Additional Information Regarding Practitioner Mr. Qiao Zenyi's Death While in Police Custody in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province

In June 2006, 58-year-old, Mr. Qiao Zenyi was arrested because he often explained the truth of the persecution to people. He was sentenced to 1-1/2 years of forced labour. The guards did not let him eat, use the toilet or sleep. They made him stay outside in the cold winter. He developed tuberculosis. Mr. Qiao died on September 12th, 2007, two months after he left the forced labour camp. -
More Information About the Death of Mr. Li Zhiqin in Ningjin County, Hebei Province

On September 11th, 2007, 610 Office officials went to 50-year-old Mr. Li Zhiqin's house, arrested him and ransacked his home. He was tortured to death that evening. After Mr. Li began to practise Falun Gong, he did not need to take any medicine, and he never had any symptoms of heart disease, yet the Communist agents claimed that he died from "heart disease." Although his family merely gave his body a glance, they saw that there were areas of black and blue scars on his legs. The policemen did not allow the family to see his upper body at all. -
The Persecution-Caused Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Xu Shufen at Qianan City Detention Centre, Hebei Province in 2002
2007-10-06In September 2002, police arrested Ms. Xu Shufen at home. Ms. Xu pleaded with the police not to tear up Falun Dafa books as she watched. As a result, one policeman violently beat Ms. Xu, making one of her eye sockets and eyeball swell. She was in severe pain. After savagely torturing her, the policemen handcuffed her so that she could not move, and they also tied her up tightly. Due to repeated torture Ms. Xu had a brain hemorrhage and died as a result on November 6th, 2002. She was 49 years old. -
Additional Information about Beijing Practitioner Mr. Peng Guangjun Who Died from Mistreatment in Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp
2007-10-05An older Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Peng Guangjun died on April 1st, 2004, from the mistreatment he suffered in Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp in Beijing. Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp officials told the people outside the labour camp that he had died of a heart attack. According to those who knew about this incident, when the police led his family members to the mortuary to view the body, they purposely turned off the light and only lit a single candle to cover up the evidence of their crime. The labour camp authorities bullied Mr. Peng's family members because they were simple peasants, and the police threatened them using various tactics. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Wu Xindong Passes Away Following Imprisonment
2007-10-04The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continued to persecute Mr. Wu Xindong during the eight years since July 20th, 1999. He was incarcerated at Xinhua Forced Labour Camp in Mianyang City on two occasions. While incarcerated he was brutally tortured and sustained internal injuries. Later, he was destitute and forced to leave home to avoid the repeated harassment from local government and police. Finally, Wu Xindong could not endure the prolonged inhumane treatments anymore. He died on July 27th, 2007, while living in destitution. -
Police in Jilin City Cremate a Practitioner's Body to Destroy Evidence of their Crimes, and Lie in Wait to Arrest Practitioners Attending the Cremation

On August 8th, 2007, Jilin City Public Security Bureau officials mobilised over 100 police officers and notified Wang Minli's family that her body would be cremated that day. They were told that the family could attend, but only those who do not practise Falun Gong, because (if they do) they could be arrested at any time. Family members were choked with tears. After Wang Minli was arrested on March 15th, the police told them that she was doing very well in jail. However on June 19th, her family received a call notifying them about her death. -
Mr. Qiao Zengyi of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province Died as a Result of Torture

Practitioner Qiao Zengyi was arrested at his home in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province on June 22nd, 2006. He was then detained at the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp. During his detention, Mr. Qiao became seriously ill as a result of torture. Many times, his family requested to take him to the hospital, but the requests were refused by the guards. On July 11th, 2007, the guards released Mr. Qiao when he was barely alive. On September 12th, 2007, Mr. Qiao Zengyi passed away. -
610 Office Agents Send Ms. Zhen Haiyan to Forced Labour Camp and Hide Evidence of Her Husband's Torture Death
2007-10-01On May 31st, 2007, Jiexi Police Station officers arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Yang Yuxin and his wife, Ms. Zhen Haiyan. The couple had been married for only one month. Police officer Zhang Shibin pointed a handgun at Mr. Yang Yuxin's head while four or five agents carried him to a vehicle. On August 27th, 2007, Mr. Yang Yuxin was tortured to death in police custody. After Mr. Yang had been tortured to death, on September 10th, officers arrested Ms. Zhen for the second time. While they were carrying out the arrest, they said, "You appealed, didn't you? We are arresting you because you appealed." Police fear that Ms. Zhen will sue them and their crimes will be exposed. They are hiding the evidence. -
Ms. Li Changying, a Falun Gong Practitioner in her Fifties, from Xi'an, Persecuted to Death

After eight years of suppression and persecution, Ms. Li Changying's old illness returned, which caused her abdomen to become terribly swollen. It was only then that the camp authorities released her. After she returned home, the local neighbourhood office monitored her continuously. This put her and her family under enormous pressure. She died on August 31st, 2007. -
Ms. Wang Lanxiang and Mr. Chen Genghui Passed Away Due to Persecution
2007-09-30Ms. Wang Lanxiang, was over 50 years old and lived in Beijing. After she began to practise Falun Gong, she became quite healthy, and the local people knew her as a kind person. On one day in 2005, several police officers suddenly broke into Ms. Wang's home and took her into custody. She was detained and sentenced to labour camp since she refused to give up Falun Gong. Due to long term detention and persecution, she developed many kinds of diseases and her life was in danger. In 2006, she was released for medical treatment. She passed away several months later. Mr. Chen Genghui, was over 70 years old. In 2003, he was sentenced to labour camp. On December 24th, 2003, he passed away in pain. -
Three Practitioners Died As Result of Persecution
2007-09-30Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Qiao Zengyi was a senior technician at Heilongjiang Province Hospital. On June 21st, 2006, the police broke into the place where he was staying and arrested him. When he was detained at Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp, Mr. Qiao was severely tortured. He contracted tuberculosis and could not eat or drink and became emaciated. He was unable to take care of himself. After being delirious for 43 days, he was eventually taken to a hospital. Even during that time, guards were assigned to watch him. Mr. Qiao died at noon on September 12th, 2007. His death was a direct result of persecution. -
Mr. Li Zhiqin Tortured to Death within Three Hours of His Arrest in Ningjin County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province
2007-09-29During the evening of September 11th, 2007, Ningjin County 610 Office and Zhao County 610 Office officials went to Mr. Li Zhiqin's house in Zhao County, arrested him and ransacked his home. He was later taken to Ningjin County, where he died as a result of abuse that same evening. It was reported that Ningjin County 610 Office officials threatened his family and only paid a little money as compensation for his death. -
Older Daqing City Practitioner Ms. Liu Sheng Dies As a Result of Persecution
2007-09-29Ms. Liu Sheng was a Falun Gong practitioner from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. In June 2006, Ms. Liu was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution to people in Kaihuanghutun when someone reported her to the police. She was sentenced to 18 months of forced labour. Within only 30 days, Ms. Liu coughed up blood and was unable to eat because of the cruel torture. After 30 days at the camp, Ms. Liu was released. She went into hiding to avoid further persecution. She passed away at the age of 53 on September 11th, 2007. She was skin and bones when she died, weighing a mere 66 lbs. -
Older Practitioner Ms. Huang Dingyou Tortured to Death
2007-09-27In 2003 61-year-old Ms. Huang Dingyou was arrested when she appealed to the police for the release of another practitioner.In July 2007, authorities from the Guangdong Province Women's Prison called Ms. Huang Dingyou's family and asked them to take her home. Without informing any of her family members that she was in the last stages of leukaemia, the authorities got her family to sign the release form. On August 8th, less than one month after her release, Huang Dingyou passed away. -
Ms. Zhen Haiyan Arrested Again Just Fifteen Days After Her Husband Was Tortured to Death
2007-09-26On May 31st, 2007, Jiexi Police and 610 Office agents arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Yang Yuxin and his wife, Ms. Zhen Haiyan. The couple had been married for only a month. Zhang Shibin pointed a handgun at Mr. Yang Yuxin's head while four or five agents carried him to a vehicle. The agents ransacked their home and took Mr. Yang and Ms. Zhen Haiyan to the Morin Dawa Prefecture Detention Centre. When Mr. Yang was being tortured in the detention centre, a relative went to visit him twice, but the detention centre administration refused to let him see Mr. Yang. They called his family only after Mr. Yang died. Mr. Yang's body had dark bruises under his neck, his mouth would not close, and both of his arms were crossed in front of his chest.
