  • Prison Guard: "I Can Kill You Any Way I Want, and Report that You Committed Suicide"

    The Qingdao Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province has been persecuting practitioners since July 20, 1999. They set up a special unit just to torture practitioners. Every night, there were sounds of wailing, beatings and verbal abuse that kept people up all night. They gathered them up and sent them to brainwashing classes. A prison guard said to the practitioners, "I can kill you any way I want, and report that you committed suicide."
  • Former Cancer Patient Ms. Hong Lixian Arrested Five Times and Subjected to Relentless Persecution

    Ms. Hong Lixian was a terminal cancer patient. After practising Falun Gong, she regained her health. Even the medical experts who performed her surgery admitted that Falun Gong has an amazing healing effect. However, exactly because of her perseverance in cultivation, she was arrested five times. As a result, her physical condition declined, and she was sent to the hospital wearing foot shackles. Despite the seriousness of her illness, she had to be carried by her husband to the court to receive a sentence of three years in prison. The judge said that the ruling was not from his own will but rather orders from above, because he could do nothing.

    In September 2004, police sent Mr. Li Shaotie to the Shuihua Forced Labour Camp. Within two days they began to torture him. Guards kicked Mr. Li in his legs over 100 times, from top to bottom, using their military shoes. One guard shouted at him, "Do you still want to practise?" Mr. Li replied, "Yes." The guard then ground on Mr. Li's toenail with the heel of his shoes. Fresh blood spurted from his foot and two of his toenails were torn off. Mr. Li fainted.
  • Shibalihe Women's Forced Labour Camp Lied about the Death of Ms. Sun Guilan

    The forced labour camp personnel forbade others to speak to nearly 60 year old Ms. Sun and ordered her to do heavy labour, which placed tremendous mental and physical pressure on her. One morning, she went early as usual to clean the toilets and she fainted next to a water pond outside the garage. She must have passed away because the camp personnel spread the rumour that she committed suicide because of guilt. Practitioners, however, investigated and found that she did not commit suicide but from the persecution of Zhengzhou Forced Labour Camp instead.
  • Ms. Lou Yan Suffered Persecution Nine Times Before Passing Away

    Ms. Lou Yan, a determined Falun Gong practitioner from the Tiexi District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, was detained ten times. She was sent to a mental hospital and forcibly injected with drugs. She was tortured to disability and to the brink of death many times. Later, the perpetrators sent the disabled Ms. Lou to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison (former Dabei Prison) at Shenyang City for a five-year term. Ms. Lou was tortured to the brink of death in the prison. To avoid responsibility in case she died in prison, the prison allowed her to serve the rest of her term outside of prison...
  • Disabled Elderly Female Practitioner Faces Sham Trial in Shenyang City

    On January 31, 2005, the Tiexi District Court of Shenyang City conducted a sham trial of 65 year old Ms. Shi Shengying. She attempted to explain how she had benefited from Falun Dafa and she was being inhumanly persecuted for her belief, when the judge interrupted her, "Do not talk about these things. Just say whether you spread propaganda about Falun Gong in the park." He quickly announced, "That is the end of the hearing. A sentence will be announced on a selected date after a court discussion."
  • The Tragedy of Ms. Jia Xueyun from Hebei Province

    Ms. Jia Xueyun is in her 40's. Ms. Jia's friends and family knew that she was perfectly healthy before she was incarcerated in Kaiping Forced Labour Camp. In just three months, her weight dropped from 143 lbs to 66 lbs. Every friend and relative that came to see her could not help bursting into tears and felt indignant at the injustice perpetrated against her. Ms. Jia Xueyun was nothing but skin and bones when she was finally brought home. In fact, she was hardly breathing.
  • Family of Practitioner Mr. Wang Bingwen Demand His Release from Qingdao City Forced Labour Camp

    Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Bingwen has been persecuted in Qingdao City Forced Labour Camp for a long time. After discussion, Mr. Wang's family members decided to go to the forced labour camp to firmly request his release. On February 3, 2005, eleven of his family members went there. Not only did they request to see their relative, but they also demanded his release. Although the police tried to arrest the family, they managed to escape.

    This is a torture reenactment: Hung Up and Beaten. Prisoners wrap the Falun Gong practitioner in a bed sheet, so their injuries won't be visible, and hang him from a door or a window. Then the whole group surrounds him, beating him savagely with wooden clubs. When the practitioner loses consciousness, prisoners splash cold water on him.

    The guards at Xishanping selected the strongest and most merciless prisoners from the 8,000 in their charge (of which more than 90% are convicted drug addicts) to perform violent acts for them, and utilized them to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Currently, a few dozen practitioners are still being held at Xishanping. One of these addicts said, "It is a living hell there."

  • After 9 Days in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp, Gaurds Killed Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Zhang Hong

    In July 2004 Ms. Zhang Hong was incarcerated in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. The guards used vicious torture to try to force her to renounce her belief in Truthfulness- Compassion - Tolerance, to no avail. She went on a hunger strike to protest her unjust treatment and was brutally force-fed. Before her death Ms. Zhang Hong cried out, "I don't want to die!" She was tortured to death only nine days after entering Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. After her death her family saw that her body had lost almost forty pounds, and her own waste was found in her pants.
