Czech Republic: People Show Their Support for Practitioners' Anti-persecution Efforts

Two days before the summer holiday began, on July 1st and 2nd 2005, Czech practitioners once again met in the two cities of Ceska Lipa and Litomerice. It was cloudy with light rain, but we felt the local people’s concern about learning the Falun Gong exercises and the efforts of practitioners to stop the persecution happening in China. They wanted to know more and asked for information. -
Germany: Berlin Candlelight Vigil in Memory of Gao Rongrong

On the 16th of June 2005, Gao Rongrong lost her life in China through unimaginable, brutal and inhumane torture by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). On the 7th of July, Falun Gong practitioners from Berlin and Leipzig gathered at the Breitscheidtplatz and held a candlelight vigil to commemorate her murder. -
Germany: Introducing the Falun Gong Exercises During a Cultural Event in Wiesbaden

On July 8th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from nearby areas were invited to take part in the annual Wiesbaden town district cultural event. One of the categories for the event was entitled “Martial Arts, Healing and Meditation”, which Falun Gong practitioners participated in, introducing the fives sets of slow-moving and peaceful Falun Gong exercises. -
France: Speech Delivered In Paris On Behalf of Germany's International Society for Human Rights

It is a shame to humanity that in the 21st Century a party is celebrating 84 years of killing, cheating, deception, brainwashing and physical and mental torture. Since the CCP took power in China 80 million abnormal deaths have occurred as a direct result of its tyranny. -
France: Every Year, the Falun Gong Association Meets High Levels of Government on National Day

From 2002 to 2005, every year on National Day, Falun Gong practitioners have had the chance to meet the French President, Prime Minister, Ministers, Members of Parliament and other non-political VIPs. On this year’s National Day, July 13th 2005, four representatives from the French Falun Gong Association were invited to a Garden Party at the Ministry of Overseas Department. -
Germany: Exposing the CCP’s Crimes in Hamburg

Hamburg’s “Stadteilfest Altonale” was celebrated on the weekend of June 18th and 19th 2005. Falun Gong practitioners participated in this event to let people know about the Falun Gong practice and the severe human rights abuses that are being inflicted on practitioners in China by the Communist Party. Practitioners from Hamburg and surrounding areas of Bremen, Bielefeld and even Denmark, participated in this activity. We began the activities by first sending righteous thoughts, while a small group demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Passers-by were attracted to this activity and enjoyed watching the exercises. -
Latvia: Appeal at the Chinese Embassy for an End to the Persecution Against Falun Gong Practitioners

Falun Gong practitioners in Latvia staged a peaceful appeal at the Chinese Embassy to raise public awareness of the six years of cruel persecution against the practice in China. Many people accepted flyers from the practitioners. After hearing the facts about Falun Gong, they expressed their sympathy to the persecuted practitioners and hoped that this persecution can end as soon as possible. -
France: In the Square of Human Rights in Paris, French Practitioners Promote Falun Gong and Expose the Persecution

On the 3rd of July 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in France held activities to promote Falun Gong and expose the persecution on Human Rights Square right opposite the Eiffel Tower. Tourists from all over the world queued up to sign a petition calling for an end to the persecution. Some of them got a practitioner to teach them the Falun Gong exercises on the spot. -
United Kingdom: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the CCP Persecution during the G8 Summit

During the G8 summit, tourists from all over the world gathered in Edinburgh. On July the 7th and 8th, UK Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Princess Street to promote Falun Gong and collect signatures calling for the rescue of the illegally imprisoned family members of UK practitioners whose family members are still in China. -
Chinese Student in Switzerland Appeals for the Rescue of his Illegally Imprisoned Mother in China
2005-07-14My name is Wang Xiaoyang and I am a Chinese student studying in Switzerland. I have three close relatives in China: my eighty-four-year old grandmother, my sixty-year old father who has not been well, and my fifty-four-year old mother. My mother is a Falun Gong practitioner and is the centre of the family, who provides both financial and spiritual support. They are ordinary law-abiding citizens whose only desire is to live a peaceful life. -
France: Raising Awareness about the Persecution Against Falun Gong during the Paris Summer Sale Season

In France, around July each year, there is always a big summer sale with massive retail price reductions. In Paris, the busiest street at this time of year would be Boulevard Haussmann. On the 2nd of July, practitioners met on this street with banners and leaflets to let people know about the persecution that people who practise Falun Gong are suffering in China. -
Spain: People in Toledo, the Former Spanish Capital, Support Falun Gong

Spanish Falun Gong practitioners visited this ancient city for the sixth time. However, this was the first time that the anti-torture exhibition, featuring simulations of some of the evil methods that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) uses in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs, had been seen in Toledo. Many people signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution. -
Latvia: “We Need Compassion and Tolerance”

Local practitioners and practitioners from Liga held a Falun Gong exercise demonstration at Rose Square in the central area of the city, and taught local people the exercises. In the meantime, they also held an exhibition to introduce the popularity of Falun Gong around the world, the recognition it has received worldwide and the facts about the ongoing persecution against Falun Gong in China. -
Finland: Finnish People Support Falun Gong Practitioners

A group of Falun Gong practitioners from Finland, Sweden, Germany and Russia organised a ten day long ant-torture exhibition tour around five cities across Finland. On the 22nd and 23rd of June, the group arrived at the final stop, the city of Lahti. Kind-hearted people expressed their sympathy and support to Falun Gong practitioners in various ways. -
Germany: Falun Gong brings a Peaceful Atmosphere to the Regensburg Citizens Festival

Falun Gong practitioners set up a stand at the annual Citizens Festival in Regensburg. A large number of passing tourists read about rescuing Falun Gong practitioners deported back to China on the display boards. They signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution.
