  • United Kingdom: Rescuing the Orphans on London's Trafalgar Square

    The usual influx of tourists and Londoners to Trafalgar Square was greeted with something special on bank holiday Monday. Falun Gong practitioners were showcasing traditional Chinese dancing, music and culture as they appealed for children suffering in China. The focus of the event in Trafalgar Square was part of a global effort to raise awareness of the plight of these children, who have not only lost their parents and other loved ones, but often go without many basic needs.
  • Switzerland: People Have a Knowing Side

    While collecting signatures to rescue fellow practitioners persecuted in China, we usually have some interesting encounters. This article contains a few examples. Experiencing the things described above made practitioners who have held signature collection activities further understand the lesson Master Li has taught us that society's people have a knowing side.
  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Illuminate the Culture Festival of Malmo City with their Brilliant Display

    Malmo began this year's culture festival on August 20th, 2005. This is the first time that Falun Gong practitioners have joined the parade team as waist-drummers, fan dancers, lotus flower dancers and so on. Passersby happily accepted leaflets.
  • Finland: Children Show their Compassionate Side

    On August 12th, 2005, a group of European practitioners gathered in a park in central Helsinki to introduce Falun Gong to tourists from various countries, and expose the persecution taking place in China with a torture-exhibition. In the crowd, our reporter took some pictures of children looking attentively at the information posters.
  • Holland: Exposing the Truth about the Persecution of Falun Gong to People in Deventer City

    When a crowd came over to watch a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises, our practitioner said, “In China, people are persecuted because they practise Falun Gong. Tens of thousands of people are sent to prison and more than two thousand people have been persecuted to death. We came here today to let the public know the truth. We hope to have your support”
  • Germany: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Frankfurt

    On August 13th, 2005, tourists from all over the world were stunned by the anti-torture exhibition on Frankfurt’s Roman Square exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Since the CCP’s crackdown of Falun Gong began, 2799 Falun Gong practitioners have been verified as having been persecuted to death.
  • France: Introducing Falun Gong in Paris and Exposing the Persecution

    On August 13th, 2005, Parisian Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to promote Falun Gong at Place d’Italie on the southeast bank of the river Seine. Colourful banners drew many people's attention, as did photos detailing evidence of the persecution. People read leaflets distributed by practitioners while others gave a thumbs up to encourage us.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Information Day in Passau

    On the 13th of August 2005, Falun Gong practitioners held an information day to telling the Passau citizens about the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal campaign of persecution against Falun Gong. A huge number of tourists including many from different countries walked through the streets and by the Falun Gong information stall.
  • Slovakia: People in Zlate Moravce Learn about Falun Gong

    People showed their sympathy with the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China. One man repeatedly talked about the persecution: “How comes this is not mentioned in TV and in the media? It’s horrible!” Another man, as he signed the petition, noted, “I did a good deed today. I hope my signature will help stop this persecution.”
  • United Kingdom: Singing to Raise People’s Concern about the Orphans of the Torture Victims in China.

    An eye-catching banner hanging behind the performers told the audience the purpose of the concert: “Rescue the Orphans of Torture Victims in China.” Though most of the performers were amateur, the audience was deeply touched by their singing, dancing and their sincerity. Among them were several young girls whose singing and dancing particularly drew attention.
  • Finland: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution During the World Track and Field Championship Tournaments

    On August 7th, Finnish practitioners performed the exercises and introduced Falun Gong in the park next to where the athletics World Championship Tournaments were held. A lot of tourists from different countries were visiting during the Tournaments, and some of those passing by our exercise site were fascinated and asked practitioners about Falun Gong.
  • United Kingdom: Song - "Mother and Son Welcome the Spring Primroses”

    In order to draw attention to the orphaned children of Falun Gong practitioners tortured to death by the evil Chinese Communist regime, UK Falun Gong practitioners held an open-air concert called “Rescue the orphans of Falun Gong practitioners” on August 7th, 2005, in Edinburgh. Most of the programmes in this concert were created by UK practitioners.
  • Switzerland: Introducing Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in the city of Thun

    On August 7th, 2005, Swiss Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to promote Falun Gong in the famous tourist city of Thun. They demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and people stopped to watch. However, when people saw the display boards showing the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners they were shocked.
  • United Kingdom: Practitioners Demonstrate the Falun Gong Exercises and Raise Awareness of the Persecution at the Start of the Edinburgh Art Festival

    On August 6th, at the start of the Edinburgh Festival, Falun Gong practitioners introduced the practice and informed the public of the persecution in China. They demonstrated to people the five sets of the Falun Gong exercises. Their peaceful and serene performance was in stark contrast to their display of the photos of brutal persecution.
  • United Kingdom: The Song "Missing My Child" Moves People to Tears

    In order to draw attention to the plight of orphans of Falun Gong practitioners tortured to death by the Communist regime, UK practitioners held a non-profit open-air concert in Edinburgh on August 7th, 2005, the first day of the Edinburgh International Arts Festival. The concert was entitled “Rescue Orphans of Murder and Torture Victims in China."
