Sixty-Six-Year-Old Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Mao Rulun from Jiangxi Province, Passes Away as a Result of Persecution

Mr. Mao Rulun was from the province of Jiangxi. He was sixty-six years old. In December 2000, he was abducted and taken to Jiujiang city's Labour Camp, where he was brutally tortured with the torture method of "hanging". When he was released, he was in such bad condition that he was unable to recover. He passed away on February 11, 2004. -
More Information Concerning the Persecution and Death of Practitioner Mr. Cui Fengqi
2004-11-17Mr. Cui Fengqi, 40 years old, was employed at the Coking and Gas Production Plant of the Tangshan Steel Corporation in Hebei Province. because he was a Falun Dafa practitioner his workplace harassed him, unlawfully searched his home, monitored him, detained him, humiliated him in public and sent him to a detention centre and brainwashing centre. This awful treatment caused Mr. Cui Fengqi physical and mental anguish, causing him to become disabled and finally he died on October 15, 2004. -
Wife's Story of How practitioner Li Liang Died in 2003
2004-11-17"In September, the detention centre informed me that my husband, Li Liang was sentenced to three years of forced labour in the Sanshui Forced Labour Camp. At around 8 o'clock on November 23 of that year, a man from Sanshui Forced Labour Camp called and informed me that Li Liang was very ill. They asked us to go there immediately. That night we went to Sanshui People's Hospital. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Li Liang. My son said he didn't know this man. He didn't look like his father but like an old man. He was only 45 years old. On the last day of his life, he cried out: "It hurts so much." He couldn't eat or drink water, nor could he excrete. He couldn't rest still either lying down or sitting up. One can imagine how painful and helpless he was. He died the following day." -
More Information about the Death of Mr. Song Wenhua, a Practitioner from Jilin Province
2004-11-17Mr. Song Wenhua, a 56-year-old railroad employee in Tonghua City, Jinlin Province, went to Hulutao Town to spread the truth about Falun Dafa during the SARS epidemic in 2003. He was arrested by the county government and sent to Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp, where he was subjected to terrible persecution. On October 8, 2004, the labour camp released himbecause he was dying and they could not treat his condition. Song Wenhua left the world on the night of October 17. -
More Information on the Death of Ms. Gao Shuqin, a Practitioner from Heilongjiang Province in March 2004
2004-11-16Ms. Gao Shuqin, 51, was a teacher in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. She was named as an outstanding teacher of Daqing City. Between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. on March 27, 2004, Ms. Gao accidentally fell from a building whilst trying to climb down a sheet so as to escape unlawful arrest by the police. She died soon after. -
Belated News: Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Chongqing Die During the Persecution
2004-11-16Mr. Nie Jiheng, in his sixties, lived in Chongqing City. He was detained at a detention centre in May 2003 and died soon after. The police fabricated a lie, saying that he had committed suicide by jumping from the building. Before dying, Mr. Nie wrote a note to his wife on a scrap of paper, "I hope the truth will be exposed on the Internet that my death was a direct result of the persecution." -
How Two Practitioners Were Killed as a Result of Persecution in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2004-11-15This is an eyewitness account by a detainee in the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp Hospital. She witnessed the persecution of practitioners Ms. Liu Limei, Ms. Fu Guilan, and Ms. Wu Yajie between 2002 and 2004. During their imprisonment in the labour camp, this detainee witnessed the miracle of Falun Dafa and the practitioners' steadfast faith and determination to validate and safeguard Falun Dafa with their lives. As a result, this eyewitness embarked on the path of Faun Dafa cultivation and became a determined practitioner. -
High School Teacher Murdered in March, 2004 in Heilongjiang Province, More Practitioners Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labour Camps
2004-11-14Since July 20, 1999, at least 26 Falun Gong practitioners in Daqing City have been persecuted to death. Even though most people have come to understand the truth about Falun Gong and are no longer deceived by the propaganda, the wicked authorities are still out of control. At the end of March 2004, an excellent Daqing City high school teacher, Gao Shuqin, was murdered by the Hulu Sub-Railway Department just because she wanted to uphold her right as a citizen and not abandon her belief in "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance." -
Ms. Liu Tongling Tortured to Death on the "Iron Chair" at the Harbin Forced Labour Camp in 2003
2004-11-14Ms. Liu Tongling, over 50 years old, was a practitioner from Heilongjiang Province. She was abducted and taken to the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Forced Labour Camp in September 2003. Within a month she was dead. On the last day of her life, as she was being beaten on the "Iron Chair", the guard even had others remove all of her clothes to humiliate her and let her freeze. That day Ms. Liu Tongling died, naked, on the iron chair. -
Mr Peng Shiming Died as a Result of Persecution, His Wife Liu Xiaolian Died from Mental Trauma, both in 2002
2004-11-14Hubei Province Falun Dafa practitioners Peng Shimin and his wife, Liu Xiaolian were repeatedly harassed and detained many times. Peng Shimin unfortunately passed away, mentally and physically debilitated from persecution, in October of 2002. His wife Liu Xiaolian was seriously traumatized after her husband's last arrest, and she died on February 14, 2002. -
Remembering Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr Fan Xuejun from Shenyang City
2004-11-13"Fan Xuejun was one of my best friends. When I read the news about his death, that his skull had been caved in, that there was a big hole on his back and a big gash on his leg, my heart felt very heavy. I didn't want believe that it was true. I had been imprisoned because of my practice of Falun Dafa and was released at the end of 2003. When I asked about Fan Xuejun, I found out that he had been sentenced to seven years in prison." -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Fuzhen from Shandong Province Died Due to Persecution (July 2003)
2004-11-12Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Fuzhen was in her 60s. In April 2002, the County "610 Office" workers stormed into her home and abducted her. She had been deeply disturbed mentally and tortured physically during the brainwashing. The County "610 Office" kept harassing her after she was released, resulting in her old sicknesses returning, and she died in July 2003. -
Chongqing City Falun Gong Practitioner Tang Zhenghua Dies as a Result of Torture
2004-11-12After July 20, 1999, the local authorities continually persecuted Falun Dafa practitioner Tang Zhenghua. In May 2001 when he clarified the truth about Falun Gong, police officers arrested him and sent him to a detention centre, where he was cruelly tortured. The guards didn't allow him to sleep for many days and nights. Later, they forced him to sleep on the wet floor. He suffered three broken ribs from being beaten, and blood clots spread from his right side throughout his body. He also developed oedema. Mr. Tang passed away on October 9, 2004. -
Practitioner Mr. Li Changrong from Hubei Province Arrested; Wife Passes Away
2004-11-12Mr. Li Changrong is a Falun Gong practitioner from Hubei Province. Over the past five years, his home was searched and he was arrested six times. He spent a total of 450 days in detention. In order to catch Mr. Li, the police went to his home every day and intimidated Ms. Wang Zihua, his wife. She passed away on the night of September 24, 2004. It is unknown what was the cause of her death, but there were obvious bruises on her body. On October 25, 2004, police arrested Mr. Li soon after he returned home. -
Ms. Chen Guiqin from Heilongjiang Province Dies As a Result of Persecution in January 2004
2004-11-11Ms. Chen was formerly an elementary school teacher in Yichun City. In July 1999 when the Jiang Zemin group started to persecute Falun Gong, she went to the National Women's Council in Beijing to appeal for an end to the persecution and she brought with her handwritten stories about how she benefited from the practice. Unfortunately, a plainclothes police officer mixing with the staff at the Women's Council abducted her to the Heilongjiang Province's resident office in Beijing. She was then taken back to her hometown and detained at a local police station. From then on she suffered torture, harassment and brainwashing until she passed away at home on January 6, 2004.
