Ms. Wang Shupei Persecuted by "610 Office" Staff to the Verge of Death in a Zhaoyuan City Brainwashing Centre

Dafa practitioner Wang Shupei, is a 46 year old woman living in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. On February 25, 2004, Wang Shupei approached the Linglong Brainwashing Programme to explain the facts of the persecution of Falun Dafa to the director there, Ms. Song Shuqin, hoping that she would stop ordering persecution against Dafa Practitioners. Song Shuqin not only didn't listen to Wang, but also asked some guards to detain her in the brainwashing centre, and they also subjected Wang to brainwashing using force in order to get her to renounce her belief in Falun Dafa. This began a round of torture until she had to be admitted to a hospital for emergency treatment. She is currently on the verge of death. -
Barbaric Acts at a Tianjin City Women's Forced Labour Camp
2004-05-04Because she steadfastly practised Falun Gong, over 50 year old Ms. Yan Shujun, was abducted by the Tianjin City Public Security Bureau in November 2000. Then she was unjustly sentenced to two and half years of forced labour. In the labour camp she was subjected to shocking with electric batons. Then guards confined Ms. Yan to a 1.6 ft x 1 ft x 5 ft wooden cage where the 5-foot-7-inch tall Ms. Yan was forced into a partially-crouched position, for 8 days. Afterwards she had significant muscular and skeletal problems. -
The Suffering of Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Wang Haiqing in a Liaoning Province Forced Labour Camp
2004-05-04Mr. Wang Haiqing used to live in Fuxing City, Liaoning Province. Imprisoned in a labour camp the police threatened, "If anyone refuses to accept brainwashing, we'll push him out of a fourth floor window and tell the public he committed suicide." Undergoing these perpetual tortures, Mr. Wang's physical condition worsened, his arms and legs ceased to function, and his vision deteriorated. His distressed family requested that Mr Wang be released on medical grounds. Yet the camp refused claiming that after medical testing he had recovered. How could a patient who had almost lost the use of his eyes (as verified by hospital tests) and his limbs recover his health in a forced labour camp within several days? -
After Her Daughter Chen Ying Was Killed, Ms. Chen Xiuling Was Kidnapped and Tortured in Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp
2004-05-03"My name is Chen Xiuling, and I am 54 years old. I was a marketing director in Heilongjiang Province. My daughter Chen Ying, who is listed as the first among practitioners who were killed during the persecution, used to practise Falun Dafa with me. She was a good child. Dafa Practitioners Are Brutally Tortured at Tianjin City's Jianxin Forced Labour Camp
2004-05-03The Jianxin Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin City has been systematically persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, using extremely brutal, inhumane means. If practitioners refuse to write the "Three Statements" the guards threaten: "If you do not change your mind, what awaits you is only death, and your death will be counted as a natural death." Jiang Zemin and his followers refer to the brutal process of forcing people to give up their thoughts and belief as "transformation." This is the appalling truth of the so-called "transformation" we have witnessed. -

2004-04-29Policewoman Huang Haiyan, 37 years old, is from Liaoyang, Liaoning Province. Since the establishment of the Women's Second Department at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp, Huang has played an active role in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. During the past five years Huang has persecuted hundreds of Dafa practitioners directly or by giving orders to others. Huang uses very cruel methods against them. -
Exposing the Widespread Crimes of the Jiang Zemin Regime Against Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-04-27Since the 60th session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights was held on March 15, human rights abuses in China have received much attention. According to Clearwisdom.net reports, confirmations and information on the torture death of 83 practitioners have come from sources in China starting with practitioner Liu Chengjun's torture death on December 26, 2003, until April 5, 2004. There was a death case reported almost every day. Twenty-six of the deaths occurred this year, within the first three months of this year. -
Extreme Brutality in the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp and Belated News of Several Deaths
2004-04-26On March 19, 2001, the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp officials started a large-scale campaign of "Forceful Transformation" [to force practitioners to give up and renounce Falun Gong]. This savage "Forceful Transformation" caused one death and one severe injury among the practitioners. Two other deaths took place in the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp. One of the practitioners who died was Sun Lianxia, tortured to death on January 16, 2001. The other was practitioner Wang Qiuxia, who was beaten to death on June 10, 2001. -
Criminal Deeds of Fang Simin, a Cruel Persecutor of Dafa Practitioners in Shandong Province
2004-04-25Fang Simin, was promoted to vice director of the "610 Office"(1) in Mengyin, Shandong Province, as a reward for persecuting Dafa practitioners. To realize the "transformation" of practitioners by torture, he hired some jobless men (aged 18-22 and poorly educated) at a cheap price as his hatchet men in his detention place. He paid them 200 yuan a month and assigned them uniforms and did not let anyone know their names and addresses. Under Fang's instruction and incitement, these thugs freely beat and swore at the detained practitioners. Sometimes Fang personally participated in the torture. -
A Non-Practitioner's Eyewitness Account of the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at the Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp
2004-04-23Because of my wrongdoing, in 2003 I was sent to the Jilin Province Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp. When I first arrived, due to the deceptive propaganda I had received while out in the world, I held a biased view and had a bad impression of the Falun Gong practitioners detained at the camp. Later, however, through frequent contact with the practitioners, my viewpoint gradually changed. I found out that they were not like what the TV stations, radio stations, or the newspapers had broadcast. Falun Gong practitioners were actually good people in society. Yet the treatment they received in the camp was so terrible, you would not believe it! I am revealing this cruel goings-on so that I hope that more people may offer understanding and sympathy to those being so unjustly persecuted. -
Lives of Peril for Three Female Practitioners Who Suffered Torture and Abuse at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2004-04-22Ms. Wang Yan, about 37 years old, is believed to be from Dalian City. She was abducted and taken to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp where she was tortured to emaciation and later sent to a mental hospital. Ms. Wang Wenjun, about 40 years old, experienced brainwashing, sleep deprivation and slave labour. Exposed to toxic materials, the unbearable intensity of such labour severely damaged her health. She was tortured to the brink of death. Ms. Zhao Caihua, around 30 years old, was hung up for two days and one night. She was also forced to sit in the cross-leg position for over 10 hours, and was coughing blood at the end. At the end she could not walk at all. -
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Lanfen of Laiyang City Is Unlawfully Held in a Mental Hospital
2004-04-20On January 30, 2000, because Zhang Lanfen participated in a Falun Gong practitioners' experience sharing conference, the local officials illegally put her in the Laiyang City Mental Hospital, where she has suffered inhumane physical torture. The responsible parties forcibly gave her infusions and injections of unknown drugs. She was also forced to take large amounts of medicine orally, sometimes 11 pills at once. Therefore, Ms. Zhang could not sit up or stand steadily, and she often drooled uncontrollably. -
Personal Account: Resisting the Persecution in Miaoxi Prison
2004-04-20"I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in Xinjin County, Sichuan Province. In November 2000 I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and was illegally sentenced to three years in prison by the authorities in Xinjin, and sent to the Miaoxi Prison in Yaan, Jianyang City, Sichuan Province. In the prison, we suffered all sorts of tortures and humiliation. None of our rights as human beings were respected." -

2004-04-17Forced slavery in labour camps exists under the instigation of Chinese government policies. The establishment of these modern-day concentration camps masquerading as "re-education centres" is in fact in violation of China's own constitution. Camp conditions and procedures are not monitored or inspected, the camps are not required to publicize their activities, nor do they need any defense by attorneys. In fact, these "re-education centres" have become not only instruments of dictatorship but also criminal tools used at will by corrupt officials in China to lure foreign corporations that are uniformed of the true situation into participating in human rights abuses for the sake of profit.
