Hungary: Informing People about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

From the 1st to the 3rd of September, a few Czech and Slovak practitioners of Falun Gong wanted to help Hungarian practitioners to inform more people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

On Friday September 1st, the practitioners divided into two groups. One visited the local media in Budapest and told them about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The second group visited a Chinese market, in order to talk to the local Chinese people, who are often deceived by the Chinese propaganda. They met with very positive reactions.

The Saturday was for group exercises and the subsequent energy field produced by the combined Hungarian and foreign practitioners practising together was rather strong. The Hungarian practitioners in particular were thankful for a chance to meet such a big group and be able to talk to them about cultivation. In the evening, the practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Budapest, in order to protest against the persecution. Many passers-by showed their support, among them also a policeman who was on duty near the Embassy.

On Sunday, the practitioners visited Margit Island in order to attract the attention of more people to the persecution happening in China. They started to do the exercises and many locals and also tourists stopped by. Some didn’t hesitate and signed their name to the petition against the persecution. One tourist, a teacher of geology from the USA, told us, that she already knows about the persecution and she doesn’t agree with it. She also pointed out the recklessness of the communist regime for its pollution of the environment.
