On 2nd April 2013, International Art Exhibition “The Art of Zhen Shan Ren” opened at the Latvian Artists' Union Gallery (AUL) in Riga. At the opening, there were many famous Latvian artists, politicians and well known people. The exhibition was opened by Mr. Igors Dobichins, Chairman of the AUL, and Mr. Lauris Fisers, curator of the exhibition.

On May 25-27, 2013, practitioners in Germany rallied to protest during China Premier Li Keqiang's visit to Berlin. They urged him to stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China; end the organ harvesting of Falun Gong prisoners of conscience, and bring the instigator of the persecution, Jiang Zemin, and his accomplices to justice.

In southern Italy, at a prestigious private primary school, groups of children, led by their classroom teachers, are attentively learning the Falun Gong exercises via video. The atmosphere in the two-storey school, where the sounds of the melodious exercise music fill every classroom, is one of peace and harmony.

International exhibition The Art of Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance), which has been shown in over 40 countries, is now being shown in French towns. The first of these was Caen from April 19th to 23rd 2013 at the gallery Place des Arts.

On May 13, practitioners from Germany and Switzerland celebrated Falun Dafa Day by Lake Titisee, a beautiful resort located in southern Germany. They introduced Falun Dafa and exposed the persecution of Falun Dafa to tourists and local passersby.

On May 13, 2013, practitioners in Belgium celebrated the 14th Annual World Falun Dafa Day, marking the 21st anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1992. Practitioners in Belgium introduced Falun Gong to both the residents of Boechout City and the town of Boom. They also held activities and demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises.

While the regime is touting the Mental Health Law, Falun Gong practitioners are still being persecuted in its mental hospitals. The new mental health law is thought by many to be a bluff by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to quell suspicion of wrongdoing. Throughout its history, the CCP has frequently made positive statements while actually committing outrageous crimes behind the scenes. This latest smokescreen is no exception.

On May 11 and 12, Italian Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Milan to celebrate the 14th anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day and the 21 st anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public. They also celebrated the birthday of the founder of Falun Gong, Master Li Hongzhi.

Falun Gong practitioners in France gathered on May 12, 2013, at the Human Rights Plaza (parvis des droits del'homme) in Paris to celebrate the 14 th World Falun Dafa Day and the 21 st anniversary of Falun Dafa's dissemination to the world. Their lively dance and music performances along with demonstrations of the Falun Gong exercises drew a large crowd of spectators.

On May 11, 2013, Falun Gong practitioners held activities at the Plaza de Callao in the centre of Madrid, Spain, to celebrate the 14th annual World Falun Dafa Day and the 21st anniversary of Falun Dafa's spread throughout the world.

Portugal practitioners celebrated World Falun Dafa Day from May 12-13, 2013 in the capitol city, Lisbon, marking the 21st anniversary of Falun Gong's introduction to the public as well as founder Master Li Hongzhi's birthday.

On May 12, 2013, practitioners in Poland gathered in the Capitol City of Warsaw to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public and the birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong.

May 13, 2013 was the 14th World Falun Dafa Day, the 21st anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the world, and also the 62nd birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners in Gothenburg, Sweden gathered on May 13 to celebrate the special occasion at Slottsskogen, the largest natural park in Gothenburg.

May 13, 2013 was the 14th World Falun Dafa Day. Russian Dafa practitioners in St. Petersburg celebrated the special day at Finland Station Square near the banks of the Neva River. Practitioners wished Master Li Hongzhi (the founder of Falun Dafa) a Happy Birthday, and expressed their thanks to Master Li. They also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and introduced the practice to passersby.
