Chuanxi Women's Prison Has Subjected Nearly One Hundred Practitioners to Brutal Torture

After ex-leader of China, Jiang Zemin and his associates' persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, the Chuanxi Women's Prison in Sichuan Province has been detaining Falun Dafa practitioners on and off, amounting to nearly one hundred practitioners in total. During the continuous persecution, the division director Wang Xinya has made repeated remarks at many meetings, "We take the death of a Falun Gong practitioner like the death of a dog. Just take the body out and cremate it." -

My dad, Zhang Peiqi, and my mom, Liu Meijun, were abducted and detained at Antu Detention Centre because they refused to give up their belief in Falun Dafa. My mum was abducted on March 13, 2004. The police forcefully sent her to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labour Camp without notifying her family members. 2004-09-21"It was noon on July 19, 2000 and I was taking a break at home, wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt because of the hot weather. All of a sudden, four or five policemen broke into my home and questioned me as to whether I was still practising Falun Gong. They handcuffed me and ordered me go to the police station with them. My family members tried to reason with them, but the police threatened my family with handcuffs and electric batons. However, they didn't go to the police station; instead, they drove me to a remote forest farm. They hung me from a tree by my handcuffs and kept beating me." -
Huge Profits Made by Chaoyang District Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City
2004-09-21The Chaoyang District Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City recently moved to an adjacent location. After the move, the old site was leased to a few underground factories that have no business license and pay no taxes. The labour camp forced detainees to work in these factories, folding paper in the print shop or working on miscellaneous jobs in the leather processing shop. The labour camp police have made huge profits from this arrangement. -
More Details Regarding the Torture Death of Dafa Practitioner Ms. He Xiuling
2004-09-20Dafa practitioner Ms. He Xiuling lived in Shandong Province. She was tortured while being held at a Detention Centre in Yantai City and passed away on March 11, 2004. Her husband requested an autopsy, and personnel from the Judicial and Public Security Bureau in Yantai City performed it, but they refused to give him the report. Later, he consulted other medical experts who went to the hospital to look at He Xiuling's medical records. They brought up the following: "1. There is no record of emergency treatment; 2. How did the cerebral embolism form? 3. There was no death certification report; 4. There are no results of the spinal tap; 5. There is no group diagnosis record. -
Additional Information about the Torture and Death of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wei Xinhua from Gansu Province
2004-09-20In December 2003, Wei Xinhua was sent to the Dashaping Prison in Lanzhou City. The guards tortured him with various measures including hanging him up, beatings, injections with unknown drugs, and sleep deprivation. He became extremely thin from the torture. On April 12 2004, he was sent to a hospital for an examination and the doctor said that his internal organs were severely damaged. On April 16, the officials from the prison were reluctant to spend too much money on his health care and so Mr. Wei was sent back to Prison. On April 17, 2004, the prison let his family take him home to die. Wei Xinhua passed away 24 hours later on April 18. -

2004-09-20These methods of torture were used in the year 2000 on practitioners detained in Xinhua Labour Camp, Sichuan province. The police instigated drug addicts to tie up practitioners' hands, and hung them up by the feet to a basketball support. Then these thugs cursed and beat the practitioners with their hands and feet. Sometimes over a dozen would together beat one practitioner. The man who beat the practitioners the most fiercely would be given a reward by the guards - he might be named a detainee leader and given authority to order other detainees -
Electric Needle Torture
2004-09-20"In May 2003, I was arrested and detained in the Wuhan Detention Centre for distributing materials to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa. Later, I was sent to a psychiatric hospital south of Wuhan City in Hubei Province. During this time, I was subjected one of the cruellest tortures--being electro-shocked with needles inserted into my temple. While the electric current was passing through me, my whole body was convulsing with great force. The pain was unbearable. It was like a knife stabbing into my head." -

2004-09-19Ms. He Xiuling was tortured to death on March 11, 2004 for believing in Falun Gong and being a good person in accordance with, "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance". The responsible parties are the "610 Office", Detention Centre and Yuhuangding Hospital in Yantai City. I have been appealing for justice to the Supreme Procuratorate. The "610 Office " has sent people to bribe me many times. They even asked my neighbour to pressure me, telling her they'd pay 100,000 Yuan, or even more if necessary on the condition that I gave up my appeals. -
Supplementary Information Regarding the Torture Death of Liu Chengjun
2004-09-19In December 2003, Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Chengjun was on the verge of death due to persecution at Jilin City Prison. He was sent twice in one week to a hospital. After the horrific deeds of the prison were partially made public, Liu's family members went to the hospital, demanding his release. The labour camp hospital was shocked, and immediately held a meeting to investigate how the news had leaked out. Their fear after discovering that their deeds had been exposed was quite significant. -

2004-09-19Torture method: Pliers are used to pinch and pull on fingers and toes: The perpetrators first isolate and pinch the two top segments of a practitioners' finger; then they use metal pliers to clamp hard on the bones and fingernails. (The practitioners lose consciousness during this procedure.) They do the same with the practitioners' toenails. This is how they proceed: They first clamp the index finger of the left hand and then they crush the big toe on the left foot. -
Ten Torture Methods Used on Dafa Practitioners in Various Forced Labour Camps (Illustrations)
2004-09-18Method 2: Force-feeding: With the victim bound to a bed or chair, the persecutors pry their mouths open and force-feed them using a funnel or tubing reaching into the stomach. Before feeding, the persecutors first pull the tubing up and down, and back and forth repeatedly. This usually results in bleeding of oesophagus and stomach, and is extremely painful. The victim is then fed unknown substances, drugs, or a high density solution of salt and water. Practitioners often vomit after force-feeding. -

2004-09-18The Yushan Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin City tortures Falun Dafa practitioners brutally. They try to force practitioners to walk back and forth on our Teacher's picture and shout obscene words. When practitioners refuse to comply, the guards stab, shock and beat the sensitive places on the body including the head, neck and private parts with big long needles, electric batons and wooden sticks. Prisoners force-feed Falun Gong practitioners and mix food with large amounts of salt, toothpaste, chili powder, and even faeces. -
Mr. Yuan Shunhua of East China Normal University Deprived of the Right of Study
2004-09-18Mr. Yuan Shunhua, age 26, began his undergraduate studies at the Department of Art Education of East China Normal University in 1997. On July 20, 1999, the university heads had several private talks with him, threatening him with removal from his class monitor post and expulsion from the Youth League of Chinese Communist Party. They pressured his family, trying to coerce him into denouncing Falun Gong and criticizing Falun Gong in accordance with Party propaganda. In 2000, Yuan Shunhua went to Beijing to appeal and was sent to a labour camp and deprived of the right to go to university.
