  • Belgium: The People of Eeklo Show Warm Support for Falun Gong.

    On Saturday afternoon on May 5th, 2007, at the 175th anniversary of the founding of Onze Lieve Vrouw ten Doorn College, Falun Gong practitioners introduced Falun Gong to visitors. The five Falun Gong exercises were shown on a large TV screen. Falun Gong practitioners distributed Falun Gong leaflets to the people in an endless stream.
  • Czech Republic: Forum Opposing Communism

    On May 1st, 2007, thousands of people attended a forum at Letna Park, Prague, Czech Republic, in a protest against communism. The forum, entitled “Against Communist, Against Fascism, Against Totalitarianism,” was organised by the Confederation of the Czech Political Prisoners.
  • Italy: Practitioners in Rome Raise Awareness about Falun Gong

    Falun Gong practitioners in Rome held an activity near Saint Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, commemorating the eighth anniversary of the April 25th peaceful appeal by Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing. They condemned the Chinese Communist regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong and trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Comparisons Between the Holocaust and the Genocide of Falun Gong Practitioners in China

    On May 1st, a new law meant to put an end to organ harvesting was supposed to be enacted in China and already experts have designated it to be ineffective. David Matas, a respected Canadian human rights attorney, together with David Kilgour, the former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia and Pacific Affairs, have collected evidence showing that China harvests organs from Falun Gong practitioners. Matas, who is Jewish, compared the dilemma of Falun Gong practitioners in China with that of the Jews during the Third Reich.
  • Finnish Foreign Student Writes a Letter to an MP, Appealing for the Rescue of her Stepfather Zhang Weijie

    It is near the time that the 2007 Europe-China human rights dialogue will be held on May 15th and 16th in Berlin. Foreign student Sunny wrote a letter to Finnish parliament members and human rights organisations to appeal to them help urge the CCP to release her stepfather who was imprisoned illegally and stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Finland: Finnish People Express Concern about Zhang Weijie’s Kidnap by the CCP

    On May 5th, a group of Finnish Falun Gong practitioners went to the central railway station to raise awareness about the persecution. Passersby read information boards about Zhang Weijie’s kidnap, while others read posters about the persecution which the CCP inflicts on Falun Gong practitioners. One young lady said, "I know that the CCP only does bad deeds".
  • Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners in St.Petersburg Raise Awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's Atrocities

    The CCP has been secretly putting pressure on the Russian Authorities and has attempted to export its persecution overseas. At the rally, there was a large group of police “maintaining order”. Although the police were somewhat nervous and indifferent, Falun Gong practitioners kept trying to speak to them.

    The Chinese Communist regime has incessantly persecuted Falun Gong during the past eight years, but these kind-hearted people who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" have not been defeated by the atrocities. Instead, more and more people have started to practise Falun Gong. Currently, Dafa has spread to over eighty countries and regions around the world.
  • France: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally Outside the Chinese Embassy in Paris to Commemorate the April 25th Appeal

    Falun Gong practitioners rallied outside the Chinese Embassy in Paris to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the April 25th appeal. Paris practitioners protested against the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and particularly against organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Ukraine: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in Western Ukraine

    Falun Gong practitioners from the capital of Ukraine made use of their three day vacation and went to western Ukraine to raise awareness about Falun Gong, expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, and expose the evil nature of the CCP. During the three days, practitioners visited four cities.
  • Finland: Practitioners Give a Helping Hand to a Chinese Student

    "What can I do? What has the Finnish government done?" These questions are often heard when Finnish Falun Gong practitioners raise awareness at the central railway station. On April 28th, 2007, the practitioners came to the railway station to tell people about the eight-year cruel persecution that the CCP inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners.
  • United Kingdom: "Force cannot chain conscience and belief in freedom"

    From April 19th to 25th 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Cambridge held an art exhibition comprising of work created by artists who are also Falun Gong practitioners. The exhibition is entitled the International ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance’ Exhibition and was held in St Laurence’s Catholic Church. This event was fully supported by the church, politicians and artists. This is the fourth time this internationally renowned exhibition has been held in Cambridge.
  • German Practitioners Write an Open letter to the Chinese Consulate in Munich to Commemorate the April 25th Appeal

    "The publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party started the overwhelming tide of defections from the CCP. Over twenty one million Chinese people have defected from the CCP’s organisations. The final days of the CCP are being counted ... At such a critical moment in human history, of your counterparts, some chose a bright future for themselves. For instance, Chen Yonglin in Australia and Zhang Jiyan in Canada announced they would quit the CCP. Of your counterparts, some chose darkness, though. Pan Xinchun, the Deputy Consul General in Toronto, was convicted of libel for attacking a Canadian Falun Gong practitioner in a Canadian newspaper article".
  • Germany: Reflecting on the International Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition in Dresden

    It has been four weeks since the opening ceremony of the International Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition took place in the citizen’s hall of the Saxon Parliament in Dresden. This exhibition drew the attention of many people. Visitors have been deeply touched by the deep inner meanings they see in the pictures, but they were shocked when they heard of the brutal persecution against the peaceful Falun Gong practitioners, a persecution that has been perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for eight years.
  • Speech from London Activities to Commemorate April 25th: "My experience of being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party"

    My name is Xinxia Jiang. I have been practicing Falun Gong since 1994. On 21st of July 1999, I went to Beijing with some of my fellow practitioners to appeal to the central government to lift the ban on Falun Gong. Police arrested all of us. I was sent back to the school in Shanghai where I worked as a fine arts teacher. Once back, I was locked up in a small classroom and was not allowed to see anyone for over a month. During which time, five to six policemen took turns interrogating me everyday.
