I wondered why you wanted to sue Jiang even though he has not persecuted Falun Gong in this country. Now, I have witnessed it myself!. You ought to sue him. Your lawsuit against him is perfectly right! -

Cultivate from the Fa and Oppose the Persecution More Clearheadedly
2004-05-13Thus they take for granted the police's torture as karmic retribution. I think this understanding is not correct. First, we should clearly realize that the day we stepped into Dafa cultivation, Master rearranged the path of our lives. Although we don't know how Master arranged it for us, one point is clear: Master would not have arranged for us to be imprisoned and tortured by the police. Does having a lot of karma mean that we have to be tortured? The purpose of cultivation is not bearing hardships; the upgrading of character is the most crucial. -
Do Not Use a Critical Eye When Studying or Memorizing the Fa
2004-05-13When it comes to memorizing the Fa, those practitioners prefer memorizing some lectures to others. They spend a lot of time and are very fluent with some chapters but not all chapters. They even pick a few paragraphs within one article and only memorize those few paragraphs while ignoring the rest since they think those paragraphs are "well said," "very important," or "directly related to themselves." Personally, I don't think this is the correct way to study the Fa. I believe it diminishes the quality and effectiveness of the Fa-study. -

2004-05-12 I am a legal worker and I have a good friend who is a Falun Gong practitioner. He is a very nice, kind-hearted man. He has an interest in law, so we often talk about legal topics and issues. After Jiang Zemin started the persecution of Falun Gong, we discussed our understandings of the issue. We contemplated the issue from a legal point of view again and again. We also consulted a good number of books. I was amazed to discover that there are severe fundamental flaws in the way the Chinese government handles the Falun Gong issue. -
Officials of Daqing City in the Datong Area Attempt to Fabricate a "Falun Gong Suicide"
2004-05-12The officials immediately wanted to cut open the dead man's stomach. They asked Kong's family to say that Kong Zhaoyuan went insane because of practising Falun Gong. They even guaranteed to pay his funeral expenses if they would say this. Kong Zhaoyuan's family refused, saying that the old gentleman could not go to the funeral with a "self-inflicted" wound to his stomach, and there were no Falun Gong practitioners in the village. They know nothing about Falun Gong. -

One needs to do a totally independent study and conduct an objective analysis while considering all aspects of the matter. So I tried to learn more through the Internet and newspapers about the proceedings of April 25 as well as the incident in Tianjin City where police arrested Falun Gong practitioners. -
My Experience of Being Intimidated Into Serving as a Special Agent for the "610 Office"
2004-05-09The "610 Office" personnel also asked me in a leading way if that fellow practitioner pushed me to go to Beijing to appeal, trying to get me to agree to their agenda. I said no and told them that it was me, alone, who decided to go. However, they changed their manner of questioning and asked me if my appeal was done under his influence. I clearly knew that the purpose of such an interrogation was to shift all responsibility on to that fellow practitioner. Even so, I shamefully went along with it. -

I said, “I am only doing what I should do!” As soon as I answered her call, I kept thinking how to find a way to mention Minghui School to her so that I could clarify the truth about Falun Gong to her through introducing the school principles of Minghui School. But it had never once crossed my mind that she was evaluating my speech and manners the whole time.
