he had been involved in tapping into cable TV to broadcast the truth about the persecution. When his family heard he was being resuscitated in a hospital, they rushed to the hospital, but he was already in an operating room. His whole body was covered with bruises, and his back had been burned due to electric baton shocks. The flesh around his neck had separated from his bones. In June 2006, Mr. Kong was diagnosed with severe tuberculosis. Mr. Kong Xiangzhu died on June 23rd, 2007. -
Left Paralysed by Torture, Practitioner Ms. Dou Suli from Shandong Province Dies an Untimely Death
2007-07-12Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dou Suli from Juancheng County, Heze City, Shandong Province was arrested. Participating in the arrest were officers from Juancheng County Police Department and the 610 Office. By the time of her release on October 7th, 2006, she had lost all feeling and was disabled, despite medical treatments. She could not speak and lost the ability to take care of herself because of paralysis in the right side of her body. She passed away on May 25th, 2007. -
Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Persecution of Gong Huadong from Shandong Province and Her Family
2007-07-12Ms. Gong Huadong was sentenced to two years in a forced labour camp. On June 26th, 2001, she was taken to the First Women's Prison of Shandong Province. The policemen from Mengyin County who escorted her to prison pocketed the 500 yuan she was carrying. At the prison, Ms. Gong suffered both mental and physical tortures. In February 2005, she was arrested again. When Ms. Gong was imprisoned, her husband Mr. Yang Mintong was traumatised. He drank a lot due to depression. Before long, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and passed away three months after the diagnosis. His death is not unrelated to the persecution. -
Chengdu City (Sichuan Province) Procuratorate Responsible for the Death of Ms. Zhao Zhongling, Who Was Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labour While on Her Death Bed

On May 8th, 2007, the second day after the Chengdu City Procuratorate hoodwinked, arrested, and finally killed Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhao Zhongling, police went to Ms. Zhao's residence and announced a three-year forced labour prison sentence. Ms. Zhao's family members, who had just lost a loved one, were upset, "They tortured and killed her, and now they are sentencing her to forced labour?" -
Mrs. Gao Caifeng from Dalian City, Liaoning Province Passed Away While Her Children Were Repeatedly Persecuted
2007-07-08Mrs. Gao Caifeng, mother of Falun Dafa practitioner Zhou Meihua from Dalian City Liaoning Province, died from a cerebral hemorrhage on June 23rd, 2007. Her biggest wish before her death was to see her children. When she was conscious and heard that her daughter Zhou Meihua was coming, she laughed, but the old lady's wish was never fulfilled. After her daughter Zhou Meihua was abducted to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp on April 17th, 2007, Mrs. Gao Caifeng went to Masanjia twice to request her release. The first time she was allowed to visit her daughter. Her daughter had been tortured so severely that she was disfigured, and the old lady felt the pain. -
Police Arrest and Cause the Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wang Minli from Jilin City, Jilin Province

Four Practitioners Died as a Result of Persecution
2007-07-0671-year-old Ms. Zhang Jinrong, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province, went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa in May 2000 and was arrested by the police at the Shuangcheng Train Station. The next day she was taken to a detention centre, where she was held for half a month. While she was detained, she suffered terrible physical and psychological injuries. She never recovered after her release and passed away in September 2000. She was only 44 years old.
