Falun Gong Practitioners Are Still Being Brutally Tortured at the Tangshan City Forced Labour Camp
2005-02-06Falun Gong practitioners are still being tortured at the Tangshan City Forced Labour Camp in Hebei Province. On March 18, 2004, practitioners detained there held a group protest calling for the police to stop the physical abuse and respect the human rights of practitioners. Instead of respecting their request, the labour camp police launched another round of brutal persecution and torture of practitioners. Guards twisted one man's hands behind his back, and then used a rope saturated with water to tie him very tightly. At the same time, they raised his hands up to the back of his head. Each rope torture session lasted for about 15 minutes and this man was in his 60's. -
Two Hundred Practitioners on Hunger Strike to Protest Severe Torture and Inhumane Treatment at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2005-02-05More shocking events, on top of earlier reported events, are occurring at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. To "transform" practitioners, the camp is notorious for torturing Falun Gong practitioners, who are good people and live by the principles of "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." To protest the persecution, almost 200 practitioners went on a hunger strike demanding to be released unconditionally. On January 8, 2005, practitioners had been on hunger strike for 10 days. -
A Former Judge's Experience at Nanmusi Women's Labour Camp
2005-02-05Ms. Pan Xiaojiang, 40 years old, is a lawyer. Over the past 5 years, she has suffered from the persecution, causing great harm to her mind and body. She was dismissed from her job, sentenced three times to forced labour camps for a total of three and a half years and detained in jail for 29 months. Guards beat her, causing her to lose consciousness. One time she was unconscious for 21 days. -

2005-02-04The Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province is the so-called "model" for Chinese labour camps where Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted. The 743 Falun Gong practitioners currently detained there are being tortured physically and mentally, and have been deprived of their livelihoods. In 2004 alone, there were many cases in which Falun Gong practitioners, after being tortured, became disabled, suffered mental collapse, and some have even died. -

Practitioner Mr Yang Guang Transferred to a Labour Camp Prison from the "Nude Area" of Jilin Prison
2005-02-02Mr Yang Guang's legs were broken when he was cruelly beaten by the Labour Camp Prison guards in Jilin Province. He has been intensively monitored by criminal inmates and guards. During the winter months, the temperature falls below minus 25o Celsius (minus 20o Fahrenheit) in northeastern China. For several years, Yang Guang had been held in the "nude area" of Jilin Prison in Jilin province, where he was forbidden to wear any trousers. No words are able to express his great physical and mental suffering. -

Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners Permeates Every Aspect of Life in Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp
2005-01-29The Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp provides a good example of the how the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners permeates every aspect of life in China's labour camps. The labour camp provided only two meals a day. Generally, nobody got enough to eat. Meals were made using coarse grain, which is actually animal fodder. For six months, one of the daily meals would be porridge made from the coarse grain. For another six months, both of the daily meals were steamed bread made from the coarse grain, along with frozen Chinese cabbage and salty rutabaga soup (which is served year-round). -
Cruel Treatment of Practitioners at Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2005-01-28Because she persisted in practising Falun Gong, Ms Jia Quanmei was locked up in a solitary confinement cell over 40 days in early 2004. She was forced to stand and deprived of sleep. She was handcuffed extremely tight until her bones were nearly exposed. After she was released from the solitary confinement cell, Jia Quanmei became very weak. She was then locked separately in a room with two criminal prisoners, monitoring her. Under the instigation of a guard, a criminal pressed Jia Quanmei's head into a commode and forced her to drink urine. -
Dalian City Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province -- Deceptive, Wicked and Violent
2005-01-27The new regulations for the officials that were formulated in the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp in July, 2003 state that, "No one is allowed to beat, swear, physically punish, or insult at will the people who are being reeducated through forced labour in the camp." However, the opposite is in fact enforced. The guards regard the practitioners' lives as worthless while they pursue their bonuses, reputations, and benefits. -
The Guards of Masanjia Forced Labour Camp are Losing Hope and the Evil Persecution is Coming to an End
2005-01-26Practitioners who have just been released from Masanjia Forced Labour Camp brought us the latest news about the camp situation. Within the short time between December of 2004 and the beginning of 2005, more than two hundred practitioners wrote a "solemn declaration" and announced that the "transformation" forced upon them through brainwashing was invalid, and began to practise Falun Gong again. These huge changes in Masanjia demonstrate a new trend in the persecution. -
The Brutality of Wangcun Forced Labour Camp
2005-01-26From September to October 2000, Jiang Zemin's regime sent many Falun Gong practitioners from Shandong Province to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp for persecution. In a meeting with practitioners, a police leader said openly, "It is our job to persecute you. You are the subjects of our dictatorship." There is a room in the camp is a room for electric shock torture, equipped with many electric batons. When nine practitioners were brought there for torture, the police stripped off their clothes. Then they handcuffed them to a steel pole that was fixed to the floor. More than a dozen policemen took turns to shock them. -
Tai'an City Police Inject Three Female Practitioners with Nerve-Damaging Drugs
2005-01-25Tai'an City police abducted Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Song Furong, Ms. Song Qi'ai, and Ms. Qu Beibei. On September 23 2004, the Court sentenced Song Qi'ai to a 9-year term of imprisonment while Song Furong and Qu Beibei were sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment. The practitioners appealed, but the Court maintained the original unlawful verdict. Before the practitioners were sent to the Jinan Women Prison, they were injected with nerve-damaging drugs. After that, their tongues were stiff and numb, and they drooled constantly. They wanted to speak, but were unable to say even one word clearly. -
610 Office Behind the Torture Death of a 60-year-old Practitioner and the Arrest of Many Others
2005-01-23On the evening of December 27, 2004, agents of the 610 Office in Xiamen City, Fujian Province and local police officers arrested several dozen Falun Dafa practitioners. A 60-year-old female practitioner, whose last name was Gu, was tortured to death that night; the details are still being investigated.
