I Witnessed Wu Baowang's Death Due to Torture at the Shuangcheng City Detention Centre

"I witnessed the murder of practitioner Mr. Wu Baowang at the hands of guards in the Shuangcheng Detention Centre. I was arrested and sent to the Shuangcheng City Detention Centre, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. Wu Baowang was also detained there. In fact, there was only one cell between his and mine. His cell number was 6 and mine was 8. On May 15, 2002, I heard continuous, heart-breaking screams coming from Wu Baowang's cell. At the beginning the sound was loud, but later it became weaker and weaker. I heard him say, "You are doing this to kill me! You don't want me to live!" Later, it was completely quiet." -
Three Practitioners, Including a 16-Year-Old, Forced into Slave Labour
2005-05-20Shancheng County Police Station authorities sent three practitioners to the Henan Second Prison in Henan Province without any legal procedures or legal documents. 16 year old Yang Shuguang has since been forced to do rigorous hard labour, including working on a big furnace. The prisoners are divided into teams, and those who refuse to work are randomly beaten with thick wooden boards by the team supervisors. Prison staff and supervisors tie practitioners up and shock them with electric batons at will. -

2005-05-19"My name is Nie Yingchao. I am a 10th grade student. I used to be in the class of Literature and Arts at the Yinan County 2nd High School in Shandong Province. Near the end of 2004, I was in my 10th grade class, one evening during self-study period, when my teacher who was heavily misguided by the lies and propaganda against Falun Gong, suddenly became furious and flew into a rage. He wanted me to leave school. My teacher then slapped my face once, and announced to the class that nobody was allowed to discuss Falun Gong. Anyone doing so would be subject to expulsion from school. Against my will I was abducted from school by "610 Office" agents and expelled, just because I believe in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance." -
"610 Office" Collaborates With Police to Persecute Practitioners, Terrorising an Elderly Grandmother and Her Grandson in Jiamusi City
2005-05-18In April 2002, "610 Office" officials in Jiamusi City came up with a sinister plan to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Five of them ended up arresting a group of practitioners, including an elderly lady of 80 and a child of just 2 years old. The child was panic-stricken when he saw so many policemen shouting demands at his grandmother. He hugged his grandmother's neck and buried his head deeply, not daring to look up again. The policemen struggled to prise the child away from his grandmother and eventually they were separated, with the poor child howling and crying. -

After that, she was on the verge of death several times. The labour camp again ordered me to pay money and also to turn in my sister in exchange for my mother. How terrible their words were! My sister had just been recovering from her brush with death, and my mother's life was in extreme danger. How could I choose between them? The experience was terribly painful. -

2005-05-13The team leader of the Third Unit in Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp orders drug addicts to watch the steadfast practitioners in the unit and to assist in their ongoing torture. Many practitioners are locked in a small room and forced to stand or hold their arms in the air for long periods of time. They are also deprived of sleep and toilet privileges. The drug addicts force practitioners into absurd positions, making them cram their heads under a small stool. Sometimes practitioners are also forced to stand naked outdoors on winter nights. -

2005-05-11I resisted the unjust persecution by not signing my name on the "repentance statement". Additionally, I went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. A group of inmates who were led by the guard slapped my face and beat my chest with their fists. A few inmates surrounded me and kicked me. They forced my head into the toilet; and, after three times of being held under, my will was broken and I gave up my hunger strike. Now, I really have experienced how brutal this persecution is and why this persecution has cast such a huge shadow of terror. It has taken months for me to gradually eliminate the terror I have experienced. -
Is a Court that Judges "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance" Illegal a Qualified Court?
2005-05-11Because five other Falun Gong practitioners and I appealed to a higher court for justice over unjust sentences, we were brought to trial together. I was charged with distributing "reactionary" leaflets containing the words "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" and I was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. The court, the Procuratorate, and police collaborated to distort and exaggerate the facts in my trial. They counted up the pages of material bound into books and decided that any page with "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" was an "illegal leaflet." I asked, "How can just these few words 'Truth, Compassion, Forbearance' on a page qualify it as a 'reactionary leaflet'?" The judge answered, "'Truth, Compassion, Forbearance' is evil by itself." -
Police from Shandong Railroad System Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners Using Despicable Means
2005-05-07Shandong Province began a second large-scale arrest directed at Falun Gong practitioners and implemented a form of martial law. This spread to the railroad system, where officials used despicable means to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. At the entrance and exit of every railroad station in Shangdong Province, the police set up computers, and on-call officers are present around the clock. Most of these officers came from prisons and labour camps. They force any passenger that they suspect to be a Falun Gong practitioner to show his or her ID. -
Hebei Province Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Yan Haibo Killed by the "610 Office", the Public Security and Baoding Forced Labour Camp
2005-05-05Mr. Yan Haibo, a 33 year old practitioner was arrested several times for appealing for Falun Gong. At the end of July 2002, he was kidnapped and taken to the police station, where he was severely tortured. Later he was detained for two and a half years at a forced labour camp, where the cruel torture continued. Because of the constant, long-term pressure from such terror tactics, Mr. Yan's spirit was broken. By late February 2005, Mr. Yan's physical health had deteriorated beyond repair. A hospital in Beijing diagnosed him as having kidney failure, cerebral oedema, and haemorrhaging in the eye. He died on March 31, 2005. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Wang Jinbo and Others Were Brutally Persecuted in the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp -- Part I
2005-05-02Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Jinbo is in his 40s and is a loan manager at a Construction Bank in Jilin Province. In August 2002, police officers arrested Mr. Wang at his workplace because he practises Falun Gong. He was sentenced to three years of forced labour. In October 2002, Mr. Wang was sent to the Chaoyanggou Labour Camp in Changchun City, where he suffered inhuman torture and cruel persecution.
