Liver Cancer Survivor Ms. Chang Fengqin Had Relapse and Died in 2002 after Being Forced to Give Up Her Practice of Falun Dafa

In 1997 45 year old Ms. Chang Fengqin was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer by several hospitals. She was given four months to live. That same year she fortunately started practising Falun Gong. After a short period of practice, a miracle happened: she recovered fully. However, after the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Chang Fengqin was afraid of reading Falun Dafa books and practising Falun Gong. Her cancer recurred and she died in the summer of 2002. -
Two Older Practitioners from Hebei Province Died Due to Torture and Harassment
2005-02-02Ms. Zhang Yuqing, around 60 years old, was a resident of Hebei province. She was tortured in the brainwashing centre because she continued to do the Falun Gong exercises. She was deeply troubled. On January 15, 2005, soon after Ms. Zhang Yuqing returned home, she passed away. Before she died, she said: "I still have duties to fulfill. I regret that they are left undone." Ms. Zhao Wenjie was about 70 years old. Police and government officers frequently harassed her at home. She was greatly anguished and thus deteriorated mentally and physically. Her old diseases came back and she died in early 2003. -
Retired Teacher Mr Xiong Guoshou from Chongqing City Died Due to Police Pressure in 2003
2005-02-02Mr. Xiong Guoshou, in his 60's, was a retired teacher. As the persecution escalated, the pressure from the government grew heavier on the police, society, and his family. Mr. Xiong could not live in his home any longer. He made a tent from plastic film near the bridge close to his house. Still, the police would not leave him alone and they ransacked his tent. Under such pressure, he collapsed, and his healthy body quickly deteriorated. His relatives said he died in the latter half of 2003. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Liyun Died in 2001 as a Result of Torture
2005-02-02Ms. Wang Liyun was 40 years old, and an employee of the Zhongxin Bank in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. She was detained in a detention centre, and was tortured until her life was in danger and fined forty-thousand yuan in cash. Police notified her family after she passed out several times, and released her after extorting another five-thousand yuan. She died on August 6, 2001, due to severe injuries during her detention. -
More Details Regarding Ms. Su Aigui, a Falun Gong Practitioner from Hubei Province Who Was Recently Persecuted to Death
2005-02-01Ms. Su Aigui was a Falun Gong practitioner from Tianmen City. Through the practice her several acute illnesses were healed. Yet the authorities hounded and tortured her in order to force her to renounce Falun Dafa. Suffering brutal force-feeding with vinegar and hot pepper water in detention, her body was ravaged. Even though she was released, Su Aigui died on January 7, 2005. -
68 Year Old Ms. Han Shumin of Heilongjiang Province Died from Police Harassment in 2004
2005-02-01Ms. Han Shumin, 68 years old, lived in Heilongjiang Province. Police and other lawless people often went to her home to harass and intimidate her, and she felt extremely pressured. On March 18 of 2003, she was in her daughter's home when police jumped into their yard from a neighbour's home. They shouted and tried to break into the house. The old lady was scared and fell to the floor. She lay there for more than an hour and could not stand up. After this incident, her health became worse and worse. She died on April 22, 2004. -
Associate Professor from Chongqing Social Work Vocational College Persecuted to Death
2005-02-01Falun Dafa practitioner Mr Yang Yanhai, 62, was an associate professor at the Chongqing Social Work Vocational College. The authorities have constantly harassed Yang's family, and the emotional anguish they had to endure is hard for most to imagine. Yang Yanhai was persecuted to death on January 4, 2004. His last words on that day were, "Teacher is good, Dafa is good, and Truth, Compassion and Forbearance are good." -
63 Year Old Ms. Wang Fengru from Liaoning Province Died in 2003 Due to Constant Harassment

63 year old Ms. Wang Fengru from Liaoning Province suffered physically and mentally due to severe persecution. On July 23, 2003, the County's Disciplinary Committee and village officials went to her house to persecute her. Two days later, Ms. Wang Fengru died due to the relentless harassment. -
Two Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioners from Hunan Province Have Recently Died from the Persecution
2005-01-31Ms. Lu Yongzhen, 63, and Mr. Zhang Lingwu, 60, were both Falun Dafa practitioners from Hunan Province. Ms. Lu Yongzhen went to Beijing twice to peacefully appeal for Falun Gong and was twice sentenced to forced labour and cruelly beaten numerous times. She died from the persecution on October 8, 2004. In February 2004, police ransacked Mr. Zhang Lingwu's home and took him into custody. He was brutally beaten the same night and was subsequently sentenced to one and a half years of forced labour. He passed away on January 4, 2005. -
Two Practitioners from Inner Mongolia, Were Persecuted to Death in 2003
2005-01-31Ms. Liu Guohua from a village in Inner Mongolia, remained steadfast and did not stop practising Falun Dafa despite severe persecution. She died in 2003 after being persecuted for two years, at the approximate age of 30. 45 year old practitioner Ms. Cui Guilan, was also from Inner Mongolia. Local police and "610 Office" agents repeatedly harassed her and twice sent her to a brainwashing centre. After all these incidents, Ms. Cui Guilan developed breast cancer and left this world in 2003. -
Stories of Practitioners from Tianjin Province, Hebei Province, Liaoning Province, and Shandong Province Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-01-31Ms. Sun Yazhi was an 86-year-old resident of Liaoning Province. She was a retired teacher from a primary school. In 2002, police officers and other officials went to her home many times to arrest Ms. Sun's daughter who also practised Falun Dafa. Sun Yazhi was distressed by the harassment and as a result, suffered a relapse of her old diseases. She died on November 6, 2002. -
Falun Gong Practitioners Elderly Ms Li Sufen and Middle-Aged Ms Kang Yuxia from Liaoning Province Die as a Result of Persecution
2005-01-30Two lady practitioners enjoyed great benefit to their physical health through the practice of Falun Dafa. When the persecution was instigated by Jiang Zemin in July 1999, both ladies felt compelled to exercise their constitutional rights to appeal against this gross injustice and went to Beijing. Both of them suffered immeasurable mental and physical harm. One suffered a stroke, steadily deteriorated and passed away on October 1, 2004, the other was diagnosed with stomach cancer and passed away on April 16, 2000. -
Practitioner Ms. Yan Xiangzhi of Hebei Province, Died as a Result of Police Harassment and Threats
2005-01-30Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yan Xiangzhi lived in a village in Hebei Province. After she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on January 1, 2000, she had to go into exile to avoid being persecuted. On January 13, 2002, police again arrested Yan Xiangzhi and her husband. She was soon released, but her husband was sentenced to six years in prison. He was severely tortured and eventually released. However, the authorities often went to his home to harass and threaten him and Ms. Yan. Under the huge pressure of such threats and her husband's failing health, Yan Xiangzhi passed away on August 15, 2004. -
73 Year Old Practitioner Ms. Luo Bu-e from Shanxi Province Persecuted to Death in 2003
2005-01-30Ms. Luo Bu-e was 73 years old. After July 20, 1999, the village's police constantly harassed and threatened her at her home, causing severe damage to her mental state. Her children were detained and sentenced to a labour camp and prison. During that difficult period, Ms. Luo was very worried for her children. She lost weight and strength, and suffered from shortness of breath. Doctors found that she had late stage lung cancer, with fluids in her lungs. She died on December 17, 2003. -
Filled With Anguish for Her Persecuted Daughter, 82 Year Old Ms. Li Xiuying from Hebei Province, Died in 2001
2005-01-30Ms. Li Xiuying was 82 years old and lived in Hebei Province. When the persecution against Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, she went with her daughter to Beijing to appeal. They were both arrested and sent back home to a police station to be tortured. After releasing Ms. Li and letting her go home, her daughter was repeatedly arrested, detained, and harassed because she continued to appeal. Ms. Ms. Li Xiuying was so worried for her daughter that she became sick and died on October 9, 2001.
