Three Falun Gong Practitioners in Beijing, Weifang, and Zhuanghe Cities Died as a Result of Persecution

90-year-old Mr. Wang Zhenhe, 90, lived in Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province. His daughter was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. Mr. Wang's son was imprisoned in late December 2006. Mr. Wang had to cope with the persecutory acts of the Chinese Communist Party for a long time. Wang Zhenhe suffered many cruel blows. Starting on January 11th, 2007, he constantly called out his children's names for three days and three nights. On January 13th, he passed away. -
Police Officers Beat Mr. Sun Zhonglin to Death When He Appealed for Justice on Behalf of His Wife, Their Sons Sentenced to Forced Labour for Protesting the Injustice
2007-05-15On November 7th, 2004 Mr. Sun Zhonglin, husband to practitioner Ms. Wu Yuqin, went to the Qianshan Police Division looking for his wife who had been arrested. The police of the Qianshan Police Division several policemen started beating Mr. Sun, and eventually killed him. They left a big hole in Mr. Sun's head and numerous electrical burns all over his body. Their two sons were sentenced to forced labour because they appealed for justice on behalf of their parents. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Qibo, 47, Persecuted to Death
2007-05-14Mr. Wang Qibo was sentenced to seven years in prison because he persisted in his belief in Falun Dafa. Handing down the sentence were officials from Nong'an County in Jilin Province. Mr. Wang was incarcerated in Jilin Prison, where he suffered all kinds of physical torture and mental torment. In the middle of the night on March 27th, 2007, he was sent to Jilin City Railroad Hospital. He was at death's door. Only 47 years old, Wang Qibo died on March 28th at 9:50 a.m. -
In April 2007, Twenty-One Confirmed Deaths of Practitioners Due to Torture
2007-05-12Practitioner Mr. Liu Jingming worked at Qiqihar City Chinese Medicine Hospital, Heilongjiang Province. He was honoured as an "outstanding" purchasing agent. During the CCP's extremely brutal persecution against Falun Gong, Mr. Liu Jingming had been imprisoned, sent to forced labour camp and tortured. On February 8th, 2007, he was detained at Tailai Prison. It took wardens at Tailai Prison only 46 days to torture thirty nine year-old Mr. Liu to death. On March 24th, 2007, Warden Ji Hengtai of the Training Unit at Tailai Prison phoned Liu Jingming's home. He claimed that Mr. Liu died after "jumping out of the window of the building" at 1:40 a.m. on March 24th. The CCP has used this excuse for almost eight years after murdering practitioners. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Wu Guangyuan from Liaoning Province Has Died as a Result of Persecution
2007-05-12Mr. Wu Guangyuan was a Falun Gong practitioner from Fushun City. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20th, 1999, Mr. Wu was arrested and detained by police repeatedly. Later on, he was forced to attend a brainwashing session held at Fushun City Labour Camp. Mr. Wu carried on a three-day hunger strike to protest the persecution. He developed oedema after being released from the brainwashing centre, and was diagnosed has having uraemia. Wu Guangyuan died in March 2007. -
Practitioner Mr. Su Anzhou from Lanzhou Province Tortured, His Wife and Son Died Due to Persecution
2007-05-11Mr. Su Anzhou's family was broken apart by the CCP simply for practising "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." Torture claimed the lives of Mr. Su's wife and son. In addition to enduring the pain of losing his loved ones, Mr. Su Anzhou also had to face physical torture and the mental pressure to give up his belief in Lanzhou Prison. The long-term torture damaged his health. He was taken in and out of the forced labour hospital in 2005 but has been there since 2006. According to people who are familiar with his case, he has colon cancer, but the warden claimed that it was a colorectal polyp. Mr. Su Anzhou remains in the forced labour hospital. -
The Deaths of Ms. Guo Xiumei and Mr. Jia Junxi, Practitioners from Zhoukou City, Henan Province, Are Connected to the 610 Office
2007-05-10Around 9:00 p.m. on September, 22nd, 2002, Ms Guo Xiumei was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution in the city. She was found dead the next morning in the residential area of the Xiguan District in Huaiyang County. According to an eyewitness, the dead person was a forty-some-year-old female. Her face was purple and black, the left eye socket was empty, the neck was bruised, and the chest had fist-size bruising and injuries. She was lying face down looking west. There were signs of a struggle. One eye was wide open and her face was frozen in an expression of extreme terror. Her children and relatives could only recognise her clothing, not her face. -
Ms. Su Xiying from Chongqing City Died as a Result of Persecution
2007-05-07During her four-year term in the Chongqing City Women's Prison, Ms. Su Xiying, 53, was tortured physically and mentally. Ms. Su refused to recite the prison regulations, and she was often verbally abused and cruelly beaten by the guards and prisoners. She was forced to do overtime heavy labour, from 7:00 a.m. to midnight every day. She was then forced to stand for two hours after midnight while being subjected to brainwashing sessions. Su Xiying was inhumanly tortured like this for more than a whole year. During this time, she slept less than 4 hours per day because she had to get up at 6:00 a.m., labour until midnight, and then suffer brainwashing attempts for two hours while being forced to stand. Ms. Su had been very healthy, but she was tortured to the extent that her lower spine became severely misaligned. She could not walk, and she died on April 18th, 2007. -
Huludao City Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province Responsible for the Deaths of Several Falun Gong Practitioners
2007-05-07Practitioner Mr. Chen Dewen was 57 years old and was tortured to death by guard Zhang Fusheng and other prison officials. They brutally beat him, shocked him with electric batons on the sensitive areas of his body (including the genitals), force-fed him with salt water, and used other methods of torture. Thirty-five year old Mr. Wu Guoliang was frequently forced to go outside to do manual labour for eight hours at a time, which caused his physical condition to deteriorate rapidly. He was also forced to sit on a stool for long periods of time. Mr. Wu was taken to a hospital when his life was in danger. He was taken home by his family members and passed away ten days later. -
Mr. Wang Jitao Died as the Result of Torture
2007-05-06Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Jitao was 54 years old. On September 1st, 2003, he was arrested by State Security agents and detained in the Chengde City Detention Centre. He was inhumanly tortured. His ribs were fractured by beating, and his head suffered internal injuries. After being released, his rib fracture healed, but he constantly suffered from a headache. On April 29th, 2007, the doctor found a huge pool of liquid inside his skull. He died on April 30th, 2007. -
Xu Xiaochun of Jiayu, Hubei and Chen Zhiying of Tonghua, Jilin Died Due to Torture
2007-05-06A female Falun Gong practitioner, over 50 years old, came from another city to inform people about the true nature of Falun Gong. She was reported during one of her trips and detained by Jinan Railway Public Security Bureau for several months. She suddenly died not long after she was released. Afterwards fellow practitioners recalled that before this practitioner died she often complained of problems in her chest, that she felt weak and breathing was very hard. She always vomited yellow liquid with pus and blood. Her husband and local practitioners both suspected that during the detention, she was given toxic medication. -
Mr. Yu Huaicai Died after Being Abused at Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-05-04Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Huaicai could not speak after being tortured at Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp. He died on April 22nd, 2007. His family suspects that camp personnel injected him with drugs that affected his ability to speak. The family saw Mr. Yu Huaicai at the labour camp for the last time four days prior to his death. He stared at his family with an open mouth. He moved his tongue but could not make any sound. He was handcuffed. The family asked the labour camp officials, "Why are you handcuffing him when he's already in such terrible condition?" The authorities answered, "That's the rule." Yu Huaicai's eyes were bulging out. He grasped his shirt in front of his chest and repeatedly slapped his hands against the wall. He appeared to be in great agony. -
Three Practitioners from Chongqing City, Jilin Province and Hubei Province Died Unjustly
2007-05-04Mr. Chen Shouku was 66 years old. In October 1999, Mr. Chen was arrested by local police because he chose not to give up cultivation in Falun Dafa. He was sent to a detention centre for half a month. On February 24th, 2000, local Chinese Communist Party (CCP) party members tried to force him to write a "transformation" statement and a guarantee statement that he would not go to Beijing. Mr. Chen didn't cooperate and was taken away by police. He was again detained at the Changliu Detention Centre. Due to the persecution at the detention centre, his heart disease recurred, and his leg was broken during a beating. He was released on bail for medical treatment after a month. Mr. Chen died on November 24th, 2006. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Luan Fusheng Dies as a Result of Torture and Mistreatment in Jinzhong Prison, Shanxi Province (Photos)

On March 21st, 2007, after being almost persecuted to death, Falun Gong practitioner Luan Fusheng was escorted by four policemen from the Jinzhong Prison in Shanxi Province to a police station on Weiming Street, in the Pian area of Shijiazhuang. He was then taken to relevant departments in Shanxi Province to complete some so-called paperwork. The police were so frightened by Luan Fusheng's physical appearance after torture and subsequent mistreatment, that they sent Mr. Luan home. After being at home for 19 days, Luan Fusheng passed away on the 8th of April, 2007. -
Practitioner Tortured to Death in Panjin Prison, Liaoning Province
2007-05-01According to reliable sources, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province who was detained in the third ward of Panjin Prison has been tortured to death. Recently, a guard had beaten the practitioner while he was working. He went on hunger strike to protest the mistreatment, and the guards killed him while force-feeding him through a rubber tube. This practitioner's name is not yet known.
