Another Discussion About Group Fa-Study
2004-04-24 However, some fellow practitioners did not realise their problems in Fa-study at all, or, even though they did realise the problems, they could not do anything about it. For example, when the equipment was having problems, they couldn't simply ignore it. Therefore they would be trapped in tribulations for a long time and couldn't break through. They would unconsciously create a bad circle, which manifested in such a way that they would become busier and busier, and become too busy to study the Fa. -
Positive Encouragement
2004-04-23I believe that positive encouragement will help each practitioner boost his confidence in cultivation and reinforce his righteous faith in Teacher and Dafa, and thus become more diligent in his cultivation. I believe that positive encouragement will help each practitioner who is suffering from tribulation overcome the tribulations and reinstate his diligence in cultivation. I also believe that positive encouragement will help those who have tripped and fallen in their cultivation to get up, make up for the losses, and catch up with the Fa-rectification. -
Explaining the Facts of the Persecution to Friends and Relatives Using Kindness and Wisdom

They asked me immediately, "We heard that you and your husband practiced Falun Gong, that you lost your job and your husband is being held in the forced labour camp. Are you still practicing? What can you tell us about Falun Gong?" Another relative said, "As soon as we saw that you are in such good shape and took such a long trip to visit us, we understood that the TV propaganda is all lies." The third person said, "I have been sick for a long time, but I got well this morning. It seems to be related to your coming." -

2004-04-20I used to suffer from continuous illnesses before practicing, but I am completely healthy now. Years of practicing Falun Gong brought happiness and joy to our family, and we learned to treat others with respect and kindness. The whole village praised Falun Dafa. Many people came to our house to learn Falun Gong. After my sister got married and moved to another village, she brought Falun Dafa to that village, as well. -
The Attachment Behind Dishonesty
2004-04-20On another occasion, I stayed in a hotel with other people and had to check out early because of a change in my plans. I should have paid for my share of the whole reservation. But I only paid for the nights that I actually stayed at the hotel, which means that other people who were sharing the room with me had to pay more. I noticed many of these types of dishonest deeds. These things are looked down upon even by ordinary people and I am supposed to be a cultivator. After I kept doing dishonest things, I was compelled to look squarely at the problem. -

2004-04-19Zhu Xiaoyan is a young girl from northern China, who is now studying in Western Europe. She started to practise Falun Gong in 1996 in China, and her hobby is dancing. Earlier this year, she once performed a solo dance dubbed "Dunhuang’s Dancing Rhythms" at the Chinese New Year Gala organised by the New Tang Dynasty Television company in Paris and at a concert organised by a human rights organisation in Geneva. The audience was carried away by her graceful and elegant performances with classic flavours, and perceived the holiness, harmony as well as the gracefulness and beauty of the paradises. -
Showing the Beauty of Falun Gong With Music
2004-04-18Normally when being on stage I am most often lost in thoughts, and I can't enter into the music as much as I want. But this time wasn't like anything else I have I had ever experienced on stage. With so many righteous voices singing with a Dafa disciple's pure heart and compassion, the energy was so powerful. When we sang the line "Falun Dafa Hao", the audience clapped their hands. I felt that moment we were singing for the whole universe! I became a little bit too emotional so my voice was trembling. -
Not Acknowledging the Test of Emotion
2004-04-18Regardless of the reason, in my opinion, it is not a good thing for a practitioner to undergo divorce, especially if it is due to the pressure of the persecution, for it may be very difficult for the people around them to understand the reason for the divorce. Deceived by the false propaganda, instead of realizing that it is in reality this persecution that has made Falun Gong practitioners' families break apart, the people who don't understand the facts might even think that you are abandoning your family because you practice Falun Gong. -
A Suggestion: Overseas Practitioners Should Continue to Frequently Practise The Falun Gong Exercises Together Outdoors
2004-04-17Falun Gong has spread far and wide throughout the world. Falun Gong practitioners should frequently practise outdoors together, since it forms a great environment for group practise all over the world (except in China, due to the persecution currently underway there). This is a tangible exhibition of the spread of Dafa in the world and is the undeniable responsibility of each practitioner. -
Small Things Are Not So Small
2004-04-17I also heard some practitioners when clarifying the truth to their families say that, "I have told you but you refuse to listen to me. In the future when I achieve consummation and return to my original position, let's see what you can do!" In fact, we can understand that when Dafa practitioners clarify the truth to their families, they have good intentions towards their families, and they just could not maintain their character at that time. But this is still an irrational action caused by everyday people's attachment to emotion and will bring negative effects. -

2004-04-16I obtained the Fa in Changchun in 1996, when I was in my first year of senior high school. During the summer holidays I went back to my hometown and met a friend. Chatting with me, my friend mentioned Falun Gong. On July 20th 1999, I made an appeal for Falun Gong together with other practitioners in the People's Square. I was the only student from the University of Science and Technology in Shanghai to make an appeal for Falun Gong and my name was unlawfully recorded. -

There is sufficient time for us to accomplish a holistic upgrade of our understanding as a whole body based on the Fa, if we can make full use of these four weeks to exchange and share our understanding from the Fa about the importance of this event and its significance in Fa-rectification. 2004-04-15I usually choose a happy and light-hearted tone when I chat. I am from Taiwan. As soon as the people from China hear that, they are often very interested in the situation in Taiwan. In a casual conversation, the topic is easily led to Falun Gong. I tell them about the freedom of belief and no one should control what others believe or not believe. This is an easy topic for everyone to agree upon. Then I tell them the current situation in China where people's freedom of belief is being violated by the government with an iron fist. And I clarify the truth using examples. -
A Sharing on going to Geneva for the fifth time: Cultivating with Righteous Thoughts.
2004-04-14If a delegate of one country knows what Falun Gong is through our truth-clarification, and stands up to condemn the brutalities of the Jiang regime, isn’t this entire nation and this race saved? Particularly since some countries don’t have any Falun Gong practitioners. Some don’t even know about Falun Gong. Then, isn’t it a good opportunity to explain the facts to delegates of different nations during the“Human Rights Conference?” The UN Human Rights Conference is only held once a year. Many sentient beings are waiting to know Dafa, and waiting to be saved. Being Dafa practitioners, how can we look on unconcerned?
