  • Bulgaria: People Enjoy Learning about the Falun Gong Principles and Exercises

    During “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition” in Sofia, Bulgarian practitioners organised a presentation of Falun Gong and a demonstration of the five sets of exercises in the club “Photo reporter” in the Ministerial Council. Several hundred invitations were sent out and detailed information was sent to the media.
  • Germany: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong with a Photo Exhibition at the Hamburg Cultural Festival

    Falun Gong practitioners held a photo exhibition with the title "The Journey of Falun Dafa" at their local university after participating in the Hamburg Cultural Festival's grand parade. The exhibition of photographs and text depicted the benefits of practising Falun Dafa and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's brutal persecution.
  • Sweden: Demonstrating Falun Gong Exercises during the Gothenburg Culture Festival

    On August 14th 2007, the week-long Cultural Festival began in Sweden’s second largest city, Gothenburg. Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises and taught them for free in the Botanical Gardens, where most of the celebration activities were held. The exercise teachings attracted a lot of adults and children alike.
  • Finland: Falun Dafa Introduced at the "Night of Art" in Helsinki

    On the evening of August 24th 2007, invited by the organizers of the "Night of Art" in Helsinki, Falun Gong practitioners participated in an activity held in the Kannelmakeen Library. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, performed a dance called "Lotus Flower" and distributed Falun Gong materials and beautiful paper lotus flowers to the audience.
  • Bulgaria: Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition Opens in Sofia

    All who saw the exhibition shared the same feelings: they were strongly impressed by the beautiful art and condemned the persecution. Many people signed the petition calling for end to the persecution in China and thanked the practitioners for having the courage to organise such a remarkable exhibition. They said they would recommend it to their friends.
  • United Kingdom: European Divine Land Marching Band Performs in London’s Chinatown

    As soon as the band turned started playing, they immediately attracted attention in all directions from a large number of people. They were cheerfully watching and enjoying the performance including some Chinese revealing gladness in their eyes. People accepted leaflets about Falun Gong and postcards introducing the band.
  • United Kingdom: Divine Land Marching Band at 2007 Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade

    On 5th August 2007 the annual Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade was staged once again in the UK. The Falun Gong group, which was formed by UK Falun Gong practitioners and the European Divine Land Marching Band, gained warm applause from the crowds all the way. This is the sixth time UK Falun Gong practitioners have taken part in this parade.
  • United Kingdom: Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition Held in Cambridge

    The “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition” held its opening ceremony in Cambridge on 14th August. The Mayor of Cambridge, Miss Jenny Bailey, gave an opening speech, commending the virtues of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance and wishing the exhibition complete success. Many members of the public, including Cambridge MP David Howarth, came to show support and take part in the opening ceremony.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Attracts Attention at Hamburg's Altonale Cultural Festival

    This is the sixth year that Falun Gong practitioners around Hamburg have joined this activity. People could learn the Falun Gong exercises from practitioners and learn to fold paper lotus flowers. This proved to be extreme popular and the stand was always crowded. Every time the exercises were demonstrated, people showed great interest.
  • Russia: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" Art Exhibition Held in Petrozavodsk

    The art works were created by outstanding artists from different backgrounds. These artists obtained great improvements in body and spirit after practising Falun Dafa. Using traditional art techniques to present brightness, purity and compassion, they gave form to their understanding of life and their experiences of practising Dafa. Through their art works, they presented the yearning for goodness and harmony.
  • Poland: Promoting Falun Gong and Traditional Chinese Culture at the Tall Ships Races in Szczecin

    Falun Dafa practitioners from Poland and Germany were welcomed by event organizers to attend the Tall Ships Races 2007 in Szczecin, Poland. The organizers expect around 1.5 million visitors. Practitioners saw this as an excellent opportunity to let lots more people know about Falun Gong and the persecution against practitioners in China.
  • Austria: The International 'Zhen, Shan, Ren Art Exhibition' held in Graz

    On the evening of July 5th, 2007 an international art exhibition entitled “Zhen, Shan, Ren” officially opened in Graz, the capital of Steiermark province. The “Ars Cara” arts and culture club put on the exhibition - their motto is “Arts for Human Rights”. Ars Cara had great success showing the same exhibition last year throughout Austria. It was supported and recognised by many people.
  • Sweden: More about the Art Exhibition Held in Gotenburg

    "I feel the power of truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance in the exhibition!" Swedish Congresswoman Eva Selin Lindgren talked about her feeling at the opening ceremony of the international "truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance" art exhibition held in Gothenburg. The artists in the exhibition are all Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Czech Republic: Truth Compassion Forbearance Art Exhibition in Prague.

    On May 1st, Labour Day, a rally called “May 1st without Communism” took place in the Czech capital Prague. The intention of the event was to expose the real nature of the world's communist regimes. The Confederation of Political Prisoners and a “T-shirt against Communism” initiative was a feature of the rally.
  • United Kingdom: "Force cannot chain conscience and belief in freedom"

    From April 19th to 25th 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Cambridge held an art exhibition comprising of work created by artists who are also Falun Gong practitioners. The exhibition is entitled the International ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance’ Exhibition and was held in St Laurence’s Catholic Church. This event was fully supported by the church, politicians and artists. This is the fourth time this internationally renowned exhibition has been held in Cambridge.
