32-year-old Dafa practitioner Ms. Yu Yingzhu has been forbidden to have family visits because she revealed her persecution experiences at the camp during a family visit. On May 3rd a family member attempted to visit Ms. Yu, but was refused after the family pleaded with the camp officials. During the negotiations, Yu's mother listed all the incidents of persecution that happened to her daughter, such as standing in a small cell for eight days and nights, resulting in body oedema; withholding her clothes for no reason so that Ms. Yu could only wear a thin shirt in the winter. However, the chief who was personally involved in the persecution denied any wrong-doing. He said, "Hey, no one died yet!" -
Mr Zheng Dejun Brutally Persecuted in the Shayang Forced Labour Camp in Hubei Province
2006-05-23Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zheng Dejun was imprisoned and persecuted in Shayang Labour Camp in Hubei Province. Since July 2005, he was inhumanely tortured by the wardens and inmates, and was beaten in a small room, deprived of sleep, etc. His older parents travelled a long distance to visit him, but the guards would not allow them to see him. The guards even threatened to detain his parents in the camp. In July 2005, Shayang Labour Camp added six months to his term because Zheng Dejun did not announce his name, did not report his number, and did not sing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) anthem. -
Torture Methods Used in the Shayang Forced Labour Camp in Hubei Province
2006-05-22The torture methods used in Shayang Forced Labour Camp include the guards stomping on practitioners who were pushed down to the ground. They used several high-voltage electric batons at the same time to shock the practitioners and gagged their mouths with filthy pieces of cloth in order to prevent them from crying out; they also tied practitioners' whole bodies tightly with ropes, pinched their pressure points, viciously beat and kicked them, and shocked them with several electric batons at the same time. -
The Seven Year Long Tragedy and Suffering of My Family
2006-05-20The persecution my husband suffered was just brutal. They began at the knees, whipping upward until they reached the neck and shoulders. Belt buckles were used to beat my husband's back. He was soaked in blood and sweat and his flesh was raw. The pain was unimaginable. Then they asked, "Do you still say you cultivate?" My husband answered "yes." Then, they continued to beat him brutally. My husband's entire back, buttocks, and thighs were one bloody mess. All flesh was exposed, and his entire body was covered with blood. The prisoner kicked my husband's left side very hard and his rib broke. The pain had passed the level he could tolerate. He had no other choice left and against his will, he said in a low voice, "Will not cultivate." -
Falun Gong Practitioners at the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp Enslaved and Tortured by Brigade Captain Zhao Shuang
2006-05-20I was detained in the Fifth Brigade of the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp on February 17th, 2004. While I was performing forced labour, an instructor waved a piece of paper in front of me, saying, "the "guarantee letter" you wrote isn't right." Taking a quick look at it, I replied, "If it's no good, why don't you tear it up?" The instructor used two electric batons to shock me until the batteries went dead. There were black spots and blisters all over my body, from my neck to my thighs. Then, accompanied by the sound of their laughter, Zhao Shuang pinched my testicles through a plastic bag, causing me unbearable pain. -
Eight Guards Electric Baton-Shock Practitioner for Several Hours in Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp
2006-05-18The guards in the second ward have used electric batons to shock practitioners. They tortured Mr. Li Wenming by shocking him with electric batons on March 13th, March 16th, April 10th, and April 11th, 2006. Each session lasted two hours, and there were as many as eight guards shocking him simultaneously. Mr. Li Wenming was dying after this cruel torture. -
Despicable Means Used by the Fourth Brigade in the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp to "Transform" Practitioners
2006-05-13Ms. Qi Hongjin was a Dafa practitioner who was highly educated. She went on a hunger strike in protest after she was sent to the camp. Staff members handcuffed Ms. Qi to a bed and told her they could "heal hunger strikes." They would not allow her to go to the toilet so she was forced to relieve herself in the bed. They scolded and humiliated her and wouldn't allow her to sleep. A guard later slapped Ms. Qi until her mouth bled and her face swelled. Ms. Qi was forced to squat for six hours and could not avoid relieving herself in her trousers and on the ground. -
Recent Crimes against Practitioners at Masanjia Concentration Camp and the Hulan County Prison in Heilongjiang Province
2006-05-13In February, one guard ordered an inmate to drag a Dafa practitioner out in the snow and stuff snow into her clothes, while the guard was watching. On March 23rd, 2006, on the way out to work, several inmates dragged Dafa practitioner Jiang Chunxia; her hands were handcuffed behind her back; her mouth was covered with layers of plastic tape. The No. 2 Battalion leader Wang Yanping just watched everything. A fellow practitioner witnessed the evil behaviour and pointed it out. Wang Yanping threatened her: "We are evil--so what? I will move you to our battalion tomorrow." In the No. 2 Battalion, the inmates beat Dafa practitioner Xin Shuhua frequently until her face was covered with blood. -
Mr. Jia Jingwen's Black Hair Turned Grey within Three Months of Persecution at Jinzhou Forced Labour Camp
2006-05-08"One day at end of July 2004, the police arrested me and sent me to Jinzhou Forced Labour Camp. Because I refused to follow their orders to get my hair cut and wear the prison uniform, they brutally beat me and put me into the "small cell for new arrivals." As soon as I arrived there, I saw a man with his hands cuffed behind his back, and wearing a helmet. He was very thin and had a grey beard, which almost covered his face. At first, I did not realise that he was my fellow practitioner Mr. Jia Jingwen. Although we had been close friends for over a year, I did not recognise him until I took a close look." -
Informing the World About Labour Camps, Detention Centres, Prisons, and Hospitals in Mainland China
2006-05-07In March of 2005 at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp, all inmates, including Falun Gong practitioners, were ordered to have their blood drawn and tested. They said that they were testing us for infectious diseases. Everyone had a full test tube, which was the width of a thumb, filled with our blood. Every test tube was numbered. During the procedure, the prison hospital director was very aggressive and at the same time afraid that anyone might refuse. Thinking back, I'm speculating - was this in reality to build a database for live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners? -
Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Deceives Reporters
2006-05-05"When I read the article "Comments on the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Response to the Sujiatun Concentration Camp" on Clearwisdom.net, I recalled a fact on how the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp deceived reporters. In March 2001, the camp authorities tensed up. Besides the routine forced labour, some detainees were designated to do sanitation work. All of the tabulations displayed in the corridor to assess Falun Gong practitioners were removed, and the entertainment facilities like volleyball, skipping rope and poker were showcased. An insider disclosed that some reporters would come after the "two conferences."" -
Mr. Lu Mengxin Dies From Torture Sustained in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-05-03Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Mengxin was 42-years-old and was a lecturer employed by the Northeast Forestry University. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa on October 10th, 1999, and was arrested. He was detained for 16 months and sentenced to three years in prison. Mr. Lu was beaten and had his food taken by other inmates. He was as thin as a skeleton due to starvation. Mr. Lu Mengxin was arrested again early on April 3rd, 2005 and detained. On February 27th, 2006, Lu Mengxin died from multi-organ failure as a result of torture in the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp -
Persecution-Related Deaths of 14 More Practitioners Verified in March 2006
2006-05-02The genocidal persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP has continued for close to seven years. The regime has brutally tortured Falun Gong practitioners to death and also imposed tight restrictions on information related to the persecution. The torture deaths reported publicly on Clearwisdom.net and verified through public channels are only the tip of the iceberg. Recent news of the atrocities in Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang City revealed that the CCP has not only illegally detained a huge number of Falun Gong practitioners, but also reaped huge profits through the appalling practice of harvesting organs from live practitioners and disposing their bodies immediately. -
Cruel Persecution in Xindian Women's Labour Camp in Shanxi Province
2006-05-02Falun Gong practitioners who are currently held in the Xindian Women's Labour Camp are enduring the persecution in great pain every day. The police often incited drug abusers to beat the practitioners, making their faces become swollen and leaving black-and-blue marks all over their bodies. Practitioner Jin Jing was forced several times to wear nothing but thin underclothes in freezing weather because she cried out, "Falun Dafa is good!" Officer Liu Zhongmei brazenly yelled to practitioners, "Our responsibility is to persecute you to death." -
Inhumane Torture of Practitioners in Zhongba Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou Province
2006-04-28Mr. Tian Zongfu wrote a declaration to continue practising Falun Gong. So guards instigated inmates to tie his hair to the window, leaving him unable to stand up or squat down, and pierced his middle and ring fingers with a steel needle resulting in pus discharges and distortion of his middle finger. The steel needles were used to pierce his back and legs, and punctured a major artery in his leg. Blood gushed out, soaking all three layers of Mr. Tian's trousers. Using a large metal hook, the inmates beat his head until it bled.
