Crimes Committed in the Xishanping Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing City

On February 15th, 2006, cell leader Fu Yaqiang (male, a drug addict) had the cell gate closed and threatened practitioner Mr. Bai Tianshi, "Are you going to write the "Three Statements" today?" Mr. Bai replied, "No." Fu shouted, "If you do not write them, you will suffer today!" Several other drug addict prisoners picked up Mr. Bai, and tied his ankles to the bed posts, draping him backwards with his buttocks resting on a stool. Fu shouted again, "Are you going to write them?" Mr. Bai replied, No!" Fu said, "Since you refuse to write, I will have you experience the 'native airplane!'" -
How Practitioners Are Tortured in the Nanhu Forced Labour Camp in Anhui Province
2006-11-07The Nanhu Forced Labour Camp is one of the primary places in Anhui province where Falun Dafa practitioners are persecuted. Many Falun Gong practitioners from Anhui province were sent to this camp for illegal forced labour. Some practitioners lost their lives here due to torture and forced labour. Mr. Yang Haisheng was sent to the "adjusting" team in 2004. Because he practised the Falun Dafa exercises at night, he was confined and inhumanly tortured. -
Exposing the Slave Labour of Falun Gong Practitioners in Shandong Province's 1st Forced Labour Camp
2006-11-06Practitioners in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd divisions of the labour camp must stick the "Shuanghe" label on the packages of "Beijing's Pressure Lowering No. 0." The big box contains 2,000 medicine boxes, which are placed in two layers. Everyone has to put labels on 6,000-8,000 medicine boxes; sometimes, even over 20,000 boxes. Approximate working hours are 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., 12 to 6 p.m., and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and even 9 or 10 p.m. Practitioners have to do 12 to13 hours of high-intensity labour everyday. Long hours of labour causes extreme pain in the back, shoulders, and hands, and particularly in the neck area. The neck becomes so numb it cannot move. -
Ms. Zhang Shulian from Shandong Province Taken to Jinan Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-11-03At noon on September 12th, 2006, after Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Shulian arrived home from shopping, police broke into her home and searched it thoroughly. They then tried to force Ms. Zhang to come with them, but she refused to cooperate and did not want to get into the vehicle. They hit her with their fists, kicked her, and physically carried her into the vehicle. They have by now secretly taken Ms. Zhang Shulian to the Jinan Women's Forced Labour Camp. -
Exposing the Crimes Against Dafa Practitioners Committed in Inner Mongolia by the Labour Camp Bureau
2006-11-02A letter written by a practitioner and secretly smuggled out of Wuyuan Forced Labour Camp: "Li Weidong gagged me with a towel and tied my hands behind my back. Then guards shocked me on the ears, face and neck with electric batons. The electric batons sparked and the electric shocks made my head shake continuously. Being tied up, my body was unable to move. I fell down. They turned my body over and shocked my forehead and ears. I bit the towel and endured the extreme pain. They shocked me with electric batons for thirty minutes, but I didn't give in. One guard took off my trousers. Li Weidong started shocking my belly. Later, he took off my underwear and shocked my anus with the electric baton." -
Practitioner Tian Huiying Persecuted to Death at the Sanshui Women's Forced Labour Camp in Guangdong Province
2006-11-02Tian Huiying had been subjected to inhumane abuse and torture such as beatings, insults, threats and deprivation of sleep for long periods of time. She was in a trance-like state, though her mind was clear. I saw red and black scars on her body and legs while she was bathing, and there was an imprint of a hand with five fingers on her back. This was specifically recorded by prisoner head Gao Qing. We asked how Tian Huiying was wounded. She told me that she was beaten by the people on the fourth floor. -
Mr. Miao Shujun Suffered Torture at Suihua Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2006-10-29Mr. Miao Shujun was arrested at home by police. His wife asked the police to release her husband as he had committed no crime. Policeman Zhou said, "He was reported for spreading Falun Gong." When she visited her husband Miao Shujun told her, "On September 22nd, I was subjected to beatings.I have headaches, feel dizzy and have severe pains in my chest. I throw up anything I eat. It's becoming worse and worse." -
A Practitioner in Her 80s Sent to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province for Refusing to Give up Her Belief
2006-10-29Mrs. Niu is in her 80s. Recently, she was arrested by the 610 Office and taken to the Taian Brainwashing Centre. Because she refused to stop cultivating Falun Dafa, she was sent to the notorious Wangcun Forced Labour Camp. An 80-year-old woman has been arrested and persecuted at a brainwashing centre and is now being sent to a forced labour camp. These inhumane and unlawful acts demonstrate the insanity of the Chinese Communist Party. -
Practitioners Tortured at Xinkaipu Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province
2006-10-27Mr. Liu Heqing, in his 30s, had previously left the forced labour camp. Unfortunately, he was again sentenced to forced labour in March 2005. He was beaten after he yelled, "Falun Dafa is good!" He fainted and was carried to a closed room. When he came to, he started yelling, "Falun Dafa is good!" He continued to yell when others were eating. Those in charge handcuffed him and punched his chest and stomach. All of his teeth fell out after the beating. Although he was beaten with sticks and electric batons, he still yelled, "Falun Dafa is good!" They used a long needle to puncture his tongue, pulled a threaded needle through it, and tied the thread to a weight. After that horrific torture, Mr. Liu could no longer talk nor look after himself. He became mentally unstable. -
Persecution of Practitioners in Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-10-22In September 2001, practitioners Ms. Zhang Yunxian, 55 years old, Ms. Ma Wenhua, 58, and Ms. He Guilan were detained in the "dark den," in Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labour Camp. They were handcuffed and tortured for over a month. The three practitioners protested the persecution by holding a hunger strike. As a result, they were placed in solitary confinement. They were tortured physically and mentally for over seven months. The guards often encouraged the criminal inmates to hang the practitioners from the window bars and then kick and beat them. -
Personal Account of Three Years of Brutal Persecution at the Notorious Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-10-22On March 2nd, 2003, I was arrested by the local police. I was sentenced to three years in the forced labour camp and was sent to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. I was not allowed to sleep for over ten days at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. I was forced to stand in the corridor or the toilet. Every day, five or six collaborators besieged me and forcibly tried to brainwash me. Later I was ordered to go inside the room to do slave labour. They besieged me while I was working. I was still not allowed to sleep. Every day the guards swore at me, pushed me, and beat me. -
Ten Types of Torture I Experienced During Imprisonment at Masanjia Labour Camp
2006-10-19In 28 months, the perpetrators used over ten different methods to torture me including "Back lock" where one arm crosses the front of the body, while the other crosses behind the back, and the hands are locked together behind the back. The neck is tied to the feet with rope, making it impossible to raise the head. One's body cannot sustain such a position, and after over forty minutes, I was sweating all over, and my heart could not bear it any longer. I was only unlocked after they realised that I would die if the torture continued. -
Guizhou Province Women's Forced Labour Camp Refuses to Let Guards Go Home in Order to Cover Up News of Atrocities
2006-10-17Practitioners were frequently taken to isolated places, where selected individuals took turns driving them into the wall or iron beds by pulling their hands and deliberately tripping them. The perpetrators repeated this again and again for pleasure, while saying that they were 'giving lectures.' The practitioners were forced to stay longer if they did not cooperate. The brutal persecution of these female practitioners is constantly changing and it seems there is no end to the cruelty. Even a glance between practitioners incurs a beating. They also commonly rub an unknown drug on the practitioners at random. -
Persecution Evidence from Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained at Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-10-17In August 2001, guard Liu Hong brutally tortured practitioners Wang Jie and Li Cuifang. They were compelled to submit to the "forced backbend" position. [Note: This is a very painful form of torture in which one arm is reaching down the back behind the head and the other hand meets it from the lower back. The hands are handcuffed together to cause unbearable pain] They were handcuffed with their hands up, in front of their chests, for a month. Sleep was forbidden. The handcuffs remained, even when they were eating or using the toilet. -
Sanshui Forced Labour Camp Refuses Relatives' Request for the Release of Falun Dafa Practitioners
2006-10-16Ms. Jiang Jiayin, Ms. Jiang Lanlan, and Mr. Wu Xiyuan, practitioners in their fifties, were arrested and detained in Sanshui Forced Labour Camp for four months. Ms. Jiang's mother went to Sanshui Labour Camp to request the release of their relatives. She wore a T-shirt to the camp with these words written in large letters: "Wronged" and "Give me back my daughters Jiang Jiayin and Jiang Lanlan." On the back it said: "There is no crime in having a faith, stop the persecution." The T-shirt was violently stripped off Ms. Jiang's mother by labour camp guards. They then threatened her, "If you do this in any other place, you will be sentenced to several years in prison."
