50 Year Old Ms. Liang Xiuzhen from Inner-Mongolia Autonomous District Died As a Result of Torture in 2002

Ms. Liang Xiuzhen was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Inner-Mongolia Autonomous District. She was 50 years old. She was arrested by Chifeng City and State Security Police in May, 2001, while clarifying the truth to people. Police officers used electric batons to shock her repeatedly for an entire night, severely damaging her both mentally and physically. She died in March 2002. -
Inside Story of the Persecution Death of Practitioner Mr Li Guoshun from Fujian Province (Photos)
2005-01-14Police arrested Mr. Li Guoshun, a practitioner from Longyan City, Fujian Province, on August 23, 2004, charged him with distributing Falun Gong materials and was sentenced to one year of forced labour. He went on a hunger strike to protest but was ignored by the police and the prison hospital staff. He died on October 14 after enduring over 50 days of misery. The family members he left behind were extremely sad, especially his mother, who was hospitalized for many days because of the traumatic experience. -
Three Falun Gong Practitioners, Former Residents of Liaoning Province, Tianjin City and Jilin Province, Are Tortured to Death
2005-01-13Three women Falun Dafa practitioners, 75 years old, 50 years old and 38 years old practitioner, from three different provinces in China, all suffered the same cruel fate for believing and upholding Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance - they were brutally torturedby guards in detention centres and forced labour camps until they died. No matter whether old or young, male or female, Falun Dafa practiitoners are subjected to the same unspeakable tortures and officials have discarded any shred of humanity in themselves for the sake of money and power. -
Mr. Su Huili from Hebei Province Died in 2001 from Persecution
2005-01-13Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Su Huili was from the Baoding Area of Hebei Province. He recovered from a terminal illness after practising Falun Dafa. After the persecution began in 1999, local officials repeatedly beat Mr. Su, and he was not able to continue practising Falun Dafa. His illness returned, and then he died in May 2001. -
Practitioner Bi Wenming Tortured to Death at the Dingxi Jail in Gansu Province
2005-01-12Even after the facts of the persecution of practitioner Jin Jiling were exposed earlier this year, guards at the Dingxi Jail in Gansu Province showed no remorse for their actions. On September 3, 2004, two Falun Dafa practitioners were beaten by jail inmates under the guards' instigation. Practitioner Bi Wenming was beaten so badly that his spleen ruptured and he died on the scene. -
Ms. Zhang Yuling, from Gansu Province Tortured to Death in 2002
2005-01-12Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuling was arrested in October 2001, while distributing truth-clarification materials in Ningxia Province. Later her home was ransacked and her husband divorced her under pressure from the authorities. She was later jailed for six months and tortured severely. Ms. Zhang's health seriously deteriorated. However, the detention centre only released her when she was on the verge of death. Ms. Zhang's family rushed her to the hospital. However, despite rescue efforts, she passed away in December 2002, at the age of 30. The police tried all means to shirk their responsibility for her death. -
Investigating the Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Zhao Wenyu

Zhao Wenyu was a Falun Gong practitioner in Hebei Province. She had been arrested many times for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and appealing. During detention, she suffered torture, brutal beatings and mental torment from coercive brainwashing. On February 3, 2004, when trying to escape illegal arrest by the police, she fell from a building. -
Falun Gong Practitioners 59 Year Old Mr Wang Jicheng and 60 Year Old Mr Xu Congxin from Chongqing City Died As a Result of Persecution
2005-01-11Two elderly Falun Gong practitioners were both imprisoned at Chongqing City Xishanping Forced Labour Camp because they stood up for what they believed in - Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance. They were mercilessly persecuted: 59 year old Mr. Wang Jicheng, was released on bail for medical treatment, yet after returning home in October 2003, Mr. Wang's health was constantly in a critical condition. He finally passed away on November 30, 2004. 60 year old Mr Xu Congxin passed away on July 19, 2003 as a result of torture he suffered. -
The Persecution of Mr. Li Xinglian Results in His Mental Collapse and Death
2005-01-11Hubei Falun Dafa practitioner Mr Li Xinglian suffered mental torture numerous times in a forced labour camp, his body and mind were harmed so much that he suffered a mental collapse and his body was greatly weakened. At the end of May 2004, the 610 Office put Mr. Li on the blacklist for enforced brainwashing, but gave up later when they found that Li Xinglian was on the verge of death. Li Xinglian was sent to a mental hospital, but wasn't accepted. The next day, on September 4, 2004, Li Xinglian died after falling from a building. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Wang Baozhen from Hebei Province Died from Persecution in 2003
2005-01-0969 year old Mr. Wang Baozhen from Hebei Province went to Beijing to peacefully appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa and deliver truth-clarifying materials. As a result his entire family was taken into custody at a detention centre and held for slave labour. Later, in 2001 Mr. Wang's family and some other local Falun Dafa practitioners were forced into exile as a result of police roundups. His two sons were arrested at his home in 2001 and 2002 respectively. Under the weight of the local authorities' persecution, Mr. Wang died at his home in February 2003. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Ms Li Guimin Tortured to Death in 2002; Whereabouts of Her Two Children Remain Unknown
2005-01-09Falun Gong practitioner Li Guimin lived in Hebei Province. In 2001, she was sentenced to 8 years in prison. While in detention, Li went on a hunger strike to protest the detention. Police, led by the detention centre director, brutally force-fed her by pouring food directly into her mouth. The food was inhaled into her lungs. The police didn't stop their brutal acts until her lungs bled and she passed out. Only then did they send her to the county hospital. Li died in the hospital on March 1, 2002. When she died, blood was oozing out from her nose and mouth. -
More Information on the Torture Death of Practitioner Mr Sui Futao from Jilin Province
2005-01-09Mr. Sui Futao, 28, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Jilin Province. On April 30, 2002, he died after being subjected to the "sitting stool" torture in Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City. "Sitting stool" is a type of torture employed by the labour camp, where one has to sit on a small stool with triangular ridges in the same position every day for twelve to twenty hours, and not allowed to move even a bit. Everyone who has been subjected to such torture has suffered from injury to the buttocks and partial paralysis of the body. -
Two Falun Dafa Practitioners from Jilin Province, Ms. Yang Shuqing and Mr. Wang Yongan, Died in 2002 As A Result of Persecution
2005-01-08Ms. Yang Shuqing was a 72 year old practitioner from Songyuan City, Jilin Province. She suffered undue harassment by police and was distraught when her daughters and grandson were imprisoned for practising. She died on April 8, 2002. Practitioner Mr. Wang Yongan, 49, was a resident of Jilin City. He was sent to a forced labour camp in Jilin Province in December 2000 and cruelly tortured.He died in June 2002. -
65 Year Old Retired Teacher Ms. Wang Tingfang of Shanxi Province Dies from Persecution
2005-01-0865 year old retired teacher, Ms. Wang Tingfang, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shanxi Province, was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labour for her belief in Falun Dafa. Following orders issued by the director of the 610 Office, the principal of her former school suspended her pension benefits for twenty-four months, totalling over 24,000 yuan. Officials continued to harass her after she was released until her health deteriorated and she died in March 2004. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr. Han Liguo from Shenyang City Died as a Result of Persecution in Dabei No. 2 Prison
2005-01-07Mr. Han Liguo, over 40 years old, was a worker in a steel company in Liaoning Province. He was detained and sent to Shenyang City's Dabei No.2 Prison for practising Falun Gong. In August 2004, Han Liguo was observed lying in his cell for one day, and was then sent to the prison hospital. The next day, he suddenly died. The hospital staff claimed that he had died from a heart attack, but as Han Liguo never had any heart problems, his death is very suspicious.
