The Atrocities Committed at the Xishanping Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing

On November 23, 2001, the Chinese Ministry of Justice held a meeting in Haikou City, Hainan Province. The main topic of the meeting was how to force the Falun Gong practitioners held in either the prisons or the forced labour camps to renounce their belief in Falun Dafa. The Deputy Head of the Education Division of the Xishanping Forced Labour Camp shouted at a meeting to all the entire detainees "We will take strong measures to resolutely strike those Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to renounce their beliefs and are unwilling to reform themselves." -
Practitioners Tortured in Jiutai Labour Camp
2004-06-16Guards at the Jiutai Labour Camp in Jilin Province have been cruelly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners since they began detaining them. To the outside, they claimed that their policy was "Education, Reform, and Salvation," however they were actually following the policies of Jiang. Namely, "It doesn't matter if you kill a Falun Gong practitioner," and "those who are killed can be counted as suicide." Since March 2004, guards at the labour camp have also been fabricating documents and cheating practitioners because authorities there agreed to pay them 400 Yuan for "reforming" a practitioner. -
The Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Zhejiang Province
2004-06-16Mr. Ji Jianwei, a Falun Gong practitioner, was formerly a policeman in Huzhou City Police Station. Because Mr. Ji practises Falun Gong, he was detained at Huzhou City Detention Centre on criminal charges. Since Mr. Ji was a policeman himself, many policemen in the detention centre knew him. They all wondered why an outstanding policeman who used to catch all kinds of criminals was detained there. So the "610 Office" purposely transferred Mr. Ji to a detention centre in Changxing. He suffered many kinds of torture and intensive forced-labour there. -
Practitioner Chen Weiyuan's Account of the Atrocities She Witnessed in the Heizuizi Labour Camp
2004-06-15My name is Chen Weiyuan. I am 53 years old. I live in Jilin City. I have been arrested many times for helping the public learn the truth. I was put in Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp three times and suffered a lot from the many tortures imposed on Falun Gong practitioners. I also witnessed other practitioners being tortured. I experienced some memory loss because of the overwhelming trauma to my head and brain. Only after I left the labour camp and recovered for a long time, did my memory begin to recover. -
Persecution and Retribution
2004-06-14At the front of the parade was a Falun Gong practitioner carrying a sign that bore the large-sized Chinese character for “Mourning.” It was solemn and heartrending . As I watched the female practitioners attired in long, snow-white dresses, holding photos of the Falun Gong practitioners that had been tortured to death by the police in China, tears welled up in my eyes. All the people in the pictures were beaming with a glow of kindness. You could tell that they were not only innocent and law-abiding civilians, but also honest and trustworthy people. -

2004-06-11In the beginning of 2004, Jiang Zemin encouraged his confidant, Chen Zhili, the current Secretary of the Department of Education, to start a campaign throughout the nation's educational system under the slogan, "Fight the XX (slanderous words omitted) and Alert the Educational System!" Chen Zhili created the slogan, "Fight the XX," to defame Falun Gong. This is the second time that Jiang and his followers have attempted to poison and corrupt Chinese youth since 2001, when they conducted the "One Million Signature" campaign to attack Falun Gong. -

2004-06-10"My name is Liu Liang and I live in Jiaozhou City. I started practising Falun Dafa in 1997, when I was fifteen years old. Since I began following the principles of Falun Dafa, my teachers, parents and my classmates recognized me as a good student, a good son, and a good classmate. At the end of July 1999, I went to appeal for Falun Gong in Beijing. I was sent to the Changping Detention Centre. Eyewitness Account: Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Fuzhen was Injected with a Poisonous Drug and Died in Extreme Pain
2004-06-08Ms Zhang Fuzhen was a Falun Gong practitioner from Pingdu City, Shandong Province. In 2001, she was arrested and sent to a brainwashing class to be persecuted. Ms Sun Fuxiang was assigned to monitor Zhang Fuzhen. She recalled, "they injected some unknown poisonous drug into her. As soon as she was injected with the drug, she felt unbearable pain. She struggled as if she were being driven out of her mind, and she died very painfully. The officials from the "610 Office" witnessed the whole course of Ms. Zhang's death." -

2004-06-08My name is Chen Teng, and I am 16 years old. I live in Weifang City, Shandong Province. My family was broken up simply because they remained determined to practise Falun Gong, the practice which brought us such happiness. My grandma, who was an outstanding teacher and my aunt who was also a teacher both died as a result of the persecution. My mum, Sun Xiaomei was arrested many times and now is in detention again. As for myself, I can't go to school any more and I was forced to leave my home when I was 12 years old. -

Over 70 Sichuan Province Teachers Dismissed from Their Jobs Because They Practise Falun Dafa
2004-06-06In 2003 over 70 teachers, who admitted to being Falun Dafa practitioners were dismissed from their jobs in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province. During the second term in 2003, the "610 Office" threatened the teachers with "suspension or dismissal from their posts" and forced the 70 teachers who practise Falun Dafa to attend a government brainwashing programme. They were told that they could not return to teaching until they completed the brainwashing programme and renounced their belief in Falun Dafa. The teachers all possess excellent academic credentials and teaching skills. -

2004-06-06Many people in Yupin County of Guizhou Province know Mr. Zhao Youde. The changes he showed after beginning Falun Dafa practice are so touching that the officers in the police station also admire him. When Jiang's regime began persecuting Falun Gong, Zhao Youde was illegally arrested and has been cruelly persecuted by Jiang's regime. He was locked up and told he would be detained for eight years. Zhao Youde's parents died one after the other, grieving over such wrongs, and having nowhere to appeal for their son's innocence.
