The Guiping City 610 Office in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Persecutes and Tortures Practitioners

At 11:00 p.m. on November 6th, 2006, police officers from the Guiping 610 Office arrested practitioner Mr. Liang Zhiwei. Mr. Liang was on his way home from work when he was struck down by the officers. They swarmed around him, kicked him, beat him with iron rods, and shocked him with electric batons. Mr. Liang's head was covered with bumps and bruises. The officers then ransacked his residence, taking away everything of value. Mr. Liang is being held at the Guiping Detention Centre. -
Ms. Liang Yanying Is Sent to Forced Labour for Two Years; Her Daughter Might Have to Leave College
2006-12-01Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liang Yanying, in her 40s, is a teacher. She truthfully answered her students' questions about Falun Gong in class. Her brother's wife, who is also the school's Chinese Communist Party (CCP)CCP Secretary, led Yitong County State Security agents to ransack her home and threatened her until she fainted. On September 18th, 2006, a CCP agent went to the school again, arrested Ms. Liang, sentenced her to two years of forced labour, and took her to the Changchun City Forced Labour Camp. Now that Ms. Liang has been secretly arrested and sent to a forced labour camp, her daughter is faced with not having enough money to go to college. -
Ms. Wang Bo and her Family Defend Themselves by Explaining the Facts about Falun Dafa
2006-11-30On November 10th, 2006, the Changan District Court falsely charged Ms. Wang Bo, her father Mr. Wang Xinzhong, and her mother Ms. Liu Shuqin with "Sabotaging Law Enforcement" and conducted a show trial. After enduring physical and mental torture from the police, Ms. Wang and her parents were very frail, especially her father. During the trial, Ms. Liu exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by sharing her family's bitter experiences. She also tried to defend her family members by explaining that Falun Gong practitioners' exposing the persecution activities fall under the category of freedom of belief and speech allowed in the Chinese constitution. -
Ms. Fu Rufen from Chongqing City Is Again Arrested, Beaten, and Sentenced to Forced Labour
2006-11-3057-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Fu Rufen persisted in practising Falun Gong and being a good person. She was arrested twice after July 20th, 1999, and was imprisoned for 725 days, including once being imprisoned in a labour camp. On September 22nd, 2006, after being arrested again, she was severely beaten and injured by police officer Luo Yonghong, who told her "I'll beat you to death." She is currently being held in Maojiashan Women's Forced Labour Camp. -
Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in the Guangzhou City Brainwashing Centre
2006-11-29Policemen Lai Jianfeng and Yang Yongcheng directed guards to subject practitioners to various forms of abuse. At first, practitioners were only allowed to sleep for two or three hours a day. They were tied up with their feet crossed, and a rope looped around the neck tied to the rope binding their legs together. Soon the practitioners would feel terrible pain in their lower back, neck, legs, and feet. Screams of pain were frequently heard in the middle of the night. -
Police Assault an Elderly Couple Protesting Their Son's Arrest
2006-11-28On the night of November 11th, 2006, about eight policemen stopped an older couple that were protesting their son's arrest. The police officers took away a banner (with words of protest) from them. They pushed the elderly lady down on the ground and put the older man into the police vehicle, pulling him just by his hair. They drove away quickly. When the older lady went to the police station to appeal for her husband's release she saw a police officer chasing her husband. Her husband stumbled and the larger policeman tackled him. -
The Situation of Practitioners Mr. Zhao Longzhi and His Wife Ms. Luo Na in Tibet Remains Unknown After Eight Months in Police Custody
2006-11-27Tibetan Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhao Longzhi and his wife Ms. Luo Na were arrested by local police officers and members of the 610 Office on January 31, 2006. Local police officers and members of the 610 Office became suspicious that Mr. Zhao and Ms. Luo were distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The officers searched the couple's home and took them into custody. No family visit has been granted. It has been reported that Mr. Zhao Longzhi and Ms. Luo Na were unlawfully held in the Lhasa City Detention Centre. -
Mr. Dai Zhifeng and Mr. Zhou Hui from Anhui Province Sentenced to Long Prison Terms in a Secret Trial
2006-11-26Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Dai Zhifeng and Mr. Zhou Hui were arrested on March 2nd, 2006, in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. They were detained in Huaibei Second Detention Centre. On September 29th, the Xiangshan District Court of Huaibei City held a secret trial without notifying their relatives. At the trial Mr. Dai and Mr. Zhou shouted "Falun Dafa is Good! Falun Dafa is Righteous! Please learn the truth about Falun Dafa." They were beaten by court officials. On October 24th, the Xiangshan District Court sentenced Mr. Dai Zhifeng to six years in prison and sentenced Mr. Zhou Hui to seven years in prison--in their absence--and did not notify their families. -
Details of Dafa Practitioners Being Tortured at the Mudanjiang Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2006-11-25All levels of officials participated in torturing practitioners at the Mudanjiang Forced Labour Camp, from the director to guards. The guards manipulated the inmates who wanted to shorten their prison terms with special achievements, inciting them to abuse Dafa practitioners. With violence and blood, the Mudanjiang Forced Labour Camp achieved a 100% "transformation rate." The practitioners' bodies were bleeding, while their hearts were weeping. -
Mr. Liu Xianglong Arrested in Langfang City, Hebei Province
2006-11-25On the morning of October 8th, 2006, two brothers (non-practitioners) of Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Jianpo, who is dying, drove to visit him in the Jidong Prison. Because they did not know where the prison was located, they asked practitioner Mr. Liu Xianglong to guide them. The prison had notified Mr. Yang's brothers to visit, but as soon as they arrived at the prison, more than ten state security agents, led by Liu Yan'guo, from Langfang City arrested Mr. Liu and almost arrested Mr. Yang's two brothers. -
Mr. Lin Mingli in Shanghai Sentenced to Six Years in Prison - His Family Will Appeal
2006-11-23On November 10th, 2006, the Putuo District Court in Shanghai City sentenced Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lin Mingli to six years in prison. His family immediately appealed the sentence. Mr. Lin Mingli's wife was only allowed to enter the court after requesting several times. The Shanghai City 610 Office planned to severely sentence Mr. Lin Mingli long ago. They failed to find enough proof to sentence Lin Mingli even after a whole year. They read two "personal witnesses" without the people involved present, but Mr. Lin Mingli was still sentenced to six years in prison. -
Two Practitioners in Jinan, Shandong Province Arrested
2006-11-23Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Jianmei and Huang Min were speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa in a restaurant, and police officers from the 610 Office found them and arrested Huang Min. Ms. Li condemned their actions, so she was arrested as well. Then police went to their homes in Jinan to perform searches. Huang Min had been tortured in a mental hospital in October 2003. Ms. Li Jianmei had been sent to a forced labour camp twice. -
The Most Evil Dark Dens in Mainland China that Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners
2006-11-22Based on information and materials collected by the Clearwisdom website, we are publishing a partial list of the most evil dark dens in 30 provinces that persecute Dafa practitioners in Mainland China. In Jilin Province alone there are 20 camps that torture and kill practitioners and Heilongjiang Province accounts for 18 jails and forced labour camps that use the most despicable methods to force practitioners to renounce their belief in Falun Dafa. -
National Security Agents and 610 Office Members in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province Arrest Practitioners
2006-11-22On February 25th, 2006, the national security agents of Yisuhe Town in Xiangtan County suddenly dispatched over a dozen personnel to practitioner Mr. Liu Heqing's home to confiscate his property. They arrested Mr. Liu, put him into the police vehicle, and sent him to the Xiangtan City Mental Hospital with his feet in shackles. Mr. Liu was injected with drugs that suppress the central nervous system. Afterwards, the doctor discovered that his mental condition was normal, but Mr. Liu was not allowed to be released until after the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) congressional sessions were over. -
The Brutal Persecution of Yu Ming at the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp, Beijing
2006-11-21Due to long-term torture, practitioner Yu Ming has ulcers all around his mouth, which smell bad. This was the third time Yu Ming had been arrested and detained at the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp. Later, the prison doctors added large amounts of sleeping pills to Yu Ming's food. This made him sleepy every day. He was tied onto a bed and could not move. He suffered tremendous physical and mental torture and was extremely weak.
