Some Reflections on My Trip to Geneva

My recent trip to Geneva was the first time that I have joined overseas truth clarification activities since I was released from the forced labour camp. I gained a lot from this trip, and I would like to share with other practitioners by writing this article. The following are some of my reflections:

The Dafa practitioners who clarified the facts to delegates at the U.N. conferences were from several different countries. Since we cooperated with one another with an excellent unspoken agreement, a pure and peaceful field was thus formed. I felt as if I had become a drop of water merging into the sea, and we all had dissolved into one body. I simply did whatever the Fa needs me to do in this Fa-rectification period, as opposed to doing what I like to do. I was completely in a selfless state, as Master Li mentioned in Lecture Eight of Zhuan Falun, “leaving only one’s own mind, a little thought that one is practising here.” I knew I was doing Fa-rectification work, and nothing else was left in that completely selfless state.

The battle between the righteous and the evil was extraordinarily fierce. Dafa practitioners’ compassion and goodness were in sharp contrast to the evil. Everybody was clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings with righteous thoughts and righteous actions, rationality, harmony and dignity. They did not allow any gap for the evil to take advantage of, which fully demonstrated Dafa disciples’ state in the Fa-rectification period. The evil has employed all kinds of despicable means to create obstruction and interference. They even tried to interfere with the speeches that we were giving at the conference, just as Master Li mentioned in Touring North America to Teach the Fa:

“Before the force of Fa-rectification arrives at the surface level of human beings, or in other words, as Fa-rectification keeps progressing towards this surface, during this small gap of time before the surface goes through Fa-rectification, the evil old forces are displaying everything of theirs, and using the most evil and lowest-level, horribly messed up, odd-shaped beings to persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples. Dafa disciples, by contrast, are validating the Fa and saving sentient beings during this time before Fa-rectification arrives.”

Everything displayed here is very obvious.

A change in the cosmic climate was quite obvious, so people have felt like listening to our truth-clarification. A delegate from an African country suggested that we organised a forum to invite all the delegates from African countries to listen to our truth-clarification. Some delegates even invited us to clarify the truth in their respective countries.

Through clarifying the facts and exchanging experiences with other fellow practitioners over the past several days, I have gained tremendous inspiration. In the meantime, I also found disparities between other practitioners and myself, which made me aware of how to catch up with the ongoing progress of the Fa-rectification.

Next, I would like to talk about something that happened to me.

With our holistic efforts, we got an opportunity to speak at the United Nations’ General Assembly. After a discussion, a decision was made that I would give a speech in English for three minutes. I am not good at English at all, and usually I can only say a few simple words. I read the script repeatedly, but it took me five minutes to finish the three-minute speech. Afterwards, Zhao Ming taught me word by word, and guided me to read it sentence by sentence. But I still could not read it smoothly because I was kind of nervous. Since Zhao Ming was quite calm, I calmed down gradually as a result. Suddenly, a thought emerged in my mind that I could certainly read it very well because Master would surely help me. When it was my turn to speak, I stepped forward to sit in front of a microphone, and I sensed that the surroundings calmed down right away. As soon as I started to read the script, words were uttered from my mouth automatically one after another, and the pace was getting smoother as I went on with my speech. After finishing the speech, I took a look at my watch. I found that it only took me two and a half minutes.

The air ticket I booked for my trip to Geneva was the most inexpensive round trip ticket, which is usually non-negotiable and not subject to postponement. But to meet my needs, I successfully postponed my return trip twice without paying any charges. In addition, I also had the privilege of choosing the seat myself. On my return flight, I found that I was sat in the front row, which was very spacious and comfortable.

On my trip back to Japan from Geneva, our plane stopped over at Copenhagen. Due to engine problems the plane descended shortly after taking off from Copenhagen International Airport. All the passengers felt very fortunate because the consequences would have been disastrous if problems had occurred midway. I knew that it was our Teacher who safeguarded me as well as the two hundred plus passengers on board.

I once again deeply felt Master Li’s compassion and salvation. When I get things done well, Master Li encourages me; when I encounter difficulties, He helps me; when I get lost, He enlightens me; when I come across dangerous situations, He safeguards me. In the meantime, I perceived that it is very important to cultivate our Xinxing without being moved by anyone or anything, because only a pure mind can produce righteous thoughts. Only when we have righteous thoughts and righteous actions, can we do Fa-rectification work well.
