The banners, pictures, and lighted candles to mourn this hero attracted the attention of many passers-by. Many people received flyers, asked questions, and signed their names on the signature petition form. They were angry at what happened to Liu Chengjun and could not understand why a government would persecute innocent people. -
Ireland: Dafa practitioners Commemorate the Death of Liu Chengjun in front of the Chinese Embassy

Liu Chengjun was recently tortured to death because he interrupted a cable TV broadcast to play a video exposing the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. The Irish practitioners called for severe punishment of the wicked policemen, the murderers and the primary instigator of the persecution, Jiang Zemin. Two major Irish newspapers sent reporters to cover this important event. -
Finland: High School Students Learn about Falun Gong and the Persecution

Many schools in Finland have contacted Falun Gong practitioners and asked them to come to talk about Falun Gong. Reactions from teachers and students have always been good and the teachers have asked practitioners to come again on many occasions. A teacher from one school in the county of Kirkkonummi asked a practitioner to come and tell the students in two classes about the practice of Falun Gong. -

On New Year’s Day, we introduced Falun Dafa and clarified the facts in a well known district of Prague. At every intersection, tourists gathered and practitioners handed them materials. There were also some people who had not learned about Falun Gong, but when they heard the facts they were shocked and wished practitioners success. -

A few tourists from Mainland China took pictures of practitioners when they saw the Falun Gong exercise demonstration. One western practitioner gave them a leaflet and told of his experiences and the benefits he received from practising Falun Gong. The Chinese tourists nodded and said that they also knew Dafa is good, but they did not know what to do about the situation in China. -

Over the past five years, practitioners have handed out tens of thousands of copies of Dafa materials. Practitioners have also talked with thousands of passersby. The lawsuits filed against Jiang worldwide and the ongoing efforts to bring Jiang to justice in people's hearts, and in a court of law have also been emphasised and brought to people's attention. -
Greece: Introducing Falun Dafa in Athens

Over the Christmas holidays, a few practitioners from Scandinavia travelled to Athens in Greece to help the Falun Gong practitioners there introduce Falun Dafa to the locals. Many people stopped to watch the demonstration and took flyers as well as learned more about Falun Gong. People also learned more about the persecution taking place in China. -
Russia Dafa Practitioners Participate in the "2003 Sarov Symposium"
2004-01-01On December the 10th 2003, International human rights day, the annual “Sarov Symposium” was held in St. Petersburg. Human rights organisations, city congressmen and the media attended the symposium. Representatives of the Russian Falun Dafa Association were also invited to attend and to give a report about Falun Dafa. After learning the facts, those in attendance were “deeply shocked”.
