  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against Bo Xilai in the Royal Plaza

    Regarding Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai’s visit to Sweden, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in a park on September 14th to inform the media, government and Royal Family that Bo Xilai committed crimes of murder and torture as part of the persecution of Falun Gong when he was the mayor of Dalian and governor of Liaoning Province.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal on the Eve of Wen Jiabao's Visit to Germany

    A Falun Gong human rights working group in Germany sent an open letter to the German Government, media and citizens, appealing for attention to China’s human rights conditions on the eve of Wen Jiabao’s visit to Germany, from September 13th - 15th. The letter mentions Gao Zhisheng, a prominent Chinese lawyer and active human rights campaigner who has been illegally detained by the Chinese Communist Party since August 15th, 2006. He openly wrote letters to the CCP leaders disclosing the situation of innocent Falun Gong practitioners being cruelly persecuted.

    Michel Hunault is a member of the French Parliament and a member of the European Parliament. He is also a member of the Human Rights Committee of the European Parliament.   • Slovakia: Falun Gong in Levice and Kremnica

    On Friday September 8th, practitioners of Falun Gong visited Levice city in Slovakia. Although to begin with the weather was rather cloudy, they put up a table with a petition against the persecution, erected the banner stands showing the scenes from the persecution and started to practice the peaceful Falun Gong exercises. The next day, practitioners visited Kremnica.
  • Germany: 'Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' Picture Exhibition at a Tourist Attraction

    On September 9th, 2006, volunteers from the German Centre for Quitting the CCP held a Nine Commentaries (an editorial published by The Epoch Times newspaper) picture exhibition in Bayreuth. The pictures focus on the CCP persecuting the Chinese people during different political movements.
  • Bulgaria: Facts of the Persecution Shock Local People

    On September 9th, practitioners organised an event to let people know about the on-going persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, the brutality of the Chinese Communist regime, and the violence perpetrated against innocent Chinese people who believe in the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance.
  • Hungary: Informing People about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    Czech and Slovak practitioners of Falun Gong wanted to help Hungarian practitioners to inform more people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The Hungarian practitioners in particular were thankful for a chance to meet such a big group and be able to talk to them about cultivation.
  • United Kingdom: Protest Opposite Downing Street during Wen Jiabao’s Visit

    One of the main focuses of the practitioners' protest was the recent organ harvesting atrocities that have been exposed worldwide. Practitioners held banners that called for organ harvesting to stop and also handed out Falun Gong Today newspapers that gave the public detailed and undeniable evidence that these atrocities are ongoing.
  • European Parliament Resolution Urges Major Chinese Reforms

    The European Parliament adopted a resolution expressing alarm over a range of Chinese economic, foreign policy, environmental and human rights issues, including the forced removal of organs from imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners. The resolution was passed ahead of the summit in Helsinki between the European Union's executive body and China.
  • Open Letter to Wen Jiabao from German Falun Gong Practitioners

    "While you are attending the Hamburg China-Europe Summit today, we, German Falun Gong practitioners, would like to particularly urge you to make a shrewd decision immediately on Falun Gong issues: Seriously penalise the prime culprits persecuting Falun Gong, so as to put an end to this evilest persecution in human history as soon as possible."
  • Sweden: Practitioners File Criminal Complaint Against Chinese Minister of Commerce

    The Swedish Falun Dafa Association filed a criminal complaint against Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai during his visit to Sweden on September 15th. The complaint accused him of the murder, torture and abduction of Falun Gong practitioners in China, in accordance to Swedish national laws and the United Nation Convention against torture.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Crimes Committed by the Chinese Communist Party

    I hear often, “This is terrible, I will sign immediately. How can anyone do this terrible thing to other humans, just like during Hitler’s time! Something like this can’t be happening again.” Many people are deeply horrified and ask, “Why are they doing this to Falun Gong practitioners, especially since they only want to practice their spiritual belief?” The recognition of the irrationality of the inhuman persecution of peaceful people is imprinted on the face of these people.

    On the first weekend in September, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners participated in an annual cultural festival in the old city of Liesel. There were more than one hundred organisations taking part in this activity. Practitioners introduced Falun Gong to people and told them about the persecution launched by the CCP against Falun Gong.

    After their trip to Sweden, David Kilgour and David Matas, the two Canadian independent investigators and authors of the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China, came to the capital of Finland, Helsinki. In the morning of September 6th, 2006, they introduced their report to the media.
  • Finland: "Great Wall of Courage" Raises People's Awareness During Asia-Europe Meeting

    When the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) was held on September 9-11th, 2006, in Finland's capital, Helsinki, Falun Gong practitioners from 13 countries in Europe as well as North America gathered there and formed a 'Great Wall of Courage' exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
