    Practitioners from northern England got together in York, which is a famous tourist city in the U.K., to introduce Falun Gong and explain the facts about the persecution. Though it was raining, many passersby stopped to look at photos of the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China.

    Recently, an Italian nationwide daily newspaper IL GIORNALE carried an article regarding the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. This newspaper has carried similar reports several times in the past.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution in Nurnberg during the Fields of Shame Exhibition

    Falun Gong practitioners were invited to the exhibition Fields of Shame which was held from October 15th to 17th in Nurnberg. They informed visitors about the continuing persecution of practitioners in China. The exhibition can be viewed in various German cities until December 10th, International Human Rights Day.
  • Ukraine: Anti-Torture Exhibition held at the Chinese Consulate in Support of “The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice” Launched in Sydney

    On October 19th, a local rally in front of the Chinese Consulate in Sydney marked the launch of “The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice” in Australia. To support The Coalition, on the afternoon of October 25th Ukrainian practitioners held a peaceful rally outside the Chinese Consulate in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

    A six year-old girl exercising in the rain. She says, "My mum and I are doing exercises in front of the Chinese Embassy. The persecution has been going on for six years and it is not good. My best friend, Fadu’s father was killed by those wicked police in China. I would be heartbroken if I couldn’t see my father. I hope the persecution ends immediately.”
  • German Newspaper Osnabrücker Sonntagszeitung: Many Goods Come from Countless Labour Camps

    "Wei Xiong herself has experienced forced labour lasting ten to fifteen hours a day. The range of torture went from brainwashing sessions to forced upright standing without food, drink or bathroom facilities. The persecution of Falun Gong is the most brutal she has seen in China. In addition, it is very common that free Christians, protesting students, dispossessed homeowners, or farmers who appeal government ordinances are persecuted and tortured."
  • European Friends of Falun Gong Writes to UK Prime Minister Before Visit of CCP Leader

    "It is important that Mr Hu realizes that the UK respects justice, democracy and supports human rights and that this is the underpinning to sustain long-term stability and prosperity in our trade and economic partnership with China. We believe the UK’s responsibility is clear and our voice is critical in bringing an end to the systemic persecution in China. The UK must act according to international human rights agreements, otherwise the UK is sending a message that it condones genocide and human rights violations."
  • United Kingdom: Practitioners Take the Opportunity of CCP leader’s Visit to Raise Awareness of the Persecution

    Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Hu Jintao is going to visit the UK next week. UK Falun Gong practitioners are using his visit as an opportunity to raise awareness about the CCP’s human rights abuses against Falun Gong to the British society. In the past few days, practitioners from London and outside London have gathered in the capital city to hold an anti-torture exhibition, collect petition signatures and giving out flyers promoting Falun Gong and exposing the CCP’s campaign of genocide against Falun Gong.
  • UK Falun Gong Association Requests Government to Bar the Entry of Bo Xilai

    The UK Falun Gong Association has requested the UK Home Office to bar entry to Bo Xilai. Bo Xilai is a high-ranking member of the Chinese Communist Party who is guilty of crimes against humanity, genocide and the use of torture against Falun Gong practitioners in China. Such crimes are illegal under international law in accordance with the UN Conventions on Torture and Genocide and are crimes under Section 86 of the UK Criminal Justice Act of 1988.
  • Germany: The People of Hannover Call for an End to the Persecution Against Falun Gong Practitioners

    Many people expressed not only sorrow and consternation at the human rights abuses against Falun Gong but also asked how they can support and help practitioners in China. They were happy to add their names onto the petition that will be presented to the German Federal President, Horst Koehler, who will meet with Chinese leader Hu Jintao in early November 2005 in Berlin.
  • UK MP Urges Prime Minister to Raise Human Right Issues with Chinese Communist Party Head

    Dr Liam Fox MP has written a letter to European Friends of Falun Gong saying: “I fully appreciate your concerns about China’s record on human rights. I have today asked the Prime Minister to raise these issues during the State Visit of President Hu.” Dr Fox points out that China “remains a politically repressive state, centrally driven by the Party and for the Party. Its human rights record is appalling……Democracy has to be more than just the holding of intermittent ballots – it has to be supported with free markets, a meaningful rule of law and respect for human rights.”
  • Finland: Promoting Falun Gong on International Oulu Day

    Many tourists stopped to watch the exercise demonstrations on the stage, read the posters and take leaflets. Some also took the initiative to talk with practitioners to understand what Falun Gong is, why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong, where to learn the exercises, etc. Some even walked straight up to sign the petition and express their support.
  • Belgium Standaard: Chinese Communist Party's Gestapo-Like 610 Office

    On October 19th, 2005, former 610 office1 staff Hao Fengjun and former diplomat of Chinese Consulate in Sydney Chenyong Lin testified at European Parliament. The two both stated that they could not tolerate the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and disclosed the nature of 610 office, an agency which was established by CCP to persecute Falun Gong and is similar to Gestapo in nature.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Persecution Prior to Hu Jintao’s Visit to Germany

    On October 27th and 28th, 2005, the nationwide tour of a human rights photo exhibition entitled “Shameful Regions” reached Cologne. As direct victims of the Chinese Communist regime, the Falun Gong group was invited to join the exhibition tour and gave live re-enactments of torture methods to expose the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.
