On January 31, 2003, I was arrested when distributing truth-clarification materials telling about the persecution of Falun Dafa. In the police station, they cuffed my hands and feet to a metal chair and punched my head with their fists. The police van driver used an electric heater to scorch my face. After being tortured for one day and one night, I was sent to the Administrative Detention Centre in the Shenyang City Police Department, where I was kept for 37 days. -

Dun Laoghaire student Liu Feng was illegally arrested following his return to China during the 1999 Christmas break because he peacefully appealed against the persecution of Falun Gong. It is said that Liu Feng has been released but is currently in hospital. This only occurs when a labour camp detainee has been tortured or is close to death, and prison authorities intend to shift the blame away from themselves. Because of this, practitioners believe that Liu Feng is in serious danger. -

The policemen also threatened Li Dan's baby sister and asked her who had taught Li Dan to practise Falun Gong. Because Li Dan's sister is so young, she told the officers that Dafa practitioner Huang Wenshu had taught Li Dan. The policemen asked the sister to lead them to arrest Huang Wenshu, and Huang Wenshu subsequently was sentenced to two years of forced labour. -
Sixty-Year-Old Lady from Inner Mongolia Dies After Being Released from Labour Camp

The labour camp hospital diagnosed her illness as breast cancer. Not wanting to take any responsibility, the camp released her on medical parole. After Ms. Wang returned home, she went to her work unit to ask for her pensions. However, her work unit colluded with the "610 Office" and heartlessly again sent her to labour education. -

2004-01-28For example, practitioners could not talk, nor could they move their lips, close their eyes, cross their legs, or even have their legs touching each other when sitting. They were rarely allowed to use the toilet during the work time and they had no more than 10 minutes to use the facilities, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. If they had an urgent need to use the toilet, it had to be authorised by the room leader, the team leader, and the Captain. There was no time allowed for bowel movements, which was said to be "too time consuming." Practitioners had to wait until bedtime. 2004-01-27Around February 2000, during a public criminal trial at the Zhongfang County Police Department, Ms. Xiao was put on display with a large cardboard sign hung from her neck. The local television station broadcast the trial, in which Ms. Xiao was subjected to humiliation and personal insults.
