Falun Gong Practitioner Ms Deng Jingping from Chengdu City of China Has Been Tortured to Death

Falun Dafa practitioner Deng Jingping was a 42-year-old lady from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On March 13, 2004, she was arrested by Chengdu City Police and sent to a detention centre. After five months of torture at the detention centre, Deng became mentally disabled. She was then sent to Qingyang People's Hospital. At 12:30 p.m. on August 11, 2004, she died in the hospital. -
Further Information Regarding the Death of 55 Year Old Female Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Xu Fuzhi from Heilongjiang Province
2004-08-17So far, seven Dafa practitioners in Mudanjiang City have died as a result of torture. Nearly 600 practitioners have been sent to the Jianshan Prison, the Harbin Women's Prison, Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Mudanjiang City Detention Centre, the Forced Labour Camp, the Mental Hospital. The authorities responsible for these deaths are all from the Mudanjiang City "6-10 Office," from the Aimin Court, other courts of the city and people from the police department. The practitioners were subjected to torture in all such locations. -
A Family Tragedy in Henan Province: Mother Dies Unjustly, Father Pushed to Mental Breakdown, Daughter Disabled
2004-08-15"Our family of three had the fortune to come to know Falun Dafa in May of 1997. My mother in her 60's and my father in his 70's became healthy and energetic. After the persecution began in July 1999, policemen used the excuse of "questioning" us to barge into our home and asked us to insult Teacher and Falun Dafa. Under such forceful media influence and pressure, my parents no longer dared to practise. My mother developed cancer and died and my father had a mental breakdown. I suffered torture in a brainwashing centre, which crippled me." -
Outstanding Teacher and Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Tang Jian Was Tortured to Death at the Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp
2004-08-14Dafa practitioner Tang Jian was 39 years old and had graduated from the Physics Department at Nankai University. He was working at the Jialingdao Middle School. Tang Jian was sent to the Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp in 2001 for practising Falun Gong and held for one year, during which time he was tortured and his sentence was extended. He was released in July 2002 when he was on the brink of death. He was arrested again in September 2002 and tortured to death on July 7, 2004. His body was covered with bruises and scars at the time of his death. -
Two Female Falun Gong Practitioners from Inner Mongolia Tortured to Death in 2003
2004-08-14In the summer of 2003, in Inner Mongolia, the Chifeng City National Security Bureau arrested five local Falun Dafa practitioners. Two of them received heavy sentences, one was tortured until she lost the ability to take care of herself and the remaining two were tortured to death. Within three weeks of her arrest, Ms Zheng Lanfeng was tortured to death. Ms Zhou Caixia was sentenced to eight years and within a few days of imprisonment, was tortured to death after being hung up. -
Ms. Huang Zhao is Tortured to Death by Police in Wuhan City - The Murderers Try to Cover up the Truth
2004-08-14Ms. Huang Zhao, 32 years old, was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hubei Province. On April 16, 2004, Ms. Huang Zhao died as a result of torture. She was tortured to death by Wuhan City Police. Her two elderly parents were overwhelmed by the sad news and asked the police, "Why were we not informed during the two weeks Huang Zhao was in the hospital?" The officials argued, "We were worried that you could not handle it." The elderly couple asked, "Then, how do you think we can handle you coming to tell us an hour after her death? Why didn't you tell us so we could see her for a moment before she was going to die?" The officials could answer them. -
Mourning the Loss of Our Fellow Practitioner Ms Yu Guizhen
2004-08-14Ms Yu Guizhen, who was persecuted until she suffered a mental collapse and died on November 13, 2003. Her death resulted from the execution of Jiang Zemin's genocide policy by authorities from the the Pingdu City "610 Office". Had she not been repeatedly beaten, and forcefully injected with drugs that damage the central nervous system, would such a woman, full of hope in life and who enjoyed a perfectly happy family life, die? If it weren't for this unjust persecution, Yu Guizhen would still be alive today. -
Nineteen Persecution Deaths Verified in July (Photos)
2004-08-12According to reports on Clearwisdom.net in July 2004, it was confirmed that another 19 Falun Gong practitioners have died as a result of torture in the year 2004, which brings the overall death toll to 1,016. The oldest practitioner who died as a result of torture was Zhou Dehong, 78, from Hunan Province. The youngest practitioner was Ms. Wang Xiaodong, 34, who was a teacher at the Nantou Middle School in Shenzhen City. Eight of these practitioners were over 50 years of age, which accounts for 42% of the 19 deaths. Twelve were female, which accounts for 63% of the death toll. -
The Deadly Torture Suffered by Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Xiaohong, as Told in His Own Words Before He Died
2004-08-12Whoever knew Zhang Xiaohong would only speak well of him. After he was taken home from detention, everyone was shocked about what had happened to him. Once a healthy young man, he had been tortured until he resembled a hunchbacked old man. He even had great difficulty speaking. He had completely lost the ability to take care of his needs. Despite the loving care of his family, his life could not be saved. Two months after he was taken home, he passed away. His death was completely unjustified and senseless. -
Meng Jincheng from Hebei Province Killed on the Day of His Arrival at Hehuakeng Labour Camp
2004-08-12Mr. Meng Jincheng was a 50-year-old practitioner from Hebei Province. He was arrested in November of 2002 while handing out materials that clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Because he was steadfast in his belief, the Zunhua City "610 Office" sent him to the Tangshan City Labour Camp for further persecution. They ruthlessly killed Meng on July 7, 2003. -
78 Year Old Falun Gong Practitioner Mr Zhou Dehong from Hunan Province Dies as a Result of the Persecution
2004-08-10Seventy-eight year old Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhou Dehong, from Hunan Province went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000. Police beat him brutally and tortured him. He suffered constant pain in his swollen chest and he often vomited blood. He could not eat properly. Zhou Dehong finally died with injustice in his heart After his release, Zhou stayed at home to recuperate but died on December 6, 2003. -
Liaoning Province Dafa Practitioner Lian Ping Tortured to Death
2004-08-08Mr. Lian Ping, 29 years old, was from Liaoning Province. In 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, and was arrested and detained twice afterwards. On April 10, 2002, he was arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials and sentenced to 6 years in prison. On July 10, 2004, he was tortured to death at the Liaoyang City Prison. His family members are under great pressure from the authorities, and they dare not say anything about his death. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms Yang Hongyan Tortured to Death at Yangai Farm in Guizhou Province
2004-08-08Ms. Yang Hongyan, born in 1964, was a Dafa practitioner from Guizhou Province who started practising Falun Gong in 1996. In November 2000, she was arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials. In 2001, she was sentenced to 4 years in prison. In late July 2004, Yang was in critical condition due to continuous torture. The prison informed her family to come visit her. At that time, she was already paralyzed and confined in bed. Her right arm was black and purple. She went from weighing 117 1bs. to only 68 1bs. Ms. Yang passed away on July 29, 2004. -
Dafa Practitioner Wang Zuodian from Shandong Province Dies as a Result of the Persecution
2004-08-08Wang Zuodian, former employee of Yantai University's printing factory in Shandong Province, was fired from his job for practising Falun Gong. To make a living, he bought a second hand printer and continued with printing work. In first half of 2003, he was captured by the "610" Office." No news of his whereabouts could be obtained at the time. Recently it was reported that he died about one month ago. He was only 40 years old. The details of his death await further investigation. -
Liu Jingrong, Practitioner from Jilin Province is Tortured to Death
2004-08-07Mr. Liu Jingrong, a Dafa Practitioner from Jilin Province has suffered time after time under the persecution, because he insisted on practising Falun Gong. He was detained and tortured in the Liaoyuan Forced Labour Camp, Jilin City Forced Labour Camp and Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp. He passed away on January 31, 2004.
