UK: Around 1,000 People Enjoyed the Falun Gong Performance at Brighton Art Festival

Two days after the Art Festival, the organiser congratulated the practitioners on their performance. In the meantime, the practitioners were invited to take part in another Art Festival. No doubt this is another great opportunity to let more people know about Falun Dafa, the practice based on Truthfulness, Kindness and Tolerance, and the brutal persecution of practitioners in China. -
Austria: Practitioners get together to Study the Fa and Send Forth Righteous Thoughts

From August 8th to 10th, Austrian practitioners gathered together to study Zhuan Falun [the main text of Falun Gong], send forth righteous thoughts and share their thoughts and understandings with one another. On Sunday morning, the practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises in Amstetten Park, where a practice site is to be set up in the near future. -
Slovakia: Celebrating Falun Gong Week by Touring Several Cities

Many people stopped and silently watched the exercises, read information about the persecution and signed a petition to bring dictator Jiang Zemin, who started the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, to justice. Sometimes there was even a queue of people, both young and old, waiting to sign the petition. -
UK: Practitioners Celebrate the First UK Falun Dafa Day with the People of Birmingham

'Pedestrians soon crowded around them to watch the performance. Whenever each performance was finished, they would applaud enthusiastically. They were very interested when the practitioners demonstrated the exercises. When they received leaflets, they would ask about the locations of local practice sites and express their intention to learn Falun Gong.' -

Belgium: Falun Gong Practitioners in Brussels hold a “Big Trial” of Jiang Zemin

The “Sue Jiang Trial” featured many Dafa practitioners who have suffered brutal persecution at the hands of Jiang’s regime, playing their real selves. Among them were Chinese practitioners who have been through cruel persecution in Chinese labour camps, and western practitioners who received ill-treatment just for peacefully calling for an end to the persecution and going to Tiananmen Square. -

They were shocked when they read in the leaflets about Jiang Zemin’s persecution against Falun Gong. Sweden: Practitioner’s Speech Celebrating the 5th Year of Falun Dafa in Kalmar

Five years ago in August 1998, more than thirty Kalmar citizens joined the city’s first Falun Gong class. We, Falun Gong practitioners in Kalmar, are very grateful to have the opportunity to practise the exercises freely in Kalmar City Park, unlike out fellow practitioners in China. On the 9th August, we celebrated the fifth anniversary. -

The annual Harbour Festival was held in Arvika city.On the Saturday evening, the Arvikan government gave Dafa practitioners 150 large candles to frame three Chinese characters: “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance”. These words illuminated the Harbour Festival and people’s hearts. -
Belgium: Media continues to Show Great Interest in the Lawsuit against Jiang

Since the press conference held on 20th August, the Belgian media has continued to show great interest in the lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. A local practitioner was invited to join a national TV station’s live question programme, while another district TV station interviewed a practitioner at his home. -
Latvia: National TV Channel 2 Screened a Truth-clarifying Video about Falun Gong

On the 23rd August 2003, Latvia’s national TV Channel 2 screened the film “Falun Dafa – The Path of Returning to the True Origin for Humankind” at 12:50pm. This allowed many Latvian people to learn more about Falun Gong. -
Belgium: Major International Media pay attention to the Lawsuit against Jiang
2003-08-26On August 20th, six Falun Gong practitioners officially submitted a lawsuit to the Belgian federal court against Jiang Zemin for crimes against humanity and genocide. Major international media expressed their concern over the lawsuit including CNN, The Guardian, Reuters, AFP, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. -
Sweden: People in Arvika City come to learn the Truth about Falun Gong

Because Dafa practitioners have worked hard to allow local people, the local government and the organisers of the festival to know the truth about Falun Gong, they were personally invited to join this big festival. The Falun Gong practitioners’ exercise demonstration and free Falun Gong exercise classes were arranged on each of the two days as part of the festival's main schedule. -
UK: Letting People know the Truth on the Streets of Cardiff, the Capital of Wales

Many people slowed down to read the boards with interest. Some people read the display boards and said that they felt indignant at the injustice and did not realize that such violations of human rights are still taking place in China. They said that without this Dafa activity, it would be difficult for them to learn the real situation from the media.
