  • France: People in Nancy told Practitioners, “Keep going and persevere!”

    Throughout the activities, many passers-by stopped to view the poster display boards. When hearing that such a cruel persecution is still taking place in the 21st century, they were astonished and talked to practitioners one after another wanting to know more of the facts. Many passers-by came forward to encourage practitioners.
  • Germany: “Very good. Such things should be exposed to the public!”

    A female Falun Gong practitioner who personally suffered human rights abuses a the hands of the Chinese Communist Party for practising Falun Gong came to the square to distribute flyers. Many people noticed the girl from far away and approached her asking, "What good things are you distributing today?" Most people solemnly received the flyers when they heard that it was about human rights issues in China.
  • United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Gong at Birmingham Art Festival

    At 4 pm on Saturday the 10th of September, seven female Falun Gong practitioners in traditional Chinese costumes demonstrated the five sets of exercises on the main stage, followed by their self-created dance “Flying Law Wheels.” When Falun Gong music played, the whole square seemed to be immersed in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
  • Italian Television Viewers Admire Falun Gong Practitioners' Efforts

    On September 2nd, Italian Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend the QUADRIFOGLIO” TV Station’s programme “Good Night, TV” and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong. The forty-five minute programme showed the abuses of human rights against Falun Gong practitioners for the last six years and highlighted the staged self immolation case as an example of the terrifying lengths that the CCP will go to.
  • Germany: Practitioners Invited to Participate in Sachsen Day Festivities

    On the first Sunday of September every year, Sachsen Day is celebrated in different cities in a grand manner, in which the number of participants may be as many as several thousand people. Participants included more than a hundred associations, groups, as well as the major media from various places in Germany. The Falun Gong Association was also invited.
  • Belgium: Practitioners in Antwerp Expose the Brutality of the Persecution of Falun Gong with an Anti-Torture Exhibition

    Falun Gong Practitioners from Belgium and Holland held a live anti-torture exhibition in Antwerp to expose six long years of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) against Falun Gong practitioners. Anti-torture exhibitions consist of practitioners acting out some of the brutal methods of torture used against their fellow practitioners in China.
  • Denmark: Anti-torture Exhibition Held During a Meeting of International Prosecutors

    The Meeting of International Prosecutors was held in the capital of Denmark from August 29th to September 1st, 2005. The focus was on human rights and the position of witnesses and victims in legal proceedings. Prosecutors from more than 80 countries attended the meeting, including Jia Qunwang, chief prosecutor of China's highest procurator’s office.
  • France: Gathering Signatures in Paris to Stop the Persecution

    On September 3rd, French Falun Gong practitioners held an activity on Rue de la Convention, the busiest in the 15th section in Paris. The 15th section is located in the south-west of Paris and is the biggest street section in the city. This activity was to introduce Falun Dafa to people and expose the persecution taking place in China.
  • Sweden: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition" in Malmo City

    On August 19th, 2005, the opening of the "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition" was held in a gallery in Malmo City. People from all walks of life attended the opening ceremony. The exhibition was open for one week. Located in the downtown area, the gallery attracted plenty of attention.

    On July 16th 2005, German newspaper Roding published an article entitled "People there have no rights". In the article, Falun Gong practitioner Min Teng-Schwaeger talked about the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners and Utz-Reiner Roemer discussed the autocracy of the Chinese Communist party.
  • United Kingdom: Holding a Benefit Performance and Petitioning to Rescue Falun Gong Orphans in Oxford City

    On Saturday the 27th of August 2005, at Gloucester Green Square in the famous historical city of Oxford, Falun Gong practitioners held activities calling for help to rescue Falun Gong orphans, which included a benefit performance designed by practitioners themselves, distributing leaflets and collecting signatures.
  • Switzerland: The Government and Members of the National Assembly Pay Attention To the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in China

    In the convention of the Swiss National Assembly held this June, Mr Luc Recordon, a member of the National Assembly, interrogated the administration about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and the sentencing and arrest of Falun Gong practitioner Chu Minghua, whose daughter Wang Shaoyang is studying in Switzerland.   • Denmark: Chinese Ambassador Uses Lies to Spread Hate, Practitioners Continue to Advise Him to Do What is Right

    Recently Falun Gong practitioners filed a criminal suit against the CCP Procurator General Jia Chunwang during his visit to Denmark, for the crimes against human rights he committed to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. This matter became hot news with various media in Denmark. The lawsuit made people in Denmark pay attention to the tragedy caused by the persecution. They felt deeply shocked. A great number of people wrote letters to the media one after another to express their anger and condemnation.
  • Denmark: Press Conference about Legal Action is Attended by Major Danish Media

    The CCP Procurator General Jia Chunwang was sued by Falun Gong practitioners for Crimes of Torture while he was taking part in the International Procurator General Association’s annual meeting on 28th August in Copenhagen. The Danish Falun Gong association held a press conference. All mainstream Danish media attended this conference.
  • Italy: Falun Dafa is Becoming More Popular on the Island of Sardinia

    At the end of July and the beginning of August, some practitioners from Switzerland and Italy went to the island of Sardinia in Italy to promote Falun Gong. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in the park every morning. A newspaper reported the stories of Falun Gong practitioners and revealed the truth of the persecution by the CCP using a whole page spread.
