Mr. Zhang Jinsheng was arrested at his home at around 7:00 a.m. on July 21st, 2010, and taken to the Heshui City Brainwashing Centre. Those who participated in his arrest include Zhengkou Town Government official Yu Guangjun, Xichengzhen village chair Wu Changyin, village officials Liu Yingxin, Hei (given name unknown), and some 610 Office agents (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) of both Heshui City and Gucheng County. Both of his daughters were out of town working and didn't know he had been arrested and locked up at the brainwashing centre.

Mr. Zhang's wife Fang Xinzhi, who was also a practitioner, died on November 21st, 2007, while Mr. Zhang was detained at a forced labour camp. She had served three years in a forced labour camp, but was arrested again on May 12th, 2006. Officers from the Zhengkou Town Police Station twisted her wrist so severely that the bones fractured. Afterward, she was no longer able hold anything with that hand, could not work at her vegetable selling business, and thus lost her source of income. Before the persecution began, Mr. Zhang had a happy family of four who lived a contented life. These pure-hearted, kind people started cultivation of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance simply to get rid of illnesses and to keep fit. A little more than a year ago, Mr. Zhang was released from a forced labour term. He has now been arrested and detained again. We call on all people with a sense of justice to extend your helping hands, and help rescue Mr. Zhang from the brainwashing centre as soon as possible!
