  • United Kingdom: Mayor of Cambridge Compliments Falun Gong Practitioners on their Contribution to the Community

    Falun Gong practitioners were invited to take part in the Cambridge Multiculture and Sports Festival. In the festival, practitioners showed local residents what Falun Gong is and informed them about the persecution by the Communist regime in China. The Mayor of Cambridge complimented Falun Gong practitioners on their contribution to the community.
  • Irish Times: China to be Questioned on 'Organ Harvesting'

    "China's ambassador to Ireland is to be asked to appear before an Oireachtas committee to discuss claims that the Chinese authorities have been harvesting bodily organs from prisoners. A report investigating alleged organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China was presented to the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs today. Former Canadian secretary of state for the Asia Pacific region, David Kilgour, who co-wrote the report with international human rights lawyer David Matas, addressed the committee today."
  • Germany: Explaining the Facts of the Persecution at Mainz City in Rheinland-Pfalz State

    On November 18th 2006, German practitioners reenacted the Chinese Communist regime's cruel atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many kind-hearted people were shocked by the Chinese regime's atrocities. After learning the facts, they signed the petition one after another, calling for an end to the persecution.

Therefore, it is distressing to see that you are spreading lies and hatred in Finland and poisoning the public. What you have done is already beyond the limit of your duties as consulates.   • Prague Daily Monitor: March in Prague Against Human Rights Violations in China on Friday

    "Organs are removed alive from imprisoned members of the Falun Gong movement in China," David Kilgour, lawyer and former Canadian State Secretary for Asia and the Pacific Area, says in a report he presented at a seminar in the Chamber of Deputies today. Kilgour says in his report that people are killed during the removal of organs or immediately after it. He plans to speak at a rally at Prague Castle tomorrow that will convene after a public march across Prague to raise awareness of the issue.
  • United Kingdom: Striking Performances at the Cambridge Multicultural Festival

    On Saturday 18th November 2006, Cambridge City Council invited Falun Gong practitioners to its Multicultural and Sports Festival as representatives of the local Chinese community. Practitioners put on a powerful show of dancing and music. The hall was packed. The show started and finished with a demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.
  • Chinese Embassy in Ireland Refuses to Renew Falun Gong Practitioner's Passport

    "In April 2006, I went to the Chinese Embassy in Dublin to have my passport renewed. At that time one of staff in the Embassy first helped me go through some formalities, accepted my passport and then told me that I could come to collect my new passport in four weeks. On the 8th of May, I went to the Chinese Embassy for my new passport. When I went to the window to get my passport, I told one of staff the reason why I was there. She simply checked and then told me: “I haven’t got your passport."
  • Czech Republic: Third Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference is Held in Prague

    On November 18th 2006, the Third Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference in the Czech Republic was held in the Agricultural University in Prague. Ten practitioners from the area shared their experiences of how they have improved themselves through cultivation and during their work to let people know about the persecution against Falun Gong.
  • Germany: Practitioners Expose the CCP's Brutality and Support the Fifteen Million Withdrawals from the Party

    Falun Gong practitioners in Germany organised an activity at the St. Mary’s Square in the centre of Munich, exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners and supporting over fifteen million Chinese people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its associated organisations.
  • Norway: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Bodo International Week 2006

    From the 5th to the 12th of November 2006, Bodo City in the northern part of Norway held a week-long “Bodo International Week 2006”. As part of the celebrations, the Language School in Bodo held a series of activities. Performances by Falun Gong practitioners added colour to the school’s International Week and helped to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
  • Germany: Exposing the CCP's Atrocities to the People of Ratingen

    On October 28th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Nordhein-Westfalen went to Ratingen, to tell local people about the CCP's trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. When people heard about the atrocity of the CCP extensively imprisoning practitioners and harvesting their organs, they all were astonished and expressed their dismay.
  • Denmark: Supporting the Fifteen Million Withdrawals from the CCP

    On November 9th, 2006, Copenhagen's 'Quitting the CCP Service Centre', several Epoch Times volunteer workers and Falun Gong practitioners held a rally outside the Chinese Embassy in Copenhagen. The rally was to support the fifteen million brave Chinese people who have renounced the CCP and also to protest against CCP’s illegal detention of human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng.
  • Spain: Falun Gong Makes a Good Impression at the International Health Expo in Barcelona

    On the 3rd and 5th of November 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Spain were invited to participate in the annual International Health Expo held in Barcelona, which attracts many visitors from all over the world every year. Many visitors signed a petition condemning the persecution of the practice by the CCP.
  • Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution Taking Place in China

    The practitioners unfolded two banners in the small square and exhibited photos documenting the persecution happening in China. Several practitioners demonstrated the exercises and the others distributed flyers. People were moved by the gentle exercise music and the beautiful exercises and two children learned the exercises there and then.

    Many of the passers-by had extremely cold hands and found it hard to hold the pen and yet they were still determined to sign the petition no matter how much effort it took. It was also pleasing to find people passing by commenting that they already knew about the persecution, had taken a leaflet or/and had signed the petition.
