In the evening of February 25, ten people from Zhuanglang County "610 Office" and the police department, along with Sun Junxian's father, went to Lingbao, arriving in the afternoon of February 26. In an empty field near Lingbao Railway Hospital, they saw Sun Junxian's body, having been cold-heartedly dumped along with his baggage. -
Female Falun Dafa Practitioner Force-Fed to Death in Chengdu City
2003-05-06Because she refused to give them her name, she was referred to as "Falun Gong Practitioner Number Two" and detained in the 11-4 group. To protest this illegal detention, Ms. Huang Lisha started a hunger strike on August 23. Later, she was force-fed food, drugs, and water. A reaction to the drugs caused her to vomit and pass blood. However, the detention centre refused to release her. -
Belated News of Death of Dafa Practitioner From Excessive Torture in Wuhan City
2003-05-06During the detention, Xia Gang became extremely weak from torture, and he was released on bail for medical treatment in June 2001. On October 16, 2001, he passed away at the age of 32 after experiencing numerous organ failures. This is another crime the Wuhan City Police Department has committed against Dafa practitioners. -

2003-05-04While in detention, because he firmly cultivated Dafa, he was subjected to both mental and physical torture. As a result, he could not eat, and an x-ray examination showed there was a shadow in his lungs. Not wanting to take responsibility should he die in the labour camp, the camp released him on medical parole in October 2001. However, the camp kept harassing him while he was home recovering. Not being able to recover, Mr. Xu passed away in May 2002. -

2003-05-03On the morning of April 25, 2003, police in the Jinzhou City Labour Camp contacted his family and lied, saying that Shi suddenly got sick with difficulty breathing and lost consciousness, and had been sent to the 205 Hospital Respiratory Department for a rescue effort. Witnesses said, "Shi Zhongyan had been tortured until only skin and bones were left, his toes were purple and blue, and he lost consciousness. He wore a set of cotton jacket and pants without any underwear. He looked like he had been dragged on the ground during the forced feeding." -
In Memory of Practitioner Yao Sanzhong
2003-05-03Practitioners were beaten at these prisoners' whim. Such were the conditions in the camp that Yao Sanzhong lived in. He endured constant physical and mental abuse. He eventually passed away under the torture. Yao was someone who believed in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." He was a young teacher who dared to speak the truth and was then taken away from his parents, his wife, his young son, his students and his beloved music career. -

2003-05-02After lunch, the head of each team threatened practitioners saying, "Li Jian is dead. You are prohibited to do anything using his death as an excuse, or you are responsible for the consequence." In the afternoon, Deputy Director Qu from the labour camp announced at a meeting that Li Jian died from a disease. He further threatened, "Whoever makes a fuss because of his death will have his term extended." -
Female Falun Dafa Practitioner Persecuted to Death at Hohhot Forced Labour Camp
2003-05-01In January 2003, her family visited her and requested that she be released for medical care. Hohhot Forced Labour Camp denied the request stating, "She will not be released for medical treatment until she signs the guarantee statement. Otherwise the labour camp will not be responsible even if she dies here." -
Events Leading up to Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Junchen's Death
2003-05-01The food there was poorly sanitised and wasn't even thoroughly cooked. He had to sleep on the floor [usually concrete which is both hard and cold] and was kept in the dark without any natural light all day. After over 20 days of being illegally detained, he started to suffer from diarrhoea. More than a month later, he gradually became thinner and thinner and his health was steadily deteriorating. However, the public security guards and the chief of detention centre turned a blind eye to Li's suffering. -
Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Murder Female Dafa Practitioner Yet Deny Responsibility
2003-04-30When Zhang Guizhi's family asked to learn the cause of her death, the camp director did not respond. The team leader forbade them to take pictures of her body. Her family noticed wounds on her body and bloodstains in her nose and mouth. There were purple speckles on her body. When asked why her body looked black and blue, the police claimed that a fall while taking a shower triggered her heart problem, which led to her death. -
9 Year Old Boy's Practitioner Mother Tortured to Death in Nanmusi Female Forced Labour Camp
2003-04-29She tragically left behind her elderly parents and a nine-year-old son. Her husband is still held in Pengzhou City Detention Centre brainwashing centre. Her family requested the government to release Tang Fafen's husband to handle the funeral affairs, but the "610 Office" turned them down and did not release her husband.
