Italy: Practitioners in Rome Raise Awareness about Falun Gong

Falun Gong practitioners in Rome held an activity near Saint Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, commemorating the eighth anniversary of the April 25th peaceful appeal by Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing. They condemned the Chinese Communist regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong and trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners. -
Comparisons Between the Holocaust and the Genocide of Falun Gong Practitioners in China
2007-05-12On May 1st, a new law meant to put an end to organ harvesting was supposed to be enacted in China and already experts have designated it to be ineffective. David Matas, a respected Canadian human rights attorney, together with David Kilgour, the former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia and Pacific Affairs, have collected evidence showing that China harvests organs from Falun Gong practitioners. Matas, who is Jewish, compared the dilemma of Falun Gong practitioners in China with that of the Jews during the Third Reich. -

Passersby read information boards about Zhang Weijie’s kidnap, while others read posters about the persecution which the CCP inflicts on Falun Gong practitioners. One young lady said, "I know that the CCP only does bad deeds". -

Falun Gong practitioners from the capital of Ukraine made use of their three day vacation and went to western Ukraine to raise awareness about Falun Gong, expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, and expose the evil nature of the CCP. During the three days, practitioners visited four cities. -
MP's Statement During Activities in London to Commemorate April 25th: “I share your concerns about the persecution of Falun Gong”
2007-05-09This statement by David Marshall, Member of Parliament for Glasgow East, was read at a press conference opposite the Chinese Embassy in London on Saturday April 28th 2007. The press conference was the start of a day of activities to commemorate April 25th 1999 when Falun Gong practitioners in China appealed to the government to release fellow practitioners who were wrongfully imprisoned. This appeal was used by members of the Chinese Communist Party as an excuse to publicly launch the persecution against Falun Gong, which had previously been happening clandestinely.
