Hungary: Informing People about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

Czech and Slovak practitioners of Falun Gong wanted to help Hungarian practitioners to inform more people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The Hungarian practitioners in particular were thankful for a chance to meet such a big group and be able to talk to them about cultivation. -

One of the main focuses of the practitioners' protest was the recent organ harvesting atrocities that have been exposed worldwide. Practitioners held banners that called for organ harvesting to stop and also handed out Falun Gong Today newspapers that gave the public detailed and undeniable evidence that these atrocities are ongoing. -
European Parliament Resolution Urges Major Chinese Reforms

The European Parliament adopted a resolution expressing alarm over a range of Chinese economic, foreign policy, environmental and human rights issues, including the forced removal of organs from imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners. The resolution was passed ahead of the summit in Helsinki between the European Union's executive body and China. -

Sweden: Practitioners File Criminal Complaint Against Chinese Minister of Commerce
2006-09-17The Swedish Falun Dafa Association filed a criminal complaint against Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai during his visit to Sweden on September 15th. The complaint accused him of the murder, torture and abduction of Falun Gong practitioners in China, in accordance to Swedish national laws and the United Nation Convention against torture. -

On the first weekend in September, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners participated in an annual cultural festival in the old city of Liesel. There were more than one hundred organisations taking part in this activity. Proclamation for Cambridge Falun Dafa Art Exhibition: “Honouring Falun Dafa”

On August 15th, 2006, the "Truthfulness, Compassion & Tolerance” art exhibition was held in the Lord Rank Room of Wesley House in Cambridge. A proclamation was written for the exhibition by practitioners who organised the event and signed by Mayor of Cambridge Robert Dryden and Cambridge MP David Howarth, who also gave a speech at the opening ceremony. European Commissioner’s Concern about Organ Harvesting in China
2006-09-16"For the moment I can assure you that the European Commission attaches the utmost importance to the issue of organ harvesting. It is clear that the legislation on this recently adopted by the Chinese government does not adequately address the issue of donor consent, particularly for the those who have died in custody or have been executed. We have made our concerns known to the Chinese government both through our human rights dialogue and wider political channels, urging them in strong terms to take measures to address these concerns as a matter of urgency. We will continue to do so." -

On September 9th, 2006, at the time of the EU summit meeting held in the Finnish capital Helsinki, Friends of Falun Gong, volunteers from The Epoch Times newspaper and Falun Gong practitioners held an assembly and parade activity supporting the thirteen million people who have withdrawn from the CCP and protesting against CCP organ harvesting. -

2006-09-15“This cheque has particular symbolic value,” said Erich Bachmann. He received the cheque worth 2,200 Swiss Francs from Hong Kong’s Ministry of Justice, “after we were acquitted by the highest Court of Appeal, which is comparable to our Federal Court.” What happened? In March 2002, Erich Bachmann and fifteen other Falun Gong practitioners held a protest against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China in a public area in Hong Kong. In 1999, the former President of China ordered this movement to be banned.
