United Kingdom: Unruly and Shocking Behaviour of the Edinburgh Chinese Consul

The practitioner described the Chinese person’s behaviour to us afterward. After some discussion, we realised that this was the Consul of the Embassy in Edinburgh. As he often comes and goes by car, we seldom see him. We were all shocked by his behavior, how could this kind of person be sent abroad as a diplomat? -
Confirmed Deaths of Falun Dafa Practitioners Reach 1,000: In the Face of So Much Killing, What Should Be Done?
2004-07-12These killings are different from shooting someone with a gun (although guns have been used against practitioners). Most of the deaths are as a result of torture behind closed doors. Although torture may be different than outright killing, its cruel murderous nature is the same. The hidden torture deaths are more brutal since they make the victims suffer longer and endure more pain. If the international community can give more support, it will bring Jiang to justice earlier and stop this persecution sooner. Let us work together even more. Helping kind people is also helping ourselves. -
Shooting in South Africa Exposes the Jiang Group's Fear and Desperation
2004-07-12I was deeply shocked after hearing the news on June the 28th of Australian practitioner David Liang being shot in South Africa, and that the heel bones in his right foot were shattered. I kept seeing David's face in my mind. Knowing David, I can tell you that he is a kind-hearted and upright person. Seeing the photos of his blood-stained feet, taken while in the hospital, I thought of his two young children and aged parents, especially his mother who is confined to bed and needs constant care. All his family depend on his income as a taxi driver. -

2004-07-12In the very eventful year of 2002 there was a state visit from China, through which the German government, our authorities and our police permitted to be put so much under pressure that several illegal measures against practitioners were taken by the police. This happened in Berlin, Potsdam, Dresden and Goslar, without ourselves at that time being clear right away on the issue which proceeded to follow. Studying the Teachings of Falun Gong with a Calm Mind
2004-07-12I realised that I had completely missed a sentence or I had memorised a sentence incorrectly. I realised it was because I didn't have a calm mind and couldn't concentrate enough. I then concentrated with all my effort on the book. I tried to memorise word-by-word, sentence-by-sentence. Those words would then appear in front of me clearly. When I recited sentence after sentence with a quiet mind, it seemed I had purged many attachments and passed a barrier. -

Comparing the South Africa Shooting with the Jiang Group's Devious and Indirect Methods of Killing Practitioners in China
2004-07-11An evaluation of the shooting incident on the night of June 28 in South Africa shows that there were five Falun Gong practitioners in the vehicle, yet only the driver, David Liang, was wounded in both legs and the car was damaged. There are some people who apparently do not take exception to an incident like this. In fact, if the details were to be carefully considered, one would see after calm and sober deliberation, the sinister and shocking nature of this crime. -
2004 European Conference: Telling the Facts During the ‘China week’ Activity Held at Bruug Middle School in Switzerland
2004-07-11I met my daughter’s tutors to see how she was doing at school, and wanted to use this opportunity to clarify the truth to her two tutors. They signed the petition immediately after they had learnt about the truth. For their interest, I also brought forward the idea of giving an introduction to Chinese culture at the school, including Falun Gong and human right status in China. Both tutors agreed that it was a great idea, afterwards they contacted me to make an arrangement. -

2004-07-11One day I sent a heartfelt prayer into the universe, to be given directions as to what to practice and how to improve myself. Three days later I found a Falun Gong leaflet in my mailbox. I was somewhat surprised that my prayer was answered so quickly. I read the leaflet from back to front. 2004-07-10When I clarified the truth to my relatives, friends, and colleagues, I just casually talked about it, and then I gave them a book and a few VCD's. I even felt complacent and pleased with myself. I calculated that I had clarified the truth to this many people yesterday and that many today. I didn't know whether they understood or not and whether they had read the book or not, or even watched the VCD's. I didn't know whether they had any misunderstandings that couldn't be resolved. When I asked them after a long time, I found out that they neither read the book nor watched the VCD's. I didn't achieve the effect of saving the sentient beings at all. -
An Understanding I Gained While Clarifying the Truth
2004-07-10Before writing this letter, the first obstacle was fear. I was afraid of running into trouble, revealing my identity to them, and being implicated. The second obstacle was laziness. Even if I had quite a bit of time, I still didn't want to start writing. 2004-07-07David Liang is an Australian citizen who has never been to South Africa before, so it is impossible that he has any personal enemy in South Africa. It is evident that the gunmen’s motivation was not robbery either; otherwise, they wouldn’t have fled from the scene without trying to take anything from these Falun Gong practitioners. Third, David Liang, the only man who was gunned down in this shooting spree, was also the only man who wore a jacket with a Falun Dafa insignia.
