Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Sun Peijie Dies as a Result of Torture in Prison in Henan Province

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Peijie, former head of the Zhangpan Township Civil Administration Bureau in Henan Province, was sentenced to four years in prison in 2001. He held a hunger strike and was held in solitary confinement at length, during which time he was savagely tortured. He was tortured to the brink of death at the Xinmi Prison. The prison authorities told his family to take Sun Peijie home when he was skin and bones and showed symptoms of severe illness. He passed away on August 19th 2005. -
Details of How Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Han Junmiao Was Persecuted to Death
2005-09-03Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Han Junmiao was director of the recruiting office of the Education Bureau in Baoding City, Hebei Province. Before she started practising Falun Dafa she had several illnesses, but after learning Dafa and raising her moral standards, these illnesses disappeared without medication. After the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, Ms. Han Junmiao experienced many inhumane tortures. She was transferred in and out of three forced labour camps. After she was released from these forced labour camps she endured frequent persecution and brainwashing attempts by personnel from the Xiong County "610 Office". She died on May 6th 2005. -
Mr Wang Wensheng of Shaanxi Province Persecuted to Death
2005-09-02Mr. Wang Wensheng suffered frequent persecution for his belief in Falun Gong. He was incarcerated in Zaozihe Forced Labour Camp in an isolated room (called the "psychological consultation room" to deceive the public, this room was actually used for torturing Falun Gong practitioners). Police guards directed inmates to torture Mr. Wang both mentally and physically. He was deprived of sleep, and inmates hit his ankles with their shoe heels, causing serious swelling. In the winter, inmates put his feet into partially frozen water. Disregarding the deterioration of his health, they forced him to do physical labour, and he was often forced to work until after midnight. He was on the verge of death when he was finally released from Zaozihe Forced Labour Camp. After a brief recovery period, officials began to illegally harass him again. He passed away on March 15th 2005. -
Retired Teacher Jia Boxiang from Chifeng, Inner Mongolia Passed Away in 2001
2005-09-02On October 11th 1999, police from Aohanqi Police Department State Security Division arrested 65-year-old Mr Jia Boxiang under the pretence of tracing the contact between local practitioners and practitioners in other regions. They pressed his neck, clutched his hair and took him to the detention centre where they continued persecuting him. They tried to extract a confession by torture and force him to write the "three statements". They imprisoned him for two weeks. After he was released, personnel from the state security division tracked and monitored him. They came to his home to harass him, and sent a special agent to brainwash him and to "help him to confess." He had no personal freedom. Having endured severe psychological and emotional stress for a long time, Jia Boxiang died in April 2001. -
I Witnessed the Brutal Force-Feeding that Led to the Death of a Young Woman at the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp
2005-09-01"I witnessed the torture suffered by a female practitioner in her twenties. The police incited several drug addicts to tie her up to a bed. They then sat on her abdomen, chest, legs and arms and force-fed her with two bowls of salty water. Her abdomen immediately expanded to such an extent that it looked almost about to burst. Then they released her. She was unable to get up. Police then ordered one criminal to pull her up and leaned her against the wall. Another inmate ruthlessly kicked and stomped on her abdomen. Water gushed out from her mouth and nose and her abdomen was no longer expanded. They then force-fed her again and repeated the procedure of stomping on her. After several repetitions of this torture, the police ordered the inmates to tie her up to the bed for two days straight, during which they force-fed her once again. She was forced to relieve herself on the bed. On the third day when I saw her, she was mentally disorientated and did not say a word. I heard that she died on the eleventh day. " -
Fourteen Practitioners from Shandong, Liaoning, Hebei and Other Provinces Died of Persecution
2005-09-01Mr. Liu Lecheng, 60 years old, was a resident of a village in Shandong Province. He started practising Falun Gong in 1997. After the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20th 1999, Mr. Liu went to Beijing in 2000 to appeal for Falun Dafa. Police arrested him. He was beaten, threatened and suffered other types of persecution. He was forced to sign the "Three Statements" to renounce Falun Dafa and fined 500 yuan. He was released after 15 days of detention. Soon after he was again arrested by the local police and forced to undergo brainwashing. His home was ransacked and his family members lived in fear. Mr. Liu Lecheng suffered severe torture both physically and mentally. His old illness recurred, and he died on May 17th 2005. -
Practitioner Kang Yunling from Jilin Province Dies as a Result of Persecution (Photos)
2005-08-31Falun Dafa practitioner Kang Yunling was arrested when he was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. He began a hunger strike and the police force-fed him. His health was severely harmed and he became extremely weak. After Kang Yunling came out of prison, he became destitute and homeless. His weight dropped to 70 or 80 pounds. He passed away in August 2005 after suffering from continuous harassment for a year. He was only 36 years old. -
Eight Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Sichuan, Heilongjiang, and Liaoning Provinces
2005-08-31Ms. He Zhengshu, age 52, started to practise Falun Gong in 2003. In March 2004 Ms. He was persecuted by the head of the local Qifeng township police station. In the evening he went to her house and demanded that she hand over her Falun Gong materials, and even threatened her with a police baton. He shouted that if she did not hand them over the next day, then he would beat her to death. Under immense mental pressure after being excessively threatened, she died suddenly on the second day. -
Five Practitioners Die as a Result of Persecution in Shandong, Hebei, and Henan Provinces
2005-08-30Ms. Sun Yuqiu was a 58-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner living in Shandong Province. On December 22nd 1999, her daughter, sister, and brother-in-law, plus several other Dafa practitioners, went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practise Falun Dafa. On the way there, they were arrested and detained. They suffered brutal beatings and were paraded through the streets like criminals. On top of this, each of them had to pay ten thousand yuan for being kept in captivity. Sun Yuqiu and her husband, plus about 100 other practitioners, were also detained by the village commission for three days and three nights. They all encountered cruel beatings and torture. Sun Yuqiu was forced to watch her daughter being tortured in public. At the same time, Ms. Sun and her husband were also threatened by the officials and forced to pay over 2,000 yuan. After suffering all kinds of serious physical and mental torture, Ms. Sun was released, but by that time she was already in a coma. She died 9 days after she went home. -
Six Practitioners from Hunan, Guangdong, Hebei and Other Provinces Persecuted to Death
2005-08-3072-year-old Ms. Long Xiangyun was a practitioner from Hunan Province. In June 2000, she went to Beijing to explain the truth of Falun Dafa with her own experience and was unlawfully arrested then transferred to her home city and fined 2,000 yuan. Afterwards, officials from the local "610 Office" and the police often harassed her at home. Her husband stopped her from practising the exercises and studying the Falun Dafa books because he was afraid of being fined repeatedly. Ms. Long Xiangyun's previous heart disease recurred and she passed away in August of 2001. -
Supplemental Facts Regarding Ms Li Baojie's Death
2005-08-29Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Baojie suffered severe persecution and died as a result. Her family members cried until their tears ran dry. Her death caused her mother, who is in her 70s, to grieve terribly, leaving her in an emaciated condition after less than three months. After being tortured to the verge of death, she was sent to hospital. The labour camp officials refused to give permission for Li Baojie to undergo a life-saving operation so her husband rented an ambulance to take her to another hospital, but she died on the way at the age of 33. -
Mudanjiang Practitioner Mr Ning Jun Dies after Suffering Repeated Torture
2005-08-28Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ning Jun steadfastly practised Falun Dafa and exposed the truth of the persecution. He was unjustly held in a detention centre, a brainwashing centre and a forced labour camp and was brutally tortured. Later, he was sentenced to five years of imprisonment and persecuted in Mudanjiang Prison. Although he was released on bail for medical treatment and died on August 12th 2005. -
Five Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in the City of Tianjin, and in Hunan, Sichuan and Shandong Provinces
2005-08-28They were arrested by police at the train station and were sent to a detention centre. In a damp and chilly jail, they were treated inhumanely, suffering from all kinds of threats, intimidation, force feeding and other forms of torture and persecution. Thus Zhang developed the symptom of a recurring cough. Her family spent 5000 yuan to bail her out and await trial. They forced her to stop practising the Falun Dafa exercises and to not read the Falun Dafa books, and her cough became worse and worse. She went to the hospital for a checkup and the diagnosis was lung cancer. The hospital promised her family that her sickness could be cured, but after 9 months Zhang Xioyin passed away. -
Thirty-Year-Old Mr. Wu Chunlong Tortured to Death in the Jiamusi Labour Camp (Photos)
2005-08-27Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Chunlong was tortured in the Jiamusi City Labour Camp until he was near death. He was completely emaciated, was unable to think clearly, and could not speak when he was sent home on April 30th 2005. His condition gradually improved with the care of his family, but police had him under close monitoring. They constantly threatened and harassed Mr. Wu Chunlong, and he died on August 20th 2005, only 30 years old. -
50-Year-Old Practitioner Mr. Wang Dianren from Jilin Province Tortured to Death
2005-08-26After having been sentenced to three years in prison, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Dianren was transferred to Sipingshiling Prison in Jilin Province on August 9th 2005. The guards repeatedly beat him. Once a guard Mr. Liu Jian kicked Wang Dianren hard in his stomach after he shouted out, "Falun Dafa (or Falun Gong) is good." The kick severely injured Mr. Wang's spleen. The intense pain caused him to collapse and pass out. He never recovered from the internal injury. He died as a result of torture on August 15th 2005.
