Update on Four Liaoning Province Dafa Practitioners Arrested on a Train

Four Dafa practitioners in Liaoning Province were arrested on train No. 1230 from Fuxin to Shanghai. They are currently detained at the Jinan Railroad Detention Centre and started a hunger strike to protest the detention. Their families called Jinan Railroad Detention Centre and Jinan Railroad Police Station many times. They were told, "You can bring them some clothing, but you can't see them." -
I Witnessed Persecution in Lanzhou Women's Labour Camp in Gansu Province
2007-01-28The police from the labour camp often forced all detained Falun Gong practitioners to write a so-called "guarantee statement" to give up practising Falun Gong. If anybody refused to do so, they would torture her with many different methods. Once, Ms. Zhang Xuxia shouted "Falun Dafa is good" in the labour camp. She was taken to a garrison room and a female guard instructed a prison inmate to beat her badly. I saw her mouth bleeding and swollen after she came back. Falun Gong practitioners who refused to be "transformed" were forced to sleep on the cement floor and beaten black and blue. -
Practitioner Yang Xiuqin from Liaoning Province Describes Persecution She Has Endured Since 1999
2007-01-27In March 2000 I was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. Guard Fang Yehong ordered an inmate to take me to the toilet where they attempted to force me to give up my cultivation and belief. I refused. the inmate beat me. She slapped my face, making it swell, then pushed my chest with her leg, and hit my back with her elbow and fist. My chest and back became black and purple. I vomited, felt dizzy and had a headache, which was very painful. They also deprived me of sleep and forced me to read the books that slander Falun Gong. I refused to read, so they verbally abused me and beat me. Each day spent in that Masanjia camp seemed like a year. -
Mr. Wu Youchui Sentenced to Three Years in Prison for Telling People "Falun Dafa Is Good"
2007-01-26Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Youchui is in his 50s. Mr. Wu and his wife started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1998 and both became mentally and physically healthy. He was arrested by policemen from Boxi District Police Department in Cangzhou City simply because he told people that Falun Dafa is good. He was detained for eight months in the Cangzhou City Second Detention Centre and was sentenced to three years in prison, which is a very heavy term. -
Forced to Become Destitute and Homeless for Three Years, Mr. Xu Jingwen's Family of Three from Gansu Province Arrested
2007-01-25In mid-December 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Jingwen and his son, Xu Changfeng, 19 years old, were arrested at home by local police and their belongings confiscated. The approximately 9000 yuan that the family had borrowed from relatives to pay for the eldest son's wedding was also taken. Afterwards, the police arrested Mr. Xu's wife, Ms. Xu Guixiang, and sent this family of three to the Yongchang County Detention Centre in Jinchang City. Prior to this, Mr. Xu Jingwen and his wife had been forced to become destitute and homeless for three years to avoid arrest. -
Three Practitioners Arrested on the Jinan City Railway and Sentenced to Forced Labour
2007-01-24Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Yingwei, Ms. Li Guang, Ms. Li Xiaoyan and Ms. Zhou Yingchun were arrested on the evening of December 13th, 2006 by the chief of the Jinzhou City Railway Policemen Department, when they spoke out for justice and explained the facts about Falun Dafa to passengers on the train. They were detained at Jinan City Railway Detention Centre for about a month. At present, Ms. Li Guang has been sentenced to two years of forced labour, Ms. Li Xiaoyan sentenced to eighteen months , and Ms. Zhou Yingchun has been sentenced to two years. They are being detained in Shandong Province, at the First Women's Labour Camp. -
Corrupt Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Officials in Xinjiang Autonomous Region Attempt to Sentence Dafa Practitioners Ms. Wang Junhua and Mr. Zhang Zhiming to 10 Years in Prison
2007-01-23Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Junhua and Mr. Zhang Zhiming from Tianshui City, Gansu Province have been detained for one year in Hutubi County, Xinjiang Autonomous Region. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities are attempting to sentence them to 10 years in prison. Ms. Wang Junhua was reported for distributing out Dafa leaflets exposing the persecution and arrested. The police extorted over 10,000 yuan from her. Mr. Zhang Zhiming was searched by a policeman while walking on the street and because he had Dafa leaflets with him, he was arrested and tortured by the police. The police also stole 10,000 yuan from his bank account. -
After Five Years of Torture in Prison, Ms. Shi Dengling from Guizhou Province Has Been Arrested Again by Chinese Communist Party Authorities
2007-01-22Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Dengling has for the past five years while imprisoned in Duyun Jail, been brutally tortured for refusing to renounce her beliefs. She was recently released in September 2006. However, on December 25th, 2006, she was arrested again by the officials from the 610 Office, the local community committee and the police station. She was taken to the Lannigou Brainwashing Centre for further persecution. Ms. Shi's young daughter and mother, who is still recovering from a serious illness, are grieving for her suffering again. -
Older Practitioner Ms. Hu Zhenru Arrested in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province - Her Daughter from Hong Kong Asks for Help in Rescuing Her Mother

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Zhenru, 59, began practising Falun Dafa in 1999. She was arrested on January 14th, 2007 and taken to Nanjing City Detention Centre. As she was being arrested, her home was ransacked by seven or eight police officers. Her husband and younger daughter resisted the ransacking of their home, and condemned the police for violating the law. The police injured her husband with brutal force. -
Liu Shuping Detained at the Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin for Nearly Six Years
2007-01-18Ms. Liu Shuping's term at the Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin has been extended four times. January 1st, 2006, was her release date after the second extension of six months. By then, she had been detained at the labour camp for five and a half years. When her family members arrived in the labour camp after travelling 60 miles, the staff at the detention centre said that her term had been extended for another four months. Now it's been far longer than four months, yet Ms. Liu is still detained at the labour camp. -
Many Practitioners Recently Arrested in Pingyuan County, Shandong Province
2007-01-17In the first half of 2006 alone, the police in Pingyuan County ransacked five practitioners' homes, arrested ten practitioners and sentenced two practitioners to a forced labour camp. In addition, the local police have ransacked and harassed more than twenty households of local practitioners and extorted money from them. Since November 2006, police have been conducting illegal searches at will in Yuzhuang Village, Qiancao Town. They forced practitioners to renounce Falun Gong and sign guarantees not to practise Falun Gong. Those practitioners who refused to comply were arrested or fined. -
New Crimes Committed by the 610 Office of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province
2007-01-17Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiaoyuan has been missing since December 20th, 2006. It was later learned that the 610 Office arrested her because she practised Falun Dafa. She is the second practitioner who has been arrested in November 2006 from the Dou District and she is currently being detained in the Sanshui Forced Labour Camp. In her previous detention police officers tortured her by giving her unknown drugs. -
89 of Ms. Bai Yufang's Neighbours Condemn the Elderly Practitioner's Arrest and Detention by Beijing National Security Bureau
2007-01-16On October 26th, 2006, the Beijing National Security Bureau and the Neighbourhood Committee of the Institute of Air Force Equipment collaborated to arrest Falun Dafa practitioner 72-year-old Ms. Bai Yufang and ransack her house. Ms. Bai has been detained for over 68 days for "Practising Falun Gong, serving and leading the group," and "distributing flyers of counter-revolutionary propaganda." -
Recalling the Savage Abuses I Was Made to Endure at Shayang Forced Labour Camp, Hubei Province
2007-01-14My name is Dong Dengzhi. I was arrested on August 29th, 2003 for handing out Falun Gong leaflets exposing the persecution and was sent to Shayang Forced Labour Camp in Jingmen City. As soon as I arrived, the camp officials designated two criminals to monitor me. They attempted to force me to write a guarantee statement to renounce Falun Dafa, but I refused. One criminal hit me hard on my chest, stomach and back, kicked my genital area very hard, which made me scream. -
Disabled Practitioners Arrested and Persecuted by Police in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-01-14On December 22nd, 2006, practitioners Mr. Jin Chengshan and Ms. Cui Xin were arrested by the police. Mr. Jin and Ms. Cui are both disabled and are unable to walk or even to tend to themselves. The Deputy Bureau Chief of the Hulan Public Security Bureau Jiang Jimin, relied on the influence Jiang Jizhi, his brother, to become the mayor of the Hulan District. In the past few years, he has sent more than 60 practitioners to labour camps, more than 20 other practitioners were sentenced to prison, and three practitioners were persecuted to death. Now, he has arrested two disabled practitioners who cannot even tend to their daily needs.
