  • Appreciative Audience Gives Divine Performing Arts Standing Ovation in London

    The opening night of Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour at the New London Theatre, was lauded with a standing ovation on Tuesday, March 3. The discerning West End audience responded very enthusiastically to every single piece in the DPA show, warmly applauding the dance solos and loudly cheering as they rose to a long standing ovation for the two curtain calls.
  • United Kingdom: Londoners Respond Enthusiastically To Divine Performing Arts!

    Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour brought the New London Theatre alive with the sights and sounds of ancient China on Tuesday March 3rd, and Londoners appreciatively responded with a standing ovation at the end of the show.
  • Turkey: The 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance International Art Exhibition' Amazes in Turkey

    From January 10th-22nd, 2009, the Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance International Art Exhibition was successfully held in Mersin City, Turkey. During the twelve days of the exhibition, it caused quite a sensation among local residents. It was not uncommon to see visitors’ eyes brimming with tears while looking at the paintings.
  • Ukraine: “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” Art Exhibition Successfully Held

    On January 12th, 2009, the “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” International Art Exhibition was held in the Ukraine capital Kiev for the first time. The exhibition attracted many people. Quite a few local media came to report the event. Twenty-two artworks were displayed in this exhibition.
  • European Dance Professionals Marvel at Divine Performing Arts Shows

    From February to April 2008, Divine Performing Arts (DPA) put on 45 shows in 18 cities across 13 countries in Europe, which brought 5,000 years of Chinese traditional culture to Europe. Many dancers in the audience, such as principal ballet dancer at the Austrian National Opera House Mr. Gregor Hatala (on the right in the picture), found the beautiful forms and superb techniques of DPA artists refreshing.
  • France: Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party

    On November 30th, Falun gong practitioners went to Lyon to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises and distributed leaflets to passersby.
  • Germany: “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” International Art Exhibition in Berlin

    On October 24th, a Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition opened to the public in Berlin. The exhibition includes more than 20 paintings and sculptures by artists from all over the world with different backgrounds. The common feature is that all these artists are Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Denmark: “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” Art Exhibition

    From July 23rd to July 30th, the “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” Art Exhibition was held in Copenhagen for the first time. This art exhibition was co-hosted by the Danish Falun Gong Association and the Danish North European Asia Art Association, displaying about twenty works of art.

    Mr. Jorgenssen expressed his support to the Falun Gong’s principles of “Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance”. He also recommends people to read the "Nine commentaries on the communist party" from the Epoch Times. “It can help you to understand the communist party's true face” Said Jorgenssen.
  • Sweden: A Nostalgic Look Back at Mr Li Hongzhi Teaching Falun Dafa in Sweden

    On April 6th 1995, the founder of Falun Dafa Master Li Hongzhi came to Sweden and hosted five public lectures. From April 14th to April 20th. Master Li held the second overseas Falun Gong study class at Nordgarden in Gothenburg. This class became the last one where Master Li personally taught Falun Gong. At that time, most participants of the class were westerners.

  • Germany: Divine Performing Arts Closes European Tour with Successful Performance in Munich

    Divine Performing Arts presented its last performance in Europe on April 19th, 2008. In all, Divine Performing Arts presented 45 shows in 18 European cities. When Qi Xiaochun, the Erhu instrumentalist, played the last note, the people were so deeply engaged by the music that there was a moment of silence before she was greeted with thunderous applause. Many people lined up to buy tickets before the performance and hoped they would not miss it.
  • Germany: "The Chinese Spectacular Brought China to the West in a Positive Manner"

    Ms. Pfoehler said that the show "brought the land of China in a more positive manner to the West." Up until now, she saw China as a military type environment, which was highly disciplined. This show brought another side of China to her attention -- the artistic side, somehow playful with a completely different trait. "This was such a strong contrast to what I ever imagined," said Pfoehler.
  • Germany: Two Teachers Talk About the Chinese Spectacular

    Teacher Claudia Kolitz and her mother Berta Bürger watched the matinee of the Divine Performing Arts show on April 19th. They both frequently attend the theatre and came to the Prinzregenten Theatre in Munich on Saturday, where the troupe from New York staged the last performance of their European Tour. They had learned about the show through a newspaper article.
