In addition, display boards introducing Falun Gong’s popularity around the world and exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution against Falun Gong were displayed.
  • Germany: Exposing the Truth about Falun Gong in Berlin

    On July 21st, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners organised an event at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Practitioners were kept busy chatting to people throughout the day. The persecution began on July 20th 1999 and Falun Gong was officially banned in China on July 22nd, 1999.
  • Austria: The International 'Zhen, Shan, Ren Art Exhibition' held in Graz

    On the evening of July 5th, 2007 an international art exhibition entitled “Zhen, Shan, Ren” officially opened in Graz, the capital of Steiermark province. The “Ars Cara” arts and culture club put on the exhibition - their motto is “Arts for Human Rights”. Ars Cara had great success showing the same exhibition last year throughout Austria. It was supported and recognised by many people.
  • Germany: The Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Magdeburg University is under Direction from the Chinese Embassy

    Recently former members of CSSA Chinese Students and Scholars Associations in North America, Australia, Europe and Asia revealed that the CSSAs in overseas universities are under the direction of Chinese Embassies or Consulates who rope in Chinese students and collect information about overseas Chinese students and incite students’ hatred against the Falun Gong spiritual group. The CSSA in Magdeburg University, Germany is in the same position.
  • Switzerland: 'The Persecution in China Doomed to Failure'

    Falun Gong practitioners took part in the Asian Festival held in Bern, Switzerland. They set up an information booth in Thun Square and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on the stage. They raised awareness about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners both inside and outside China.

  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest at the Chinese Consulate

    On July 20th, 2007, practitioners from Hamburg held a rally at the Chinese Consulate to protest against the eight year persecution of Falun Gong in China. Practitioners called upon the international community to pay attention to the persecution and help to stop it. Practitioners distributed leaflets and to passersby and discussed the persecution with them.
  • Ireland: Practitioners in Dublin Raise Awareness of the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Falun Gong practitioners from Ireland held a Falun Gong 'Information Day' in Dublin to protest against the persecution. Many local people learned the truth of the persecution and signed their names to support the practitioners. A forty year old lady learned the truth. She said that she knew that the CCP is evil so she has no doubt about what she learned today.
  • Turkey: Falun Gong Practitioners in Ankara Introduce Falun Gong to Teachers at a Nursery School

    Teachers from a government nursery school in Ankara invited Falun Gong practitioners to introduce Falun Gong and teach the Falun Gong exercises to them. After spending the day with practitioners, the general consensus was that the feeling after doing the exercises was very good. Others said that their minds and bodies were relaxed and felt extremely comfortable.
  • Slovakia: A Week of Falun Gong Activities Touring Slovak Cities

    From July 9th - 14th, Falun Gong practitioners toured the cities of western and middle Slovakia to inform the public about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. They gathered signatures on a petition condemning the persecution of Falun Gong addressed to state officials, requesting they open up this issue during bilateral talks with China.
  • France: Eight Years of Steadfast and Unyielding Opposition to the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Falun Gong practitioners once again held a rally in Human Rights Square, protesting against the persecution of Falun Gong. Since the persecution began on July 20th 1999, Falun Gong practitioners in France have been unremittingly raising awareness about the situation in China to tourists passing by the place, appealing to kind people to help stop the brutality.
  • Holland: People of Amsterdam Support the Twenty-Four Million Brave Souls Who Have Quit the CCP

    On July 21st, 2007, a few non governmental organisations, including the Epoch Times newspaper, Sound of Hope radio station and “Save our Loved Ones” organisation held activities at Dam Square in Amsterdam to support the twenty-four million brave Chinese people who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations.

    From July 18th to the 22nd, Finnish Falun Gong practitioners raised awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong at Kotka Ocean Festival and were invited to take part in the festival parade for the first time. Many onlookers expressed praise for Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful aspect as well as their beautiful costumes and performances.
