Ms. Sun Guilan used to be an employee at the Petroleum Machinery Factory in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. On the afternoon of October 8, 2001, Ms. Sun was tortured to death after brutal force-feeding at the detention centre of Jintai Police Department in Baoji City. She was only 46 years old at the time. The criminal detainees that witnessed the crimes of these evil policemen all cried. Many of them had learned about the facts of the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners from the practitioners that were detained there, and now witnessed this brutal persecution firsthand. -
The Facts Regarding the Death of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Song Gang, a Former Deputy Section Head at Yichun City's Government Legal and Law Office
2004-06-12Mr Song Gang, in his forties, went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was illegally arrested by the police. He was often interrogated during his detention and suffered brutal torture. In the end, seeing that he was on the verge of death, the police released him temporarily, for fear of taking the responsibility should he die in their custody. In order to monitor his movements more easily, the police forced him to go to work and closely followed him. Under such mental and physical stress Song Gang's health condition worsened and he died on January 28, 2001. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xiao Yixia is Handcuffed and Suspended by Her Arms in the Shandong Weifang Industrial School
2004-06-12Ms. Xiao Yixia, a Falun Dafa practitioner and well-known artist, was kidnapped and taken to the Shandong Weifang Industrial School. She has been held there for more than a month. Because Xiao has not given up her belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," the brainwashing centre has used vicious means to torture her mentally and physically. Even though currently Xiao's body is very weak, they are still torturing her by handcuffing and suspending her in the air by her arms. -

2004-06-11Flying (an Airplane) - This is one of the common tortures used in labour camps and brainwashing classes on Falun Dafa practitioners who refuse to give up their belief. In this torture, the head is bent down until it cannot go down any further, while the hands are pulled up and held up at the highest point against the wall. The practitioner is forced to hold this position unchanged for a long time period (more than 10 hours). If a practitioner refuses to comply, he/she will be shocked with an electric baton or beaten to the point of losing consciousness. Police will then roughly wake up the practitioner and continue the torture. -
Further Details on the Torture Death of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Chi Yulian from Dalian City
2004-06-11Based on inside information, in June 2001, Ms. Chi Yulian was illegally detained in the Dalian City Detention Centre. She went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution. The police handcuffed her and shackled her, fastened her to the floor and neglected her until she lost consciousness. Even a seventy-year-old woman had to withstand such torture. That same night, Chi Yulian was sent to the hospital, but she died after a failed rescue effort. -
In Memory of My Father, Zhang Baicheng, Who Was Tortured to Death Two Years Ago
2004-06-11My family and I live in Meihekou City in Jilin Province. It has been exactly two years since my father Zhang Baicheng passed away. I often cry when I think of him. He was a very good father. In 2000 my father was also sentenced to one year in a forced labour camp for posting Dafa truth-clarifying materials. In December 2001 he was sent home because he had been brutally tortured! It was too horrible to look at him! In that den of evil, my father suffered extreme torture, both physically and mentally. On February 19, 2002, my father passed away, two months after he came back home. -

Ms. Wang Juan Dies From Abuse in Baoding City Prison
2004-06-10Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Juan lived in Hebei Province. She was 37 years old. Since she refused to renounce her practice of Falun Dafa, people from Dingzhou City "610 Office" arrested her on April 24, 2004. On April 26, 2004, only two days after being arrested, Wang Juan died in Baoding City Mancheng County Prison due to the abuses she suffered there. -
Ms. Yang Jinying Dies from Torture Suffered in Police Custody in Anhui Province
2004-06-10Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Jinying was abducted in April 2002. They held her for 20 months, during which time the perpetrators tortured her and tried to force her to give up her practice of Falun Dafa. She became paralyzed and incontinent from the torture, and could not take any food. As she was on the brink of death, the perpetrators sentenced her to three years in prison and told her son to sign a document for medical parole. She was sent to a hospital. The next day, the hospital issued a "critical notice." Several days later, Yang Jinying passed away. -
Mr. Li Chuanwen Dies of Torture Suffered in Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp
2004-06-1054 years old Mr. Li Chuanwen lived in Jilin Province. In September 2002, he was sent to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp, Changchun City, Jilin Province. Not a day went by without him being insulted and beaten. By the second half of 2003, Li Chuanwen could no longer keep going under this abuse. He suffered from severe malnutrition and had completely lost his appetite. During the New Year of 2004, he had a physical examination. The doctor who had examined him told the camp," This person needs to be released right away." He was only released in March and passed away on March 19 in hospital. -

2004-06-09Zhang Yuzhen, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hebei Province, experienced many forms of persecution because she remained steadfast in her belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance." Ms. Zhang Yuzhen was sent to a brainwashing centre, where she was subjected to torture. On May 4, 2004, she died in a small clinic. The authorities did not send Zhang Yuzhen to the hospital when her condition was dire, nor did they notify her family of her condition until it was too late. Neither could they give any explanation to her family after her death. -
Details of How Practitioner Mr. Ou Keshun from Hunan Province Was Tortured to Death
2004-06-09On the morning of January 20, 2001, when facing brutal force and pressure while being unlawfully detained, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Ou Keshun kept a compassionate mind while suffering. Since he would not give up Falun Gong, Liu, the deputy head of the focus group beat him. To protest the brutal violation of his basic rights, Ou went on a peaceful hunger strike. Police officers coerced detained drug addicts to torture him until he vomited blood and died at the Changde City Drug Addiction Centre. To cover up the true cause of death, the "610 Office" ordered that he be cremated in Chengde City. -
Tangshan City Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Sujun Imprisoned and Forced to Have an Abortion
2004-06-0937 year old Ms. Liu Sujun went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing with other practitioners to hold up a banner reading "Falun Dafa Is Great" and was arrested and detained for five months. Ms. Liu was two months pregnant at that time. During the detention, she asked for a physical checkup and the police ignored her. Knowing her physical condition, the police still locked both her hands and feet together with heavy shackles, thus preventing her from sitting up straight. She suffered this kind of inhuman torture until she was seven months pregnant. Then, she was forced to terminate her pregnancy and was sent home. -
World Renowned Artists Xiao Yixia and Her Husband Repeatedly Persecuted for Upholding Their Belief in Falun Dafa
2004-06-09Ms. Xiao Yixia from Shandong Province, although only 32 years old, was already well-known both in China and overseas for her work "Wood Carvings" and the sculpting workshop she conducted with her husband Zhou Ning. Ms. Xiao is currently detained at Weifang City Industrial Works Institute. The special agents from the National Security Department tried to force her to give up her belief with physical abuse. At present, she has been so savagely tortured that she has developed convulsions. She is physically extremely feeble.
