Many visitors became curious and stopped to watch the practitioners sitting upright in the double lotus position, meditating despite all the noise and loud music. We established a harmonious environment, which was a centre of attention at the festival.
  • Swedish National TV: Organs for Sale

    Since a while back it is known that China is selling organs taken from prisoners sentenced to death ... However, it is now claimed in a report published recently that the organs that are for sale on the internet also come from Falun Gong practitioners ... David Matas: "They are treated as, as less than human beings and the rhetoric suggests this whole evil cult propaganda that China makes it easier for people caught up in the system to kill these people without having the qualms of conscience they might have in killing others".
  • United Kingdom: Exposing the Persecution Against Falun Gong to the People of Huddersfield

    On the 30th of September 2006 practitioners of Falun Gong came from various parts of England to take part in activities at Huddersfield in the North of England. Accompanied by the warm weather, a table was set up containing petitions for passers-by to sign to help stop the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.
  • Switzerland: Exposing the CCP's Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong in Front of the United Nations

    During the second session of the UN Human Rights Council, a five-day sculpture exhibition was held in front of the United Nations in Geneva. They raised awareness about the persecution among passersby and distributed leaflets about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Germany: Exposing CCP Crimes during the Munich Beer Festival

    German Falun Gong practitioners joined an activity to support the thirteen million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party in Munich’s Karlsplatz square. It was at the time of the Beer Festival and the city was bustling with tourists from around the world. Many German people and people from other places were shocked by the CCP’s human rights abuses.
  • Finland: School Students Show Concern About the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Students were very active, and there were many questions to deal with. The practitioners explained about the persecution and the practice while answering questions. The allotted class time had soon passed, but the teacher knew students still had questions to ask the practitioners and promised to arrange such a discussion in the future.
  • United Kingdom: Car Tour in Southern England to Raise Awareness about the Persecution

    In mid-September, UK practitioners started a five-day car tour in southern England to spread the truth of Falun Gong and to urge the British people, the media and VIPs to pay attention to the inhuman crime of organ harvesting on live Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The second stop of the car tour was Exeter. ITV, one of the UK's main television channels, came to video the activity. The biggest local newspaper also sent a reporter to take some photos. A local MP came to welcome the car tour participants. The practitioners divided into two groups. One group were in a shopping centre to giving out leaflets. Another group went to the city council and the university newspaper to deliver information about the organ harvesting issue to them.
  • Organ Harvesting in China is Discussed at the UN Human Rights Council

    Mr. Manfred Nowak, specially assigned for the issue of torture, made a report to the Council and said that torture is widely used in the People’s Republic of China. Former Canadian Secretary of State David Kilgour brought up the issue of the CCP having removed organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and then cremating their bodies to eliminate the evidence.
  • Germany: Re-enactment of Organ Harvesting by Falun Gong Practitioners in Hamburg

    On September 14th 2006, German Falun Gong practitioners held an information day to expose the seven years of persecution that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners. They set up a stall containing leaflets and other information on Ida-Ehrplatz (Ida-Honour Square) in downtown Hamburg.
  • Russia Border Officials Deny Entry to Ukrainian Falun Gong Practitioners

    On September 26th 2006, Russian customs officials denied entry to seven Falun Gong practitioners who took a train from Kiev to Moscow. From the officials, the practitioners did not get any concrete reasons for the denied entry. It was the third instance of Russian customs denying entry to Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners. Someone told the practitioners that the order was from the Russian Border Administration Bureau, which received a telegram with "confidential" notice from higher level administration. Thus the Border Administration Bureau had no power to give out any information or explain the reasons.
  • German Media Reports Falun Gong Practitioners’ Protests during Wen Jiabao’s Visit

    During Chinese leader Wen Jiabao’s visit to Germany, Falun Gong practitioners organised activities in Hamburg and Berlin to protest against the Chinese Communist regime’s human rights abuses. They called on Wen to help end the persecution of Falun Gong in China, bring the main culprits of the persecution to justice, and release the illegally detained human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng. Gao wrote three open letters to Chinese leaders Hu and Wen calling them to stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. He was secretly detained by the regime a month ago.
  • Germany: A Former Employee of Volkswagen Changchun China Writes to the CEO of the Parent Company in Germany

    From 2000 to 2003, at least ten Falun Gong practitioners in China were dismissed by FAW-Volkswagen Co. Ltd for practicing Falun Gong. The headquarters of the company in Germany keeps silent about such wrongdoing. A former engineer in FAW-VW of Changchun wrote to the CEO Mr.Pischetsrieder.   • Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the CCP's Atrocities on Gandhi Square in Moscow

    On September 15th, 2006, Russian Falun Gong practitioners staged a rally in Indira Gandhi Square, Moscow to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Gong. In particular, activities were held to disclose the CCP crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners distributed leaflets and collected signatures.
  • Germany: Widespread Support for Falun Gong and Condemnation of the Chinese Communist Regime's Persecution of the Practice

    Before Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao headed a four hundred people delegation to attend the “Hamburg China-Europe Summit” in Germany from September 13th to September 15th, the human rights division of the German Falun Gong Association called on the political and media communities in Germany to rescue Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China. To put an end to the seven year old persecution, they also launched a campaign to invite the general public to sign a petition on a website.
  • Russia: Introducing Falun Gong to the People of Tomsk

    As on previous weekends, Falun Gong practitioners in Russia’s Tomsk went to a park along the Tomsk River to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises to the general public. They also distributed leaflets to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of innocent people who believe in the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.
